- Today I'm reviewing the ONE PLUS 10 PRO after 3 MONTHS! We won't be getting into the technical specs TOO much and instead focus on the daily use experiences! Although there is a LOT to love about the ONE PLUS 10 PRO, there are some standout issues with the device that make it a VERY bad purchase decision for some people!

Just got the OnePlus 10 pro from BEST buy for 478 open box, love this phone super smooth, face ID and FPS always works, just updated to Android 13 and love the COLOR OS features, don't know why this phone doesn't get the same shine as iPhones, Samsung and Google
Everything is great except they said it get broke easily right?
I don't understand how he says it gets broke eas? I had one plus seven pro McLaren that never cracked and I had it for 4 or 5 years.
So true I've had three one plus 7 pro and trust me I love one plus phones
I had the 7 pro for 3 years until it fell to the toilet. Beat phone I ever had. Was contemplating buying it second hand for a few weeks, then decided it's too risky battery and inner parts wise. If the 10 pro is as good, I don't care about price depreciation, I'll hold it till it dies.
Its a solid device and won't let oneplus fans down!
I am still using 2018 op 7 pro and I can say today also I get complement people ask which phone is this
Only thing is battery issues otherwise 7 pro is still one of the best phone
the oneplus 7 pro is the ONLY phone i have ever bought TWICE and not because my first one broke. i bought a second one to preserve my first one. that should tell you all you need to know about the oneplus 7 pro. and currently watching this video on the oneplus 7 pro.
It's no more oxygen buddy. Its oppo now lol. So don't expect the same!
@@shashwatmishra5261 Hmm get a new battery or a upgrade
Watching this for my 10 pro I love the power especially the camera and the fast charging ❤️
Loved your video!
However I need your take as a OnePlus 10pro user in case your handset is also too noisy while taking videos....... please do tell
Its kinda worrying me that my handset is defective or something.
I absolutely love your reviews! No specs, no comparison between number of pixels, or number of cameras or benchmarks... just the user experience which is really what matters for the end user. Just keep doing it! Greetings from Portugal 😉
Ty so much!!!!
i agree
@@ChilledFossilofficial with a little bit of slipping and face smashing avoidance techniques :-P
I hope this helps with your research project
Very good review! Detailded. I just bought my 10 pro and I'm waiting for it to arrive. But I have the oneplus 5t and I love it.
It's interesting to hear you complain about the SO because it's one of the things that I like most, at least in the 5T. But before this phone I had a samsun galaxy S5 and, for me, then, the SO was terrible... A lot of garbage that I couldn't get rid of... It was really slow... Used to bug all the time... Anyway... Thanks for the review. I hope I'll like my 10 pro as much as I like my 5T
Thanks for the review. Given the black friday/cyber monday deals, I'm on the fence between the s22+ and the 10 Pro. Do you have a recommendation? I've used a number of different phones over the years, but my latest was the S10 lite.
Omg
Same here I'm using s10 lite and I'm between s22 plus and oneplus 10 pro
@@A1miqdad the one plus is a very nice phone and the resolution is amazing
I just Subscribed for your good Review 👍
Very good review. ♥️ User experience helps much more than specs, which can easily be looked up and compared with other phones.
Watched this on my OP 7 pro. Ordered the 10 pro white edition at Trading Shenzen. Looking forward to receiving it. 🙂
did it arrive you? Are you pleasure?
Yes it did and I'm very pleased with the phone. Except that there's not much of Oxygen OS left, it's basically Oppo Color OS now.
Nice review, you are correct about the depreciation factor on the 10 pro. Prices vary however the price for this phone model is high considering the 11 one plus is $799 with 16gb/256, though not a PRO.
Thanks, you have got a new sub. One question - I'm confused with S22+, OP 10 pro and Pixel 7. Which one would you recommend? My priorities are smooth software, good multitasking, practicality (like button placements, easy to hold) and battery life/charging. Camera is just secondary. And I don't play games.
If camera is secondary than definitely Google pixel 7 is at last place. S22 ultra second and OP 10pro first place..
I always enjoy watching your videos
Many thanks!!!
Excellent review dude...
as a full time user of the regular 9 i had very few complaints aside from it only having 128gb of storage, it getting kinda hot and it's battery life not being so great - but the charge speed made up for that for the most part. I happily used the phone for almost a year with it's perfect OS and overall performance, and it's handling was great with an Aramid Fiber case. i really liked the way the regular 8 felt in the hand with the spigen liquid air - the way that case fits around the slightly curved screen was superb but the 9 felt thick and chunky with the same case because it's screen is flat so it doesn't account for this, or gestures with case getting in the way on the side of the screen. The Aramid Fiber case fixed the issue of making the phone feel thick and didn't get in the way of gestures, but didn't prevent the screen from breaking when it slid of a table and happened to land face first - ouch.
then i picked up the 8/256gb 10 pro from wirelessplace for $650 and it's been great, addressing every issue I had with the 9: the slight curve works great with it's case making handling comfortable and allowing for easy gestures, it has ample storage, the battery easily lasts a full day, it doesn't get even really get warm, it has a big bright beautiful display - a great all around upgrade. The camera's are nice - not that I had any complaints with the 9's(which I also thought were pretty good) the overall performance is top notch and while the OS isn't perfect, I still recognize it and have zero problems with using it. It does have some small bugs but they are few and far between and have no impact or performance or usability, and as my only issue with the device it's easy to overlook as it gets better with every update, getting closer and closer to being "perfect."
What are the small bugs and software imperfections you found?
I'm trying to recall everything but all I can really remember is certain pages having weird stretched letters, nothing too crazy where a forced close of the problem app & reopen would usually fix the issue.
Does you phone makes noise too while taking videos???
Mine is too noisy that it's giving en stress....n its just a point anybody says in their videos as if it's only with my device that it happens 😭
Chilled Bhai...Love your review(s). Keep up the good work !
Bro great review. Earned a sub definitely.
I have one query. I am getting on sale the s22+(exchanging my OP7) for around 50k INR.
On the other hand, I am getting the OP 10 pro(with exchange of Op7) for around 47k INR.
Which one should I choose? Camera is not the ultimate priority for me.
For me a smooth software experience, good haptics, multitasking features and good battery life in the long run are the main primary things. Also would prefer as less overheating as possible when multitasking. Can you please help?
In all honesty both phones are very similar in performance but i personally prefer samsungs os for its integration across my other devices like the galaxy watch, earphones etc. and it has more support here in the US - AND samsung phones will hold their value MUCH better than OP phones. But i will say long run both phones are quite good its just the companies that back then are on different scales
@@ChilledFossilofficial Thank you so much ❤️. Would go with the s22+ then. Can sale it in the future for a good value.
@@sankarsondas1999 its a dad advice. Go for OnePlus 10 Pro. Some paid CZcams reviewers are giving wrong advice to go for samsung but OnePlus 10 Pro is just awesome phone. I purchased S22+ then sold and purchased OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus phones absolutely high in performance and good battery backup. He really given you a bad advice to go for S22+.
really i enjoyed it...i'm confused which is better, this phone or oppo find x3 pro, i kw that's 2021 phone, but i wonder what's best, camera, heating issues..tks a lot
hey Chilled Fossil as u have reviewed and used both S22+ and one plus 10 pro which is a better pick ?
I personally prefer the s22+ - it's got a flat display that I like, easier to hold due to flatter edges, better camera (preference) and I'm a fan of Samsung - for the 10pro the biggest issue I talked about is how it devalues here, so In 1 year I won't get any money for it when it's time to upgrade. I believe based only on specs alone that the 1p10pro is the better phone, I just prefer the samsung device.
I do really like When someone talk about the Real things in every day usages 👍
Which phone would you suggest me for best camera.
I'm getting op10pro for 62k inr, should I go for it?
I love the SuperVooc charge. It does affect battery life but you have to use it wisely. It's an all day battery and if you charge it while you're sleeping it will use optimized charging to prevent rapid battery degradation. It's good to know if I forgot to plug it in at night I can have a fully charged batter in the time it takes me to get ready and leave the house.
Wouldn't a good way to prolong battery life be to use wireless charging at night and wired charging whenever else you need it?
How’s is the camera? I keep finding bad reviews on an orange tint on the camera and video. Has that been patched?
Honestly, if depreciation is the biggest problem with this phone, it's gonna be my next phone for sure
Is it still worth buying tje oneplus 10 pro in 2023 its only 500 bucks
I lost my OP 9 last week and planning to buy a new phone this week, I was confused between OP 10 pro and Realme GT2 ME but thanks for the review I guess i'll stick with oneplus
I used my 7T for 33 months and still got over 40% of the value.
Not disappointed in that regard but the OS sucked. It was not getting any software upgrades or bug fixes expect security patches. It was launched with a pretty smooth Android 10 and got a sluggish mess in just 12- 14 months when Android 11 came and OnePlus never resolved any issue. This is the same story with my sister's 9RT. Up until Android 12 it worked fine. But with Android 13 upgrade performance took a hit and animations are very sluggish.
Edit: I guess if OnePlus keeps this trend of not improving older phones software experience, I think, the day of doom for them is not far.
Btw I'm newer sub to this channel. Wish you all the very best brother. ❤️
Hi I'm using op 7t for last 3years I'm going to upgrade my Mobile I have choosen two devices please suggest which is good
1. Op 10 pro
2. S22ultra
Which is best one please tell me bro
It's probably just your phone.
I have the 10pro and 10T and neither of them are hard to volume up or down. The buttons are a bit more edgy than other devices yes.
And agree that curved screen phones are cool to look at but a pain in use.
If you have a case on your phone it's not bad. For me, ALL phones today are to slick, thin and too light.
Charging and hot battery.
I'm old enough to remember when there was no such thing as a cell phone. When these things started their Achilles heel was the battery.
All CPs did was make calls. They couldn't text. That came later.
One thing we learned early on was a slow charge lasted longer and was better for battery health.
Then many years later companies said you can rapid charge and xyz and it won't hurt your phone.
What I heard was, charging faster will destroy your battery so you can pay us to replace it or you buy a new phone. Either way they win and you don't.
The 10pro/T have long lasting batteries and unless you just run the hell out of your phone through the day. You should be fine from sun up to sun down and slowly charge while you sleep.
The UI on the Pro/T are what I like about this phone. I am a iphone user. Only bought these two devices to see how far android has come. This UI is a blessing to anyone coming from iOS to Android. They will feel more at home on this UI than stock for sure.
I despise ALL Samsung phones and tablets.
since using black shark 1 n 4 before upgrading to one plus 10 pro feels a lot difference in ui n fast updates on android but voox charge cant compete with bs4 anythin else its a superb phone..got jackpot for only 120 dollars secondhand phone with alittle crack on screen 😅
I've had my one plus 7 pro 2.5 years and I love it. It runs like a champ and it rarely gets buggy. I can run it 2 weeks without turning it off. Battery is pretty good overall. I want to upgrade my phone but really don't need to at all. I've been using one plus since the op3t. I might buy the s22 ultra. Not sure though.
Let's be real apart from camera and wireless charging op 7 and 7t series is still a great phone.A fellow op7t user here
Great trade in bonus from OP on the 7Pro right now. Just ordered my 10 Pro with the big trade in and Black Friday special.
Just got a flawless emeralg green 10 pro and I think it's a fantastic phone. To be honest, i got it as something to trade towards the 12 when it gets released but am really enjoying it in the meantime
Is it better than the galaxy s10?
I have a massive issue with the crazy smoothing with faces and stuff. Photos are not great at all. Also too much warmth in the pics. I miss my oneplus 7 pro.
Well I think I'll buy the 10 pro I hate that it's still the same price you pay for last year I don't game until a lot of stuff so I think the OS will be fine for me I just don't like the depreciation value of it but I plan on keeping it so I guess that shouldn't matter I'm like my other lady I'm going to keep it to a dice thank you this was very good very clear understanding of of the phone
hey bro i just want to ask, what you would recommend to me? oneplus 10 pro or lenovo legion Y90?
Go for 10 pro I'm using It's fantastic
You can currently get the OnePlus 10 Pro for $500 straight from OP. At that price, I don't think it can depreciate enough to not be worth it eh?
Your issue with the trade in value is the EXACT reason why I'm considering an iPhone. My kids traded their iPhone 7's and 8's for 13's. I've had my OP 6T for 3 years. I think it's best phone I've ever owned and it's still running strong, but I can't get more than $20 for it for any trade in. Lol!!!
Exactlyy it!!! Sadly I only realized after I had purchased and decided to sell, hoping this helps others realize before it's too late!
@@ChilledFossilofficial lol!!! Too funny. Yours is the only vid I've seen that mentioned that. I only realized it when I got my kids their 13's last November. The sales agent was hesitant to see what my phone qualified for. Lol!! It was only worth trade in's for the lower models like the Nord....forget about any of the recent flagship models. I really love the OnePlus phones and it seems many out there do as well. But if one is able to trade up for recent phones without having to pay $1000 each time, you might have to consider where your loyalties and priorities stand. Thanks for always putting up great vids.
ty!
Looks like Iphones from hardware perspective are in no way close to onePlus. Bur since there are too many dumb people out there, they are ready to pay a price for that.
😂 😂 😂 $20
Really thinking about this phone. Always loved Samsung but have broken every one I've had. Then got a KYOCERA which is unbreakable, but it sucks in every other way.
If I can but a bomb proof case for one of these or for a Samsung, then I'll go with those. Samsung seems to be going backwards tho, so I'm really looking at the OP. Thanks for the review!
i upgraded from the oneplus 6 to this and what i dont like about these new phones is how heavy they are, i dropped the 10 pro on my face and it hit my lip which caused my lip to bleed and get swollen ( the charging heat issue is a issue i thankfully didnt have but if i put if on a fluffy surface like a blanket it will heat up )
6:37 Normal applications on Android cannot work in the background. They are stopped. Any background work application is scheduling using system API and it has got MANY limitations. You 4 tabs in Chrom in background adr doing nothing when you are playing NFS.
Heyy Chilled Fossil,
I would really like to know your take on this. I can get both phones at the same price, which do I pick?
Oneplus 10 Pro
Or
Realme GT Neo 3
Priorities in order:
1) Battery Life
2) Performance
3) Display
4) Camera
5) Durability (IP, Gorrila Glass)
THANKSSS
Damn the realme is a gorgeous device but if both are the same price id probably go realme if i kept the phone for 1-2 years. If i want to keep it longer then oneplus. It has to do with very limited android updates on realmi and limited support
@@ChilledFossilofficial Do these Chinese Smart phones have any personal info stolen Or mishandled By these Chinese phone company ❓❓
I have the OnePlus 8T from T-Mobile and I got to say goes down to 1%. I charged it the other day for 23 minutes. One up to 98% fastest charging battery ever in the battery does last forever. That was the only probe that phone. It was a good phone but I didn't really care for the camera but the charging was the best I've ever seen
Im a guitarist and the thing withg being a guitarist is that youre fingers gett hard after a while so thge volyme button thingy probably wonm't bother me to mutch
I replaced one plus 6t bought in nov 2018. Volume up Rocker got damage and power button to be failed soon.
Bought at $450 and got replacement value at $200 after 4 yrs usage. It was getting hotter but manageable for 2ndry device. These days don't change phones before 3yrs as there is no significant innovative and value for price.
I have OP 10 Pro before this I just lost my OP 9 Pro in the river. So here I can say that OP 9 Pro was much much better than 10 Pro. It is may be the Android 12 which is affecting performance of 10 pro or something else. But tbh looks wise 10 Pro gonna smash each and every single phone this year.
I just purchased this phone coming from an aging S20 phone that no longer holds its charge. Picked it up open box for $350. Looking forward to using it. I tried my wifes iphone13 pro..hated how the phone kinda digs into the palm and lack of customization
Bargain price
The back and front of my phone shattered all on it's own. I have no idea how 💔
OnePlus pro 10 vs s23+ !! Which one is a better buy?
S23+ imo
One plus 7 pro is still the best android phone ever. The display is just amazing. And no camera holes or notches. I use my iPhone 14 pro max everyday and my OnePlus 7 pro for my work phone.
Great video.
From the future
Just bought the OP 10 Pro for $659 here in Denmark.
My old Phone OP Nord 2 5G I bought for $264 on sale in 21. It costs $352 now. Weird world.
Which one should me buy op 10 pro or op 10t?
Please don't get a OnePlus the software is still trash also on ColorOS 12.1/13 and my OnePlus 10 Pro gets easy hot and saying can't play or take photos cause it's too hot can be an issue on my phone but it's overheating and that sucks
@@Lxst2Dope don't have that issue and the android 13 overlay is sick ngl
well if u have the volume problems, and its hard to press, I think its more of a cover problem then a phone problem, I mean bought 1o pro like 10 days ago and I have the official cover of the phone from the market, and its perfect.
( got mine is in 400$ ( 12/256 black)
oneplus shelf was on oxygen os. oneplus widgets? you mean the clock? lol thats nitpicking. it still feel like stock to me
It's close to stock but they are adding more new "things" every year - that wasn't the big issue though took about 5-10 mins to disable it all. Aside from the shelf and redwire club signup notifications i kept getting every 5 minutes - goes to show that overall its a great device under 1k....atleast until u want to upgrade
I heard there are overheating issues with the oneplus9 series. Did those get resolved? Have any heating issues surfaced for the oneplus 10 phones.
In general, would you recommend the s21+ or s22+ over the oneplus phones?
I heard that too, and I have had my OnePlus 9 overheat a couple times in the year I've had it. With the way the reviews talked about it, I thought it would happen a lot, at least once a week. But it's happened maybe 5 times total in a year and I'm on my phone around 8 hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less and I never close my apps, so they are always in the background.
No issues.
I've had issues with the 10 pro heating up
Which one should me buy op 10 pro or op 10t? I love gaming nd camera
if you got the money, 10pro
@@yeellinu4900 what? everyone else has said 10t for gaming.

is it good for gaming or not?
It IS good for gaming! Just put a case on it - the curved display makes it a bit hard to hold/control.
got one for £599, depreciation is a game changer.
I’ve had my 10 pro for 5 months now and is a good phone does everything I want and for £300/£400 less than Samsung and iPhones but your saying about their value after 6 months or more is bad that because everyone wants iPhones or Samsung phone that why they hold their price better than oneplus and many other phones
I guess I could buy this phone for the 300 $ since I don't have the latest phone the minute it comes out. Sounds like a good thing for a person like me.

Okay everybody I also have had the OnePlus Pro 7 T McLaren which was an outstanding phone I've had the OnePlus Nord the original I've had the Motorola I believe A1 I'm not too sure but very nice takes very good pictures for the camera a little cheaper than the one plus seven when it came out was about six something and it was polish and pain in the back of the McLaren and it had the case for the steering wheel material with me out of and I believe it was my IP 92 I'm correct that means it falls in the water to get through time to use it so then destroy the phone which roughly is between five and half an hour all depending now I got the one plus pro 10 have had it for about a year 11's already out or is coming out there's leaks all over you can find it this phone is wonderful it's great takes the best picture I think I did a lot of reviews from any phone you can think that's out there that's supposed to be the best cuz everything is competition like the 22 off so the iPhone your camera software is pretty good you know certain things are awesome things are on but they're damn near neck and neck also, it was extremely fast some of the options took me a little bit to get used to it's got gorilla Glass I believe five on the back still on the front I'm not too sure but I did drop it several times with a case in the back it did crack just a tad bit but I mean it had to take a lot of droppings, I customized it pretty much did my own programming on here got rid of the blower some of it it's got a lot of good security features, it's got a lot more features to play with from the nine the eight I always thought the seven was literally hands down one of my favorite phones by McLaren ever made of course there was some faults but they remodeling regimes a lot of things on here, extremely good for gaming, 5G you see I believe I had at one point I'm in San Francisco California so they're a little behind which I don't understand because this is like tech world of the industry world which means everything here is new tech this tech that, yes I've got a lot of good shots on here there's a lot of other options I fooled with and got to play with what you're enjoyable so have fun enjoy American version thanks
my OnePlus 7t on android 10 an agile beast for me. on android 11 it was slowly becoming worse on performance and noticable decrease in battery life. im love oneplus purely on its minimalist OS and speed/agile OS, purely user experience stuff. camera is below average . i sideload GCam and Nova Launcher and this 7t is a perfect phone for me. 2022 is not a good year for OnePlus expecially for my 7T the bugs on updates and the new oppo os is the worst.
Thankfully i switch to S22 Ultra about 2 months ago. mutitask, multi windows, above average camera, customization, screen and whole other stuff.
I still sideload Gcam on S22U though. lol. i love the natural pro quality of Gcam always.
Bixby Routines is a killer plus GoodLock
And how about the battery life? How long does it last on average day usage?
I used to notice that Samsung needs to be changed every 2- 3 years max.
But my 6t one plus is over 5 years now and still all great
@@user-xu4zz4wc8o S22 Ultra snapdragon that i use, battery is not that great even at 5000mah. i get 7 to 8 screen on time. if i regularly play games or doing picture editing after one time full charge , it will just last around 5 to 6 if not mistaken.

I can't believe that's all you got is very subjective during your review after 3 full month without any deep digging in the device processing itself.
How is the apps switch, forward, back, navigation gestures etc
With QHD+ resolution ?
Is it laggy, glitchy ?
I find iPhone to be extremely butter smooth in these navigation gestures..
Honestly unless it's really bad or laggy i won't pickup on it. And that's the case here. I do use gesture navigation exclusively and haven't had any outstanding issues.
Koi Issue nahin hai Srivastavji
When Samsung users try to understand OnePlus this whole review can be thrown into the bin.
FYI: OnePlus 9 pro had a curved display, Fast charging (65w) is not that bad for this device sice the battery has separated two parts.
Good Review bro. Do some research you will be on the top soo. All the best.
