These videos and website thecampersatlas.com.au/ started off in the early nineties as markers and scribblings on a giant map of Australia on my games room wall of all the best places in Australia to go and camp, fish and four wheel drive. After many years of practical research as well as reading four wheel drive magazines and watching every camping, fishing and four wheel driving TV show (it’s been a harrowing and arduous task); I recently realised that come the time my wife and I can leave the kids behind and head off on a trip longer than a school holiday break; I’m either going to need a bloody big plastic sleeve to put the map in, or I’m going to have to drag myself kicking and screaming into the 21st century………
Though I haven’t been to every campground in Australia to video each one yet, I have done many in Western Australia and will continue until such time as I can do it full time and spend the rest of my life travelling the rest of Australia camping and videoing every campsite! Nice video tour for the site. What sort of camera and how you've mounted on the bonnet?
G'day, thanks for the kind words. The camera is a standard Go Pro using a go pro remote to start and stop recording attached to a Feiyutech WG2 gimbal with remote which is screwed into a Ram mount Freedom 360 tri suction cup base. Hope this helps. Cheers Gary

Hi Skye, I think I didn't get out because I did a few campgrounds that day. Your'e right should have though. My videoing is getting better these days and have MUCH better music now!
