Wow 🤣🤣 I would have hoped to see people commenting and saying that celebrities are out of touch with the rest of society. This man said that people who are let out of jail pre trial don’t commit crimes. I guess he hasn’t been watching the news lately or better yet he lives in a gated community where they pay for cops to protect them and their property. Maybe this is why he is saying stupidity.

I really appreciate this interview with John Legend. Back in 1989 I made dummy decision and I paid for what I did by the court system. Since then I’ve had a successful career in law enforcement and now in the private sector. I truly believe that everyone deserves a second chance in life to be successful regardless of their race or fortune. Thank You, Jen. ❤

Florida’s two most populous cities, Jacksonville and Miami, each had a homicide rate more than double New York City’s last year, even though both had Republican mayors. And there are ones that go the other way. It's being overly simplistic to have ur narrative.

Why are public schools not funded equally instead of by property taxes?
If that were the case, that would mean that poor kids would get the same quality education as rich kids and gee the Republicans can't have that can they?
In California the property taxes for education all go to a pool and are allotted fairly. The problem is that wealthy communities can make up short falls. It’s very sad that we don’t tax enough so that all are adequately funded.
They receive government funding which they spend recklessly and also tax WE property owners where I live on all real estate ownership whether we have children or not. I used to feel proud that I was contributing to my community until I saw all the waste. Now I do but not happily.

Our entire court system including civil and family court is in favor of the person with the most money. Family courts allow for far too much unethical, immoral tactics.
If you’re poor then you’re guilty until proven rich or innocent. This is our justice system.

As a Swede the whole notion of bail is just so - I don't know - weird. Either you are a threat to society or a flight risk etc and therefore need to be incarcerated pre-trial. Or you're not. How does a show of money make any difference in the matter? Nothing equal before the law about it...
Letting people back out onto the streets who there is evidence on for grave crimes while the investigation is being conducted is NOT safe for the community, neither logically nor in practice.

Im from the 80s. We had songs that United us. We are the world. Why dont they do a tour for humanity. For Democrats. If that is what they believe.
Why? Democrats have definitely been part of the problem and not part of the solution.
The bottom line is Jesus Christ started a brotherhood of his followers. All lands belong to our Heavenly Father. If you read the bible you should be able to tell that Christ is soon going to show his Kingship over all National groups, and God's 👑 Kingdom (Government) on earth wil be here after it has crushed all of mankind Governments. Daniel 2:44. That's the Good News christians preach & teach about today. They have continued the disciplemaking work.😮 Those that listen to his voice as the bible says in Matthew chapter 5 states: the meek shall inherent the earth. If you don't obey him, you will not receive this blessing. The signs are very clear now. Prophecies are being fulfilled such as 1 Timothy 3:1-5. People with those attitudes if they remain goats will not be here to enjoy the new Earth our God tells us about at Rev. 21:5 they have to be removed. But they can never say they were not warned by our merciful Heavenly Father.
Oh, one important prophecy has not happened yet: The man of lawlessness will show his ugly head and try to fool some. Christians are told to keep on the watch. Know the difference in truth and falsehood. That's why God had a Book written so we can tell the difference. Studied it. It all comes together from Genesis to Revelations.
