I’m really excited for a tropical aviary one of these days.
First thing I’m gonna do is work towards Tapejara and geostenburgia to make a tropical paradise
I hadn't even considered using decorations as landing platforms for the pterosaurs. I'm still a little disappointed how limited the aviaries and marine lagoons are in terms of interactivity, a rockery for the pterosaurs would have been great, but at least I can dodge one now thanks to you.
You are welcome. Yeah it's a big deal making it a lot more interactive. I got a bit mad too when they were just sitting on the viewing gallery lol
Things will hopefully get added over time, Evolution 1 from launch and Evolution 1 all the way too the final update has gone a long way and hopefully will have similar effects for the second game

Would be amazing of frontier can give us some landing platforms to place down in the aviaries, the lampposts work, but some sort of lading platfarm would be better. (just a pillar whit a disc on top would be enough).
They should add the one from Jurassic world alive

God, I think the Avairies are the best things added to the game.. And the Creatures are so good too! And You build the stuff outside for them to, Holy Crap, They are so much better than the Aquatic in my Opinion

I love this kind of content it makes me wanna play the game and thinking about the huge variety of Crietivity.
I'll be getting this game too. Steam charges NZ$76 for it. Also got Forza Horizon 5 premium edition (NZ$153 or AU$149). Halo Inifinite comes out next month. Love the Lagoon aquatic content.
u know i had the same thought about terraforming the aviary terrain and trying to find out more about it
and finaly i find ur video but after i watch it...aah man it's so dissapointing that we can't do much about it...
and also it's a shame that the flying reptil keep sitting on top of the viewing gallery and won't sit in the rock
at least make em able to sit on the rock it would be looks so cool
Yeah it's weird they won't sit on rocks.
@@Gibbons3457 i imagine it's difficult to program them to identify rocks as surfaces considering they can rotated 360 degrees on both axes. They'd probably have to add dedicated "perch" rocks which can only be rotated on the X axis.
Yeah or at least give couple of edges as landing spot and only if they are in the right angle they appear as landing spot for them

@@RudiRennkamel well the game has just launched and I'm sure frontier will maintain it and give us an update for the game since the animation still has a lot of bugs and that's what happened in the first jwe so....yeaa we just have to wait patiently i think
Would be really cool to see you try to also replicate enviroments the animals lived in the past. For example Geosternbergia(which is just a difrent species of pteranodon) and the games Pteranodon with the Geo as the male and Ptera of female in an exhibit that is like a rocky coast,say something similar to the opening of the Giant Of The Skies episode in WWD as their nesting colony. Or Dimorphodon in a forested dry enviroment,which it was able to traverse with its short wings tho it wasnt the best flier like most early pterosaurs.

The quetzalcoatlus but that is most likely for dlc
Istiodactylus would be a particularly good bean- he's a scavenging, vulture-like pterosaur with the face of a pelican, and a pretty hefty one at that, similar in size to Pteranodon.
Literally any azdarchid.

I wish there was a scaling feature that allowed you to increase the overall size of the aviary? Like using the scroll wheel as a size increased. So you can have one satisfying large enclosure

Hello I haven’t tried sandbox yet but have a question about it. When mixed eras is available, do I have the option of the metal cage style aviaries? Or is it glass only?
Glass only I think, but ive only played on Nublar 2015. So it might give you the metal aviary on 1993 Nublar
what is that reddish skin you used on that Geosternbergea? and how do you unlock it?
Do they actually perch on rocks or do you have to place the decorations down?
Atm you have to put them down in a clever spot unfortunately

God the creation tools look like such crap in this game. It really is just the first one with a new coat of paint.
