  • Well been working on tons stuff for the other my other channel lately! That time of year again! Motorized bicycle have been taking off in are area in mass numbers it seems! Trying to get this ms460 kit off the ground and opening up a whole online shop at the same time! Been riding the 4 stroke around mostly till ms460 got rebuilt! Everything ahs been crazy with warmer weather here and bikes keep showing up to be fixed!
    Starting to see lots of people now riding this around since gas is crazy priced these days! Anyhow stay safe and watch out for cars! seen two people in Sc lately 48 hours wreck bad! 2 get hit by cars! Remember most people are not paying attention! so don't expect them to see you! Orange Vest seems to be just invit to run you over these days so be proactive and ride smart, Cause chances are the crazy Karen with cell phone is not!

    Good to have reserved power when you need them 😃! As always, your vids are great source of info esp for DIYers (saves some $$ than buying ready-made 😁). As a hobby, it's self satisfying when your re-building something to make it run better! Awesome build! Thanks!

    Gonna have to get the bbf decals made up for the clutch and magneto covers. Some of us old school guys are still 100% sure that stickers/decals are good for hp/mph gains. Especially if the kits take off the way it’s looking like they will.

    Phantoms aren't bad if you correct all the issues. I used a MS380 piston, sae660 bushing, g2 reed with tm24 mikuni, & decent expansion pipe. I bought 1 from the very 1st run, before the problems were known. They do work, just not outta the box

      @BuildBreakFix  Před 2 lety +1

      They say it's really common with ms440 and the ms380, they say it has something to do with port design? Don't really know first had! Seen others say that on forums

  • @MedicWillCA

    MPH has everything to do with gearing and much less to do with what cylinder it is

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před 2 lety

      well depends on porting of the cylinder ! If you have low range porting you will never hit past 6k rpm. Minarelli is like mid port 10k rpm range (without serous mods or stage 6 jug) and the saw builds are made for 75% porting scream at 14k rpm. so if your porting matching the sprocket of what that engine can drive at higher rpms plays huge roll in speed! fo example I ran a minarelli on a 22T sprocket still only hit 70mph! Can do the same thing on a 32T sprocket. Minarelli just didn't have the balls to pull that 22t! On other hand saw build can't even get up to 50mph on it! but can fly easy one 32t past 65!

  • @trevormurphy7041
    @trevormurphy7041 Před 2 lety +1

    I had a kind of stupid idea do you think it would work if you use the port for the pressure release valve and stick an injector in there a wet nitrous system. I know it’s a pressure release valve but it seems like you could do so much more with it fuel injected would be nice

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před 2 lety

      Sure just need the 100$ fuel injector, oil mix regulator 300$, efi controller about 400$ o2 sensor another 80$, fuel pump 75$, oil storage tank $??, and fuel injector throttle body, 150$ lol. Seriously! I actually have a efi ktm 65 go kart! Those are the serious parts prices lol. All small engine efi is so much $$$ and bloody hell to setup.

  • @motorizedbicyclenation53cu90

      The mushroom shaved exhaust port that starts closing at transfer line or above it if you have enough duration that helps a lot as far as tuning in How it rides especially with reed valves will make it more efficient the arch of course helps determine speed or torque and angle of transfer exit helps determine this as well I’m sure you know this already

    Hey brother soMethiNg else that would help with cooling besides a ceramic head would be running a single ring piston and doing a lateral piston port )to cool rings look it up you’ll see what I’m saying it’ll help cool the rings and all and keep from seizing just don’t get the bottom side of ring groove only works with a single ring piston maybe if ya remove the second ring it may idk also their is gas ported rings tho that looks 🤷🏻‍♂️ anything is worth trying and if ya fail ya learn WHY ya fail and then fix it till it’s perfect!

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před 2 lety

      What? Ceramic cylinders run hotter though not cooler. Ceramic coating on the outside of the cylinder is to deflect heat away from stuff around it. This saw build wont have a cold seizure issue. Both the piston and jug are aluminum. Did you mean ceramic topped piston? Defects heat off the piston like I did in my minarelli?
