business persons usually have a sound philosophy when it comes to investments... they would not spend so much money on gifts and/or items that have low resale value or limited return on investment...
She's 23, so technically she has been legally liable of her actions for the last 5 years. So I think she should be included in the probe. Using/spending other people's money even if you weren't the one who allegedly stole (or illegally acquired it), is still a qualified THEFT.
By the way, tama na hindi lang mga Napoles ang sisihin. Dapat pati ang mga involved na mga officials, and the system itself.

I agree to those who observed that Jeane Napoles' character shows a newly rich girl attitude. The noble rich people I know are used to savvy lifestyle since they were kids and as they grow up, it seemed that having expensive things become ordinary to them; and needless to be flaunted. I pitty Jeane because, if she became at some point "mayabang" or "pa-cool" or wanna be SOCIAL CLIMBER, nakakahiya ngayon!

I know right? First the Napoles claimed their wealth were inherited from their parents and then later said they earned their fortune from their legit businesses. Pababago-bago lang ng sagot? Suspicious inconsistencies.

How hard is it to retrieve the tax returns of the family and family owned businesses? If I have access to the database, within an hour, na pull up ko na ang mga tax return nila maski na for the last 10 years! how frustrating......

I am a chinese with filipino backgroud. can tell from my name. In the place where i live, government officials, aka civil SERVANTS, are not allowed to own businesses. This is to avoid a civil servant to committing corruption. Instead, they are given I higher salary and better benefits. A separate government body is at work to check every government workers and private sectors. Philippines is a rich country without those corrupt officials. In china, death is the sentence for corruption.
So when can we round up the rest of the gang and throw them in jail to rot. Oh yeah we still have the Ampatuan case that's been going on for years worst case is they may spend time in jail and end up being pardoned by their own kind just like Erap.
