His pilgrimage trip in the Middle East where he is on right now that he had planned for a while and didn't want to just not go on the trip. So he choose the pilgrimage trip over the Olympics.

I'm not one to jump to saying it's because JB and Kyrie are Muslims. But it is wild considering how the playoffs went that neither of them got the call. We definitely deserve an explanation. Kawhi should've never even been considered with his glass body. It should be in his contract that he can't play anything other than regular season and playoff games. He shouldn't even be willing to play more than that.
