Thank you Icelandic fan for making this great episode possible and thank you my youtube family!
Naseeba: I'll take this for my daughters.
Ismail: I'll bring this back home, hide it, and enjoy it while the kids are away. Haha, i adore his witty personality.
Cheers To Iceland; For Their, High Literacy Rate/Most Book Shops Per Capita, Very Low Corruption, Peacefulness, Natural Beauty, Etc! Cheers To The Reactistan Crew, ✌💙💛
You forgot the high levels of corruption and absurd living costs as a direct result of that 😊
actually very high corruption 6 highest corruption in whole europe and second highest in whole nordic countries, but its not like most corruptions its more like the politicans works for the ones that pays the highest to their companies and friends while the avarage people are left out but still very peaceful compere to other countries but its still getting more dangerous in some areas in the country but overall very peaceful
How kind of you, Mr. Olsen. I enjoyed watching them enjoy the treats.
How fun! Now I want to try sweets from Iceland. Thank you Baldvin Olsen for sending these amazing items to Reactistan for them to try.
Iceland is so beautiful. Went there years ago, to see my granddaughter who was born in Keflavik. Her Dad was stationed at the Naval Air Station .
Yaaay! It's a win for Iceland😊!
Omg watching Radha’s utterly confused face while she couldn’t stop eating the licorice 😂
I agree with Naseeba. The Arctic Fox is one of the most beautiful animals ever created. I’ve seen some close up in Norway. They’re adorable
The positivity and genuine reaction to our small and remote countries food make me want to fly over with a plane full of treats! I could cook some traditional lamb soup and we will have icecream for dessert 🥹
Mehboob cracked me up when he kept reacing over and eating Manzoor's ice cream
Great episode! I always enjoy watching both the men and women participants! You all make me happy! 💕
Iceland is really all by itself! What a sweet treat’ 😊❤
Ismail is having the time of his life! I have to think of treats to send from America (even though I do not really like sweets)!
Glad you liked our sweets; inshallah we will all appreciate each others contribution to mankind, and learn to appreciate the good things we can offer, even if it is as small and simple as sweets.
i’m icelandic and i’m just trying to find an icelandic person here in the comments 😂
Seems like your products are of high quality :D
Fellow Icelander here hæ hæ.
This was definitely a fun reaction. Great job... Made me laugh & smile, ty
I'm so glad that you enjoyed our candies: Icelanders are quite proud of having good candy and I'm very happy to see you enjoying them.
They should try Icelandic hot dogs, next! 😍
She did in their earlier, beginning videos and said it's a symbol of a married woman's status.
Give them Turkish snacks to pls!!! Lots of love from Türkiye! 🇹🇷🖤
They had some already 😃 czcams.com/video/l--v3sSC9pk/video.html
I pray that your country is well and safe, especially now with that huge earthquake! 💕
@@nikkirockznikkirockz8551 Thank you very much! Everyone is doing his/her best to save as many lives as possible! From Germany we could only donate and can do nothing more than wait for at least some good news!
@@nikkirockznikkirockz8551 Thank you! 🖤 +60 countries sent help, state of emergency declared here for 3 months in the 10 cities that affected by the earthquakes

Great episode! Thank you for sharing your experience 🙏🏼😊
I am Icelandic. And I am familiar with most of the sweets there. All but that nutty thing put on ice-cream. Not sure what that is. But everything else is pretty much staple Icelandic sweets. We put licorice in a lot of candy. Chocolate with licorice in it is a very common type of candy. And that first one is a popular such chocolate.
Surprisingly maybe, we have a LOT of ice-cream stores. It is a really popular thing to do after visiting local swimming pools, that all use natural hot spring water, to have ice-cream after. Or to go for a car ride and eat ice-cream. We have a word for that activity 'ísbíltúr'. Literally: ice-cream-driving. And yes, a lot of people put licorice in the ice-cream too.
I have to clarify though that the Arctic fox is not Iceland's national animal. The Gyrfalcon is the national animal. Sadly, the cute fox is pretty hated by a lot of people. Because it kills so many birds and attacks livestock. I don't think it would ever be chosen as a national animal.
Kala means fish in Finnish
I wish I was rich & could fly them all out to Oregon to try skiing. 💗
Needs a follow up of Icelandic savoury foods
I was so excited when the liquorice came up :)
Cumin? I thought that the main flavor in liquorice was aniseed. But the story behind the name 'Heart-Painer' must be something else! How on earth did it get a name like that?
Most doctors say "any amount of licorice is bad for you." I don't care let it kill me its worth it.
Most likely becuz it soothes "heart pain", or heartburn.
"i get to keep the electric wires" hahaha
Liquorice is unique , its a candy invented in Europe.
its Herbal, savory, and Natural.
They always think of others. I would love to hear Naseeba tell about all thoss bangles/bracelets she wears.
Naseeba is very intelligent lady.
that was great! now send them some Þorramatur (it's that time of the year anyway) :))
Good video 📹 thanks for sharing
Masha Allah
6:31 i understand that this was crushed but its supposed to be filled with marshmellow fluff and it ssupposed to have a thin layer of chocolate surrounding it
All those sweets are so good. Om nom.
As an Icelander myself this intrigues me. Also it might be called Iceland but were known as the land of fire and ice while Canada over here a great friend is refered to as the great white north and gets MUCH, MUCH colder.
Also are other main foods are... Interesting. As a proud Icelander I refer to myself as the Man of Fire and Ice.
Great video!
Now we just need to get them some hangikjöt and harðfiskur. Those should be both halal and easy enough to preserve on the journey.
Mehboob helping Manzoor eat his haha. BFF!
This was fun to watch
I was hoping for some hakarl. THAT would've produced hilarious reactions.
It's interesting that licorice never became a thing in south Asia. Fennel's more the style there.
We do use licorice (called "muletThi" in Hindi and Urdu) but mostly as herbal medicine for a sore throat.
Gods above, imagine Hakarl being shipped that far.
The stench would be unbelieveable... If the thing wasn't held back in customs, under suspicions of being a chemical weapon.
Great video. But as a icelandic muslim I can tell you some of these candies contain gelatine, just in case someone is thinking of ordering some themself. Like the first one þristur, it contains gelatine.
Amazing video! What is Mehboob’s channel? I would love to watch it, but I can’t find it when I search!
@@manzoortribalvlogger1089 thanks brother 🙏
I love those crumbles from Holland.
The next time Mama wants a pure, unadulterated food and is worried about diabetics, dried licorice root sticks are pretty much as unprocessed as it gets. You chew it until it becomes fibrous, then suck the sweetness from it. It's 15% sugar, but since the sticks are very light, you can't eat them fast enough to make your blood sugar spike.
(You shouldn't have too much a day anyway, but, again, it's harder to overdose on stick-form licorice than candies.)
Iceland is actually Warmer than Greenland .
but, Iceland has cold Winters w/ ICE.

I am a wolf person, but that fox is beautiful!
3:16
Mehboob: "Won't you read the D?"
Manzoor: "Let's leave it this time."
That cracked me up.
How do I send treats?
Old-fashioned licorice... lol! Oh, Icelanders love that stuff. It's so gross...
Very interesting
I wish k ap log naseeba logo ko northern areas k tour pr le ja ske
Yay 1st🥳🤣
Global people ❤
Lots of love to the sender of these tasty treats. I adore licorice, but since they are learning English, maybe give them the correct pronunciation.
I absolutely love black licorice but the salt...
Yeah, salty locorice is very much an aquired taste.
Personally, I love it, but these days even a few pieces will give me a nasty heart-burn.
Scandinavians really like licorice - me, not so much
Tyrkisk pepper is the best! That's the only licorice i like.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
appreciate the effort with the subtitles and explaining what the guests are eating in detail! Unlike another similar channel from a little bit further north if you know what i mean
Yeah, that other channel may be very popular, but they don't seem to really respect their participants, often pranking them with purposely unpleasant items to try, like that one dude who can't handle peppers, but has to act like he enjoys super-spicy things. That's what I love about this channel, it's really genuine and honest and the participants are treated like honored guests.
@@lautreamontg totally agree!
Use a high quality ice creams like Haagen Daz.
I hope they get paid fairly !! Its their work like 70%
Manzoor's CZcams Channel: youtube.com/@manzoortribalvlogger1089
❤️❤️👍😀
Looks awesome.i didn't understand why they said cumin? No cumin in candy. Do they mean licerce?
They surely tasted licorice, but as it's an unfamiliar taste to them, cumin was a closer reference
😃😃
Be careful if they sent you that fermented fish in a can they like over there, open it outside, not indoors.
That's Sweden
@@Komodo1312 no, Iceland does shark, too
@@LindaC616 Yes, they have hakarl but not surströmning,
@@Komodo1312 they can't be too different
@@LindaC616 why?
I love black licorice, but can raise blood pressure
Achaa 🙏
I was trying to eat healthy when I was there, and don't like black licorice, so I didn't try any of these; now I wish I had!
what language do they speak?
Icelandic, close to the original Norse, i.e. Viking language. Iceland was inhabited mainly by people from Norway. It was a freestate until 1262, when it became part of Norway. In 1536 it became part of Denmark, and remained so, until it became a sovereign state in 1944.
They’re from pakistan and all speaking Urdu in this video but their native languages are all different. Mehboob and Manzoor speak either balochi or brahui as their first language, Mustafa speaks brahui, and naseeba and the other lady speak Sindhi.
@@plu8620 naseeba and the other lady speak sindhi and not saraiki
@@Nughair903 yes that’s what I said
Is Mehboob starting to like sweets?
Licorice always tastes off to me. Medicinal.
Like roti...
Naseeba must also learn to share. She should split the items with Radaah (excuse the spelling) whwn they're only given one pack of everything.
Godt gået Baldvin 😊
Rart at se en fra Broderfolket her.
The sweets You've seen here are pretty much the same sweets We love in Denmark.
- Then again, Iceland USED to be part of Denmark, but in 1944 they voted for their independence, and got it.
We still treat them as our brothers and sisters, as we love them
yep, iceland has alot of history with Denmark 😂
Don’t forget Norway. When Norway entered into the Kalmar Union, it did so with Iceland as a colony of Norway. That part was conviently forgotten in 1814 so Denmark kept Iceland when Norway left.
Late
These tribal people got good taste - unlike those awful brits
Their Imran khan is a lady' this one caught me off guard haha.
Btw for those who don't know who Imran khan is, hes the former prime Minister of Pakistan.
So greedy!
Manzoor is always so rude to Mehboob. He must tone it down.
They're just two old friends who love to rib each other, there's no mean-spirit to it.
Sambos is racist.
Not in Icelandic.
