These two have been friends since they were like 8, which gives them a strong relationship. If they date and something goes wrong, it could end up ruining that relationship. That's why usually if a person has a crush on their best friend, they don't act on it, because they rather have the person in their life as a friend then have that person leave their life on bad terms.
