A Tinkers Tale: A brief animated history of Gateshead, is a film collaboration between Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums' (TWAM) Live Well programme and Gateshead Clubhouse about the history of Gateshead.
Live Well is a two-year partnership between Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums (TWAM) and National Museums Northern Ireland (NMNI) supported by the Big Lottery fund. Working across Tyneside, Live Well offers learning opportunities for older adults (50+) who do not currently engage with museum services through access to museum and gallery collections and via creative activities.
