  • The vibrant Harry Needle 37607 on hire to Colas Rail is currently completing driver training in the South West based out of Exeter. In the short few days since arriving in Devon it’s already made it’s presence known, becoming the rescue locomotive for a failed China Clay last weekend at Dawlish Warren, where it dragged the consist back to Exeter Riverside Yard, certainly the first time a 37 has worked the China Clay since the early 2000’s!
Today we see the 37 light engine working the 0Z38 Exeter St David’s - Plymouth and return, which left and arrived back an hour early, retaking its spot in the bay platform sidings for more training runs this week.
