I feel like the last 6-9 months of updates have just been adopting after-market plug ins/modded attributes into vanilla. Sure, more items have been added to the game so more box space was needed, but that's why we used barbeques and furnaces. I'm still left wondering why I can't climb cliffs and why cheaters can continue to run rampant.
Rust uses EAC just like many other games. The cheats that are not detected are usually ESP/Map hack cheats, since they don't modify game files, and these type of cheats just matter a lot more in Rust.
#1 last patch address ALOT of cliff bug issues, ive seen them myself, you cant quite climb as freely as ALPHA Rust but nearly there now. #2 Any and every game that allows aftermarket modding to be done will run into this issue with adopting great ideas. They will be so good but you just cant not adopt them because you didnt come up with them or your just a moron

yeah i dislike this change, making zipline access only bases was a really fun thing to do as well as include traps if enemies land on your roof. I wish they would add player crafted and built ziplines we can connect to our bases that would be really fun.
