la mejor versión de esta suite que encontré ( años escuchando versiones) con su única pifiada y todo. BRAVO!!!!! TECNICA, SONIDO, EXPRESIVIDAD INCOMPARABLE!!! BRAVO!!
A lovely performance. The second movement is haunting and graceful, just as Godard would have liked. However I still like Paula Robison's interpretation better in the first and third movements. Rapid and aggressive. I knew her in the 70's.
Step aside Galway --- you've been replaced by two young rising stars: Paolo and Bouriakov. You've earned your millions --- time to retire. You've disgraced classical flute playing with your cross-over music to earn your millions.
How can you tell you that! James Galway is a great flutist and devotes his entre life to the flute! He has spent a lot of time in playing and teaching flute inmasterclasses and so his former „students“ like Denis Bouriakov etc. are playing on a very high level ....
Sheesh, a purist. James Galway did more for the flute and flute education than many a flutist combined. On a personal note, his Showpieces album is what made me want to take up flute as a child. I'm not sure you'd stay such a purist if you were in his shoes. So show a little respect and kindly remove the broomstick from your behind.
And something else to think about. James Galway is a brilliant contract negotiator. The studios wanted him to do the crossover recordings, but his first love was always the classical. So he agreed to do the crossover on the condition that for every crossover album he recorded he could do two classical albums. And he played BRILLIANTLY on all of them!

This is what Lizzo was playing lmao i can hear it, but she was struggling XD
What,s flute model you use?
Igor Kiklevich I think that Paolo in this concert played Brannen with Sheridan headjoint
Now Paolo play a Powell 19 karat gold with original headjoint.
His playing is great except he needs to control his sound in upper C3 so our ears don't bleed.
@@MT-lt3dh ooh my ears!!
@@gcg8187 flutists are capable of muting C3 if they have a french model flute.
