I just got home from school and was excited when I got home because my new throttle has arrived. Plugged it in and nothing happened and was so damn disappointed.. until you explained that the scooter might have issues with the brake, tested it and it WORKS!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH 😭😁
Thanks for mentioning that the exposed wiring shouldn't be touching other wires. My son's Zinc e scooter has an E1 and I inspected wiring which are frayed. I have taped them, reattached the wheel. I find it Still doesn't work. So now I feel I need to tape individual wires now and hoping it will work.

Hi, sorry to hear about your scooter problem. If your hand bar get stuck, you might have the bearing in the bar joints rotating part worn-out. Disassemble this part and check the bearing to see if it needs replacing. I hope this help you.
Hey Mike, I have a quick question! I own a Wolf King & I watched my girl try to plug in a charger that was completely wrong into the kings charging port. It sparked big time, made a loud pop & now the charging port is no longer usable on the King! Luckily there is another charging port to charge the King with! Well for two weeks the scooter was running fine & suddenly tonight the scooters front wheel motor quit working!? Not while I was riding it but when I went to ride the front wheel won’t turn now! Could that attempt at a charge that my girl attempted to accomplish be the reason that my front wheel is now not working...? Settings are all the same as they have been for the two weeks that t worked after that pop happened so it’s strange that suddenly the wheel is not turning now!?!?, please give me any idea or info that could help me out! Hi, sorry to hear that. Accident do happen so don't be hard on your small girl. The sparks that happened could caused a blown up mosfets or transistors in one of your controller's circuits board. I believe it's the reason one of the wheels namely the front one stopped working. All you need to do is carefully charge the scooter with the second port that is still working. Open the deck to access the controllers. There are two controllers inside your scooter. Each control one motor respectively. Trace the wires from the controllers and see which one goes to the front and swap it with the one that goes with the back motor. Connect everything carefully without closing the deck. Switch on the scooter and see if the front motor works now with different controller, if it does then you need to replace the controller that was originally connected to the front motor that you swapped with the one for the back motor. It is necessary that once the you replace the defective controller with a new one, you check and see if all your charging ports are working now. If one of your charging port not working, replace it as doing the controller works on the scooter to avoid going back to do it again to save you time and stress. I hope this helps you.

Hey mike, I have a FLJ 1200W 48V Electric Scooter. it has trouble staying on sometimes but the main issue is that it doesnt accelerate. It doesnt show a ! on the screen, the lights, horn and one of the breaks works fine but it doesnt accelerate at all.
Ho sorry to hear that. It's two things here, either your controller is broken or your brake sensor wires are faulty. Use my advice brake sensor wire video to disconnect the brake sensors and see if it works. If not then you need to replace your controller. Hope this help you.

To be honest, there are several similar scooters so not sure what set up they have. I bought mine from South Korea and they named it on their website Ultra G. Its quite reliable compared to other similar ones I came across, especially the Chinese one. I have so far done 4048 miles on it and it's still powerful and going.

T112 I removed springs and solid angle channel solid now before the wheel separated and fell off when lifting over curb so be careful also welded front plate under folding neck plus right handlebar broke cheap aluminum welded and packed it full of JB weld ears don’t turn down now but it’s safe I welded every shock brackets and welded on swing arm a cooller bushing so the thin metal would not cut through swing arm 12 inch bolt and the urethane diameter in front I got larger diameter

Mine just died on me about 7 miles in to a ride. motor started groaning and losing power then eventually stopped. I walked home after 15mins it worked again so did it just get too hot and cut out? There wasn't any symbols on my display no error codes.

Hi, I have heard your concerns. The speed usually stated by the scooter manufacturer is the factory tested speed without weight. Have you actually rode 25kph speed with your scooter ? If you did, then you need to check your speed program in the P settings on your display. Make sure it’s set to the highest speed. Also make sure you voltage settings in the P settings is the correct of if your scooter. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems. You have to check first if your wires around the scooter and inside to see if they are not loose and not having correctly contact. If all is ok then you need to replace your scooter’s controller. I hope this help you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Mostly if you ride your scooter completely empty with the battery charge level showing on the Scooter’s battery gauge, it will shut off itself to avoid battery damage. Most scooters have battery protection circuits that cut off power when the battery power level near danger zone by completely riding out all the charge. Charge your scooter to full charge and take it for a ride and keep your eyes on the battery gauge. If you still have more battery charge level showing and the scooter cut off the you need to check you Scooter’s P settings for battery settings and set it to the correct voltage and correct cut off value when your battery completely runs out. This should help you restore it. If your scooter is very old and many mileage, it might be your battery is not holding charge and needs replacement. I hope this helps you.
@@MoToxicity does the scooter have a remote key off/on for anti theft lockdown ? If so then you need to press the lock button to see if the scooter lock. Press the unlock button to unlock it and now press the power button on the remote and you should hear a beep sound. Turn on the scooter now and see if it works. If the scooter doesn’t have a remote key lock system, then you definitely need to check your controller and the on/off display system of your scooter.
@@michaelmilenamg Yes it has a remote alarm but I don't see why it would have went off while riding, and also when it went off it wouldn't come back on at all no matter what i done with the remote or the lcd screen
@@MoToxicity the reason why it can go off completely when riding is if you accidentally press the lock button on the key, either without knowing in your or other. It happened to me once. Your situation needs a very careful examination of all the wiring outside your scooter and inside to ensure there is no loose wires due to vibration over time or damaged wires elsewhere. Try this examination and if successful with every wire still well connected and the problem persist, then the other option is to change the display and the controller. Both these two units most often fails and cause a lot of issues.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems. The doctor is here to help. Firstly if it turns on but goes off after few minutes then your battery is either low on voltage or not holding voltage charged. Charge the scooter till it’s fully charged. Turn on the scooter again and if it goes off again just after few minutes from fully charged battery then you need to replace your battery. Bro that's exactly what happened , my mudguard came off the wires, I taped but a few where abit exposed further down the wire, this happened about 2 weeks ago, and now my escooter keeps shutting off randomly, I've retyped the wires, today I rode for about 20mins and got a e6 error code , also a few days ago it done this but with a e10 code , when it turns off it won't turn back on until I connect it to a charger, when I connect to the charger it comes back on straight away with full charge, I got the s866 display , any advice

Sorry to hear this. Check your charger to ensure it’s not broken. Check your charging port on the scooter to see that it’s not loose or burned. If the outside physical examination is ok then you need to open the deck of your scooter to check the battery wires to the charging port for any damage. I hope this helps you.
Hmm... maybe...my electric scooter is supposed to be charged at about 35 watts. The charger that i have is around 40. Could that burn the port/overcharge it?
Hi, if you’ve ridden your scooter recently or some times in the rain or water gets inside the brake light, it can cause it to blink or completely stopped working. You need to allow the brake light sometime to completely dried and it will work again. If not you need to open your scooter and replace the brake light if you still want it on your he scooter or disconnect it if you don’t want it and the blinking will stop.
My problem is that my scooter shuts off when I go flying downhill, especially on large bridges. If I’m in third gear just tap my brakes for control going downhill. What is the correct way to use gears going downhill on an electric scooter. My Joyor y9 goes 28mph for 50.9 mile range. Thanks 🙏
Hi, you can ride your scooter in any gear depending on what speed and power you want. Scooter motors are rated for example 1600W. This is the peak power of that motor at fresh start with full battery, scooter motors designed and connected in a way that you don’t reach the operating power rate of that motor for a longer period. Otherwise, the continuous peak power can burn the coils of the motors causing it to fail. Going downhills already generate centrifugal rotational force within the motor without electrical power, and when you press the accelerator to induce current flow with voltage, you motor reaches peak power and the controllers will shut it down to prevent coils burn which caused your scooter to shut off. Going downhills, try to go free rolling till the scooter starts to slow down then accelerate with power.

Final question, please: free falling without my hand on the throttle down the large city bridge at 30mph in heavy traffic is the only thing that’s killed my scooter, twice. I left it in 3rd because I thought being in 2nd gear going down a steep bridge would strip the gear.
@@ruestjacques Hi, I am glad you understand physics. Going downhill at a speed more than you motor can produce, you shouldn’t press the accelerator. As explained before, each motor has maximum power output and if you are already at this maximum power of the motor going downhill freely and use the accelerator, you might end up burning the coils windings. You scooter protection system in the controller is the one cutting the scooter off each time you surpassed the the maximum handling capacity of that motor. If you were to be in second gear and the speed is less than the rated speed of third gear, your scooter should not cut off and still works. I hope with your knowledge in physics, you understand it.

Hi, you need to check your voltage settings are correct in you P settings. Also how long have you had the scooter ? Batteries have life cycles and each time the battery went dead and you charge it, you loose one cycle and if more cycles are lost, your battery will not perform well and you will need to replace it.
It’s a long shot but I have this issue, I had water damage and had to replace the front motor and battery, the scooter powers back on but I have the same error code the lcd is functional and I have tried to snap the breaks to remove the error but still there, I have also tried to adjust the break sensor but it’s still not going. the scooter only shows the error when in dual motor mode or single but not both when I push the scooter the electric break starts without me pressing the break

Hi, I think your scooter went into protection mode. Use the key to lock and unlock the scooter and double press the sign that look like electrical symbol . You should hear a beep. After, turn on the scooter on button on the accelerator and it should come on. I hope this helps you.

Hi, yes you can fix your broken wires by carefully exposing each wires from the rubber coating and joining them together with the same colours from each side. Make sure you use insulation tape to tape around each joints to avoid bare wires touching each other which can blow electrical components or cause a fire to your scooter. After carefully joining each wire and taping them, your scooter should work again as usual. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. I think you having a hall sensor wire of the motor problem. You need to open the scooter as seen in my videos of opening. Remove the controller that connected to that motor and swap it with the second controller that connected to the other motor. Try it again and if the motor doesn’t turn with a different controller that works fine with the other motor, then you need to open that motor and work on it or change it if you can’t work on it. Hi, sorry about your problem. If your scooter have a cable brake system, then you need to check to be sure your brake adjustment is too tight to trigger the system. You need to adjust the brake adjustment to loosen it to see if the error goes away. If it does then your brake pads needs urgent replacement. If your scooter however uses the hydraulic brake system, you need to check your controller of your scooter and possibly change it. I hope this helps.

Gersi 1 send me a short video operating the scooter raised on something and let me see. It seems you having problem with the motor phase wires or the controller.
Gersi 1 . You need to open your scooter and look at the controller details and buy new controller of your he same details. You then need to replace the new controller with old one. Thus the first point. If you change the controller and the problem still there, you need to check your motor phase wires which are connected inside the motor. You also need to check and be sure your battery terminals are well connected and not loose before you start changing things on your scooter.
hey there mike, i had recently tried to fix a mechanical disc brake squeaking problem and i ended up unscrewing the part that allows the brake lever to push the brake pad against the disc. my main problem is that a spring along with a piece of rubber ended up falling out of it and i can’t seem to get it back on properly. how do i put it back together?
Hi, sorry to hear that. The brake system for many scooters are different. Some have hydraulic brake system with the brake discs and others have cable system also with the brake discs. I have no idea which one is yours but the only way I think you can get it back together is to look at the other tyre that still has the brake and the disc connected and use that as an example to get the one you fixing fixed. Hi, sorry to hear that. How old is your scooter. Your battery is not holding power. If you had the scooter for a while, time to change the battery. If you had it not long, then faulty battery. Faulty battery may be due to few reasons. 1. Cheaper Chinese scooters with Chinese battery won’t last. 2. Letting your battery died completely before charging it can shorten the lifespan.
i recently switched my 2a charger to a 6a. it was working for 2 weeks then last night while charging it just stopped. now the charger light is green and the scooter wont accept a charge. i tried another charger same thing. i checked the port with a voltmeter it fluctuates and tops at 24 when its a 52v scooter. what can i do?
Hi, the amps charging current is usually controlled by the IC and resistors on the charger’s motherboard and the battery system which has a protection circuit board to protect the battery from damage. If you switch your charging current to high amps and your battery protection circuits is not designed for that, you can blow the circuit board which will result into not connecting supply to the battery when power is turned on. You need to check your battery set up to ensure you have not damaged the battery or if there is a protection circuit board with the battery. Big voltage and high amps scooters usually have battery protection circuit. Look for this and test the components on the board. Look visually for any signs of burn on the board. You may want to change that board if the problem persist.

If that is correct and your scooter still cut off at high so then your motor might be having a problem and it would need to be opened and checked. Hi sorry to hear that. There are three parts of your scooter that can break down or faulty and causing your scooter from working. The accelerator, the controller and the motor. Some scooter have error code system in the accelerator that display an error code when some parts becomes faulty. Check to see if there is any codes such as E0, E1 ...... to E10. Some scooters may display different code but the point here is to check if yours is showing any code each time you press the accelerator while power on. If no codes shows, then the only option is to check those three parts mentioned earlier with multimeter if you good at it but if not then you gonna have change those parts one by one to see which one is faulty or broken and replace it. Hi, the error 3 is usually the wired connected from your throttle body or the accelerator or the motor hall sensor. When they becomes loose or not properly in place can send this error code. Check and make sure your throttle body wires are good and connected properly from inside the unit. Check your not hall sensor wires to and thus should solve the error 3 problem you having. Hi, sorry to hear that. I will try to help you back on the road. First thing to check is if there is signs of water in your taillight. If you regularly ride in the rain, then you might be having water damage which happens to a lot of scooters out there. The good news for you is the scooter still turns on and only off when you hold either brake lever. This means your controller which is the heart of the scooter is still working. You need to investigate if there is any water ingress of any part of the scooter, especially the electrical parts. If you want to continue using the scooter then you need to remove the brake sensors from your brake levers to stop the sensors sending signals to the controller each time you hold the brake. This will also stop the controller sending power to your taillight. The only downside is your brake lights will not work anymore. If you ride a lot in the night or it bothers you, then you need to replace the brake sensors and the brake taillight. I hope this help you .
Hi, in your first message, I thought you said you scooter still runs unless you applied the brakes and it cut off and started smoking. If your scooter is completely coming on but not working and you disconnected the sensors cables completely, then you need a new controller in addition the the brake sensors and the taillight I mentioned earlier ik my last message. Hi, sorry to hear that. First of all check if your scooter have alarm system which comes with a key when you bought it. If so, connect the scooter with power source and press the unlock sign on the key then press the power sign on the key to disable the alarm . Try turning the scooter on again and the LCD should work. If your scooter does not have alarm system, make sure it is charged. Disconnect the LCD cable from the loop for 10mims to allow the conductors and resistors on the electric circuit board to discharge a bit. Connect the LCD wire back in the loop and try turning the scooter on. It should work. If this doesn’t work then your LCD is broken and need a replacement one. I hope this helps you.

Hi, I will try to help you. Does the scooter have alarm system. If it does, you need to lock the scooter with the alarm key and unlock it again. Once that done, you to press the power button on the alarm key and try to put your scooter on again, it should work this time.

Disconnect the sensors and see if the scooter works. If it does, then you either need to replace the sensors or keep them disconnected if you don’t want to replace them and keep using your scooter. The only downside is, you brake light will not show this time when you apply the brake. If your scooter doesn’t have a brake light, check well to see if there are no wires exposed touching each other. If everything is fine but still the scooter doesn’t work, then you definitely need a new controller. I hope this helps you. I have lots of videos on my channel about controller repair or replacement. Hi, I think you either experiencing a loose components on the screen motherboard caused by vibration over along period of time or simply having faulty screen. You need to open the unit and inspect the connections inside if you can do it or replace the whole screen unit if you can not repair it yourself. I hope this helps you.
Hi, sorry to hear about your S2 error 7. Error 7 is a motor failure so you need to perform a motor test on your scooter motor wires. If you are good with electrical, you need to open the scooter and disconnect the motor from the controller and the battery. You need to open the motor itself and check all wires are securely connected without any loose or burn wires. You need to connect the motor alone to the battery by carefully checking the wires are connected to the right terminals. If the motor turns freely without any noises or hesitation, then you need a new controller. If the motor doesn’t turn on connected to battery power, you need new motor. You can get any parts of your scooter from your seller or the scooter manufacturer’s website.
Ok. Sometimes, it might be the sensor wire and you need to have good electrical knowledge to be able to solder it back. I suggest you change the whole throttle and also bear in mind that faulty controller can also send error code.

Most often, the transistors on the circuit board can get very heated and blown up or cracked. If you are good with electric knowledge, use the multimeter to check the readings of those transistors. If you not good with electric knowledge, simply replace your controller with acne one and it should work again. To test if your motor is fine, manually turn the wheel that has the motor with your hand and it should spin freely with very little resistance. If you turn it and it’s hard to turn, then your motor has a fault and needs replacement or repair. I hope this helps you.

Does anyone know why my scooter won’t turn on? I have a hover-1 Blackhawk, it didn’t turn on a couple of times with a full battery each time I had to keep trying over and over until it turned on. Rode it downtown yesterday for about 3 hours got home charged it over night well I woke up and saw it was green so I took it off but all today it wouldn’t turn on. Put it back on the charger it was red for 5 mins then green, took it off and still nothing. Really wanted to ride with my daughter
I have a problem, my scooter won’t power on, it had low battery before it died but, when went to go home to recharge it did. Then the next day on my way too work it cut off. I charged it again 2 blocks down, it cut off again. The charger says it charged . But when I unplug from charger it drains while it’s still on or if I cut it on it will flash a error code 06 then cut off
Hi, sorry to hear that. I will try to give you best advice. First, I need to know your scooter make. Many scooters have different set up. In my experience, if the battery is charging but not holding power then it needs replacement. Sometimes it could be faulty controller so send me a small video of your scooter and the error showing.

@@mrposer8599 Does it shows charging when connected to the charger ? Sometimes the charging unit might not be having the correct contact and your battery might not be charging properly.
Hi, sorry to hear that. You need to check your sensor wire is not loose close the the brake lever. Try to remove the sensor wire from the brake lever. Clean it and put it back and tighten it well. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. From what you said. It looks like there is a bridge in your scooter wiring system, sometimes caused heated cables touching each other or when people had an accident with the scooter and the wiring damaged. Check all your wiring you can see outside the scooter and the ones you can reach inside to see if there is any damage. Also check you ON/OFF switch is not damaged or stacked. If the switch is OFF and the scooter still moves means there is still connection between the switch terminals. After your checks, replace the switch and try again and let me know the results. If yes then you need to watch my sensor fault video here to get your scooter working again, but if not then you need a new controller or repair the one in your scooter. I hope this help you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. From what you said, you need to do three diagnoses. 1. If the end of the charger that connects to the scooter each time you charge it is not inserted well or damaged can cause your scooter not to charge. You said the charger is always green when connected to power supply, which mean either your scooter is not charging or fully charged. 2. The actual charging port on the scooter where you connect your charger could be damaged from outside or blown from inside with the connected wires from inside not connected anymore. In this case, the charger might be supplying power but the port might not be gaining this power to the battery to charge it. 3. The battery itself could be damaged depending on how long you’ve had the scooter or if there is any contributing factors from your side like accidents with scooter, wrong charging the scooter or water ingress causing damage to the battery. You should always beware that if your scooter has an alarm and has a physical turn off/on alarm key, each time you allowed the scooter battery to completely dead zero with not power, the battery has not power for the alarm so usually the alarm would engage by itself without you initiating it. You should make sure that while you charger is showing green light, you disengage the alarm and turn on the scooter and it should work if your scooter has an alarm system. If this is not the case, do the three checks that I have listed earlier to find out which part is faulty. I hope this helps you.

If your scooter had an impact due to a fallout accident, you need to check all connection to motor, controller and the throttle are still connected without any loose or broken parts. This should help you locate which part is sending the error fault code and get it repaired or changed.
@@r1trapo903 ok. Don’t worry about that yet. Try to disconnect your controller which is located under your deck where you stand on the scooter. You need to turn your scooter on it’s side and unscrew the screws under the scooter to open it . If you not good with electrical wiring, use a marker to mark how each wires on the controller are connected to other wires before disconnecting the controller and connecting it back to see if it reset the fault code.
Hi Emily, sorry to hear about your problem with your scooter. Error 003 or 03 is mostly associated with motor connection with the controller to the battery. Check that all wires from your Scooter’s motor is securely connect to the controller and the battery connections without any loose wires or broken wire. If the controller also failed can cause error 003 or 03 since the controller serves as the signaller to many oar of the the scooter. If no loose wires or broken wires found, you need to change your Scooter’s controller and it should work again. I hope this helps you.
Hi, some scooters that have alarm key or remote on/off key, if you allowed the battery to completely drained out, the scooter will go into protection mode to save the battery. Once your scooter is charged again and your charger showing full charge. You need to use that remote or alarm key to turn the scooter on before using the on/off button on the actual scooter screen. This will disengage the protection system and your scooter screen on again. I hope this helps you.
Question? I have Apollo Ghost and theres 2 charging ports. They recommend for fast charging 2, 5A fast chargers. Instead of buying 2 fast chargers I bought 1, 8A charger. Hi, yes it’s ok. The two port is for fast charging and using 2.5 is gonna charge faster than the 1.8 but also 1.8 prolong your battery life than the 2.5.

I bought the emmo kamen .. i. Dont feel that he was sellint me good bike i belive he sold it to knowint it was a lemon. He even said oh thst didnt work b4m. Said it sat on flooor fot a year unsold but yet selle 10 to 15 a week ! Since ive had it. As the battery dies i to 30 thr. 20 then 15 then 10 5 r 3 2 1 km a hour it couodnt lock i had alarm going off all the time andbthe bike shutting off onn me while riding it.. i finallly got it sent in to them. They fixed the lock mech. Changed the alarm never did anything about the km going down fast while ridint i cwnt ride it out ofbmy small townn it wont make it anywhere. The light doesnt work now i have no alarm or evennbturning signals. It was a new bike ive mwyv3 rode it 75 km since i biught it and i kmow he didnt even ride it they they would of seen the km go down as bat dies . It sucks to and idk how to fix it i shouldn't have to pay to fix it either. I bought a lemon !
Hi, I think you might have some lose or separated wires from the controller connected to your motor. Check and be sure all wire are still connected and I thus the case then you need to check your controller or motor. I hope this helps you.

This situation can be caused by a number of things like the motor failure, controller failure, accelerator failure or even mistakenly charging some P settings without notice.
Hi, it looks like you have a defective wiring or your instrument accelerator needs checking. Try to trace the wiring outside the scooter and see if everything is connected properly. If so, check the your LED screen is connected properly. You may need to open the scooter to check the internal connections but do the outside checks first.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Error E1 is usually associated with motor fault. It could be the hall sensor wires disconnected, loose or the actual not fault. If you good at electrical, open your motor and check the sensor wires and the coils of your motor as well. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Put your scooter to charge till the charger light shows full charge. If your scooter has an alarm key on/off, use it to Lock and unlock your scooter. Hi, if you’ve already changed the display and your scooter still doesn’t turn on/off and you sure you’ve pressed the power on button from your remote alarm key, then you need to change your controller of your scooter.
I just got home from school and was excited when I got home because my new throttle has arrived. Plugged it in and nothing happened and was so damn disappointed.. until you explained that the scooter might have issues with the brake, tested it and it WORKS!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH 😭😁
Thanks for mentioning that the exposed wiring shouldn't be touching other wires. My son's Zinc e scooter has an E1 and I inspected wiring which are frayed. I have taped them, reattached the wheel. I find it Still doesn't work. So now I feel I need to tape individual wires now and hoping it will work.

Hey Mike, I have a quick question! I own a Wolf King & I watched my girl try to plug in a charger that was completely wrong into the kings charging port. It sparked big time, made a loud pop & now the charging port is no longer usable on the King! Luckily there is another charging port to charge the King with! Well for two weeks the scooter was running fine & suddenly tonight the scooters front wheel motor quit working!? Not while I was riding it but when I went to ride the front wheel won’t turn now! Could that attempt at a charge that my girl attempted to accomplish be the reason that my front wheel is now not working...? Settings are all the same as they have been for the two weeks that t worked after that pop happened so it’s strange that suddenly the wheel is not turning now!?!?, please give me any idea or info that could help me out! Hi, sorry to hear that. Accident do happen so don't be hard on your small girl. The sparks that happened could caused a blown up mosfets or transistors in one of your controller's circuits board. I believe it's the reason one of the wheels namely the front one stopped working. All you need to do is carefully charge the scooter with the second port that is still working. Open the deck to access the controllers. There are two controllers inside your scooter. Each control one motor respectively. Trace the wires from the controllers and see which one goes to the front and swap it with the one that goes with the back motor. Connect everything carefully without closing the deck. Switch on the scooter and see if the front motor works now with different controller, if it does then you need to replace the controller that was originally connected to the front motor that you swapped with the one for the back motor. It is necessary that once the you replace the defective controller with a new one, you check and see if all your charging ports are working now. If one of your charging port not working, replace it as doing the controller works on the scooter to avoid going back to do it again to save you time and stress. I hope this helps you.

Hey mike, I have a FLJ 1200W 48V Electric Scooter. it has trouble staying on sometimes but the main issue is that it doesnt accelerate. It doesnt show a ! on the screen, the lights, horn and one of the breaks works fine but it doesnt accelerate at all.
Ho sorry to hear that. It's two things here, either your controller is broken or your brake sensor wires are faulty. Use my advice brake sensor wire video to disconnect the brake sensors and see if it works. If not then you need to replace your controller. Hope this help you.

To be honest, there are several similar scooters so not sure what set up they have. I bought mine from South Korea and they named it on their website Ultra G. Its quite reliable compared to other similar ones I came across, especially the Chinese one. I have so far done 4048 miles on it and it's still powerful and going.

T112 I also color coded the controller connection and cut off what you don’t use for neatness and space
T112 I removed springs and solid angle channel solid now before the wheel separated and fell off when lifting over curb so be careful also welded front plate under folding neck plus right handlebar broke cheap aluminum welded and packed it full of JB weld ears don’t turn down now but it’s safe I welded every shock brackets and welded on swing arm a cooller bushing so the thin metal would not cut through swing arm 12 inch bolt and the urethane diameter in front I got larger diameter

Mine just died on me about 7 miles in to a ride. motor started groaning and losing power then eventually stopped. I walked home after 15mins it worked again so did it just get too hot and cut out? There wasn't any symbols on my display no error codes.

Hi, I have heard your concerns. The speed usually stated by the scooter manufacturer is the factory tested speed without weight. Have you actually rode 25kph speed with your scooter ? If you did, then you need to check your speed program in the P settings on your display. Make sure it’s set to the highest speed. Also make sure you voltage settings in the P settings is the correct of if your scooter. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems. You have to check first if your wires around the scooter and inside to see if they are not loose and not having correctly contact. If all is ok then you need to replace your scooter’s controller.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Mostly if you ride your scooter completely empty with the battery charge level showing on the Scooter’s battery gauge, it will shut off itself to avoid battery damage. Most scooters have battery protection circuits that cut off power when the battery power level near danger zone by completely riding out all the charge. Charge your scooter to full charge and take it for a ride and keep your eyes on the battery gauge. If you still have more battery charge level showing and the scooter cut off the you need to check you Scooter’s P settings for battery settings and set it to the correct voltage and correct cut off value when your battery completely runs out. This should help you restore it. If your scooter is very old and many mileage, it might be your battery is not holding charge and needs replacement. I hope this helps you.

@@MoToxicity does the scooter have a remote key off/on for anti theft lockdown ? If so then you need to press the lock button to see if the scooter lock. Press the unlock button to unlock it and now press the power button on the remote and you should hear a beep sound. Turn on the scooter now and see if it works. If the scooter doesn’t have a remote key lock system, then you definitely need to check your controller and the on/off display system of your scooter.
@@michaelmilenamg Yes it has a remote alarm but I don't see why it would have went off while riding, and also when it went off it wouldn't come back on at all no matter what i done with the remote or the lcd screen
@@MoToxicity the reason why it can go off completely when riding is if you accidentally press the lock button on the key, either without knowing in your or other. It happened to me once. Your situation needs a very careful examination of all the wiring outside your scooter and inside to ensure there is no loose wires due to vibration over time or damaged wires elsewhere. Try this examination and if successful with every wire still well connected and the problem persist, then the other option is to change the display and the controller. Both these two units most often fails and cause a lot of issues.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems. The doctor is here to help. Firstly if it turns on but goes off after few minutes then your battery is either low on voltage or not holding voltage charged. Charge the scooter till it’s fully charged. Turn on the scooter again and if it goes off again just after few minutes from fully charged battery then you need to replace your battery. Bro that's exactly what happened , my mudguard came off the wires, I taped but a few where abit exposed further down the wire, this happened about 2 weeks ago, and now my escooter keeps shutting off randomly, I've retyped the wires, today I rode for about 20mins and got a e6 error code , also a few days ago it done this but with a e10 code , when it turns off it won't turn back on until I connect it to a charger, when I connect to the charger it comes back on straight away with full charge, I got the s866 display , any advice

Sorry to hear this. Check your charger to ensure it’s not broken. Check your charging port on the scooter to see that it’s not loose or burned. If the outside physical examination is ok then you need to open the deck of your scooter to check the battery wires to the charging port for any damage. I hope this helps you.
Hmm... maybe...my electric scooter is supposed to be charged at about 35 watts. The charger that i have is around 40. Could that burn the port/overcharge it?

Hi, if you’ve ridden your scooter recently or some times in the rain or water gets inside the brake light, it can cause it to blink or completely stopped working. You need to allow the brake light sometime to completely dried and it will work again. If not you need to open your scooter and replace the brake light if you still want it on your he scooter or disconnect it if you don’t want it and the blinking will stop.
My problem is that my scooter shuts off when I go flying downhill, especially on large bridges. If I’m in third gear just tap my brakes for control going downhill. What is the correct way to use gears going downhill on an electric scooter. My Joyor y9 goes 28mph for 50.9 mile range. Thanks 🙏
Hi, you can ride your scooter in any gear depending on what speed and power you want. Scooter motors are rated for example 1600W. This is the peak power of that motor at fresh start with full battery, scooter motors designed and connected in a way that you don’t reach the operating power rate of that motor for a longer period. Otherwise, the continuous peak power can burn the coils of the motors causing it to fail. Going downhills already generate centrifugal rotational force within the motor without electrical power, and when you press the accelerator to induce current flow with voltage, you motor reaches peak power and the controllers will shut it down to prevent coils burn which caused your scooter to shut off. Going downhills, try to go free rolling till the scooter starts to slow down then accelerate with power.

Final question, please: free falling without my hand on the throttle down the large city bridge at 30mph in heavy traffic is the only thing that’s killed my scooter, twice. I left it in 3rd because I thought being in 2nd gear going down a steep bridge would strip the gear.
@@ruestjacques Hi, I am glad you understand physics. Going downhill at a speed more than you motor can produce, you shouldn’t press the accelerator. As explained before, each motor has maximum power output and if you are already at this maximum power of the motor going downhill freely and use the accelerator, you might end up burning the coils windings. You scooter protection system in the controller is the one cutting the scooter off each time you surpassed the the maximum handling capacity of that motor. If you were to be in second gear and the speed is less than the rated speed of third gear, your scooter should not cut off and still works. I hope with your knowledge in physics, you understand it.

Hi, you need to check your voltage settings are correct in you P settings. Also how long have you had the scooter ? Batteries have life cycles and each time the battery went dead and you charge it, you loose one cycle and if more cycles are lost, your battery will not perform well and you will need to replace it.

It’s a long shot but I have this issue, I had water damage and had to replace the front motor and battery, the scooter powers back on but I have the same error code the lcd is functional and I have tried to snap the breaks to remove the error but still there, I have also tried to adjust the break sensor but it’s still not going. the scooter only shows the error when in dual motor mode or single but not both when I push the scooter the electric break starts without me pressing the break
Water damage can short circuit your controller board so you need to replace your controller too and you should be ok. I hope this help you.

Hi, I think your scooter went into protection mode. Use the key to lock and unlock the scooter and double press the sign that look like electrical symbol . You should hear a beep. After, turn on the scooter on button on the accelerator and it should come on. I hope this helps you.

Hi, yes you can fix your broken wires by carefully exposing each wires from the rubber coating and joining them together with the same colours from each side. Make sure you use insulation tape to tape around each joints to avoid bare wires touching each other which can blow electrical components or cause a fire to your scooter. After carefully joining each wire and taping them, your scooter should work again as usual. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. I think you having a hall sensor wire of the motor problem. You need to open the scooter as seen in my videos of opening. Remove the controller that connected to that motor and swap it with the second controller that connected to the other motor. Try it again and if the motor doesn’t turn with a different controller that works fine with the other motor, then you need to open that motor and work on it or change it if you can’t work on it. Hi, sorry about your problem. If your scooter have a cable brake system, then you need to check to be sure your brake adjustment is too tight to trigger the system. You need to adjust the brake adjustment to loosen it to see if the error goes away. If it does then your brake pads needs urgent replacement. If your scooter however uses the hydraulic brake system, you need to check your controller of your scooter and possibly change it. I hope this helps.

Gersi 1 . You need to open your scooter and look at the controller details and buy new controller of your he same details. You then need to replace the new controller with old one. Thus the first point. If you change the controller and the problem still there, you need to check your motor phase wires which are connected inside the motor. You also need to check and be sure your battery terminals are well connected and not loose before you start changing things on your scooter.
hey there mike, i had recently tried to fix a mechanical disc brake squeaking problem and i ended up unscrewing the part that allows the brake lever to push the brake pad against the disc.

Hi, sorry to hear that. The brake system for many scooters are different. Some have hydraulic brake system with the brake discs and others have cable system also with the brake discs. I have no idea which one is yours but the only way I think you can get it back together is to look at the other tyre that still has the brake and the disc connected and use that as an example to get the one you fixing fixed. Hi, sorry to hear that. How old is your scooter. Your battery is not holding power. If you had the scooter for a while, time to change the battery. If you had it not long, then faulty battery. Faulty battery may be due to few reasons.
1. Cheaper Chinese scooters with Chinese battery won’t last.
2. Letting your battery died completely before charging it can shorten the lifespan.
i recently switched my 2a charger to a 6a. it was working for 2 weeks then last night while charging it just stopped. now the charger light is green and the scooter wont accept a charge. i tried another charger same thing. i checked the port with a voltmeter it fluctuates and tops at 24 when its a 52v scooter. what can i do?
Hi, the amps charging current is usually controlled by the IC and resistors on the charger’s motherboard and the battery system which has a protection circuit board to protect the battery from damage. If you switch your charging current to high amps and your battery protection circuits is not designed for that, you can blow the circuit board which will result into not connecting supply to the battery when power is turned on. You need to check your battery set up to ensure you have not damaged the battery or if there is a protection circuit board with the battery. Big voltage and high amps scooters usually have battery protection circuit. Look for this and test the components on the board. Look visually for any signs of burn on the board. You may want to change that board if the problem persist.

Hi sorry to hear that. Check your voltage settings and be sure it’s on the correct maximum voltage. If that is correct and your scooter still cut off at high so then your motor might be having a problem and it would need to be opened and checked. Hi sorry to hear that. There are three parts of your scooter that can break down or faulty and causing your scooter from working. The accelerator, the controller and the motor. Some scooter have error code system in the accelerator that display an error code when some parts becomes faulty. Check to see if there is any codes such as E0, E1 ...... to E10. Some scooters may display different code but the point here is to check if yours is showing any code each time you press the accelerator while power on. If no codes shows, then the only option is to check those three parts mentioned earlier with multimeter if you good at it but if not then you gonna have change those parts one by one to see which one is faulty or broken and replace it. Hi, the error 3 is usually the wired connected from your throttle body or the accelerator or the motor hall sensor. When they becomes loose or not properly in place can send this error code. Check and make sure your throttle body wires are good and connected properly from inside the unit. Check your not hall sensor wires to and thus should solve the error 3 problem you having. Hello mate, any chance you can help me figure out whats wrong with my kugoo m4pro? On way home from work, braked and the scooter switch off, kept doing this every time i used either brake. Hi, sorry to hear that. I will try to help you back on the road. First thing to check is if there is signs of water in your taillight. If you regularly ride in the rain, then you might be having water damage which happens to a lot of scooters out there. The good news for you is the scooter still turns on and only off when you hold either brake lever. This means your controller which is the heart of the scooter is still working. You need to investigate if there is any water ingress of any part of the scooter, especially the electrical parts. If you want to continue using the scooter then you need to remove the brake sensors from your brake levers to stop the sensors sending signals to the controller each time you hold the brake. This will also stop the controller sending power to your taillight. The only downside is your brake lights will not work anymore. If you ride a lot in the night or it bothers you, then you need to replace the brake sensors and the brake taillight. I hope this help you .

Hi, in your first message, I thought you said you scooter still runs unless you applied the brakes and it cut off and started smoking. If your scooter is completely coming on but not working and you disconnected the sensors cables completely, then you need a new controller in addition the the brake sensors and the taillight I mentioned earlier ik my last message. Hi, sorry to hear that. First of all check if your scooter have alarm system which comes with a key when you bought it. If so, connect the scooter with power source and press the unlock sign on the key then press the power sign on the key to disable the alarm . Try turning the scooter on again and the LCD should work. If your scooter does not have alarm system, make sure it is charged. Disconnect the LCD cable from the loop for 10mims to allow the conductors and resistors on the electric circuit board to discharge a bit. Connect the LCD wire back in the loop and try turning the scooter on. It should work. If this doesn’t work then your LCD is broken and need a replacement one. I hope this helps you.

Ok. Firstly find out if your scooter has a brake light. This means if your scooter shows light each time you apply the brake. If it does, then you need to check the brake sensors. Disconnect the sensors and see if the scooter works. If it does, then you either need to replace the sensors or keep them disconnected if you don’t want to replace them and keep using your scooter. The only downside is, you brake light will not show this time when you apply the brake. If your scooter doesn’t have a brake light, check well to see if there are no wires exposed touching each other. If everything is fine but still the scooter doesn’t work, then you definitely need a new controller. I hope this helps you. I have lots of videos on my channel about controller repair or replacement. Follow the instructions and get your scooter fixed.

Hi, I think you either experiencing a loose components on the screen motherboard caused by vibration over along period of time or simply having faulty screen. Hi, sorry to hear about your S2 error 7. Error 7 is a motor failure so you need to perform a motor test on your scooter motor wires. If you are good with electrical, you need to open the scooter and disconnect the motor from the controller and the battery. You need to open the motor itself and check all wires are securely connected without any loose or burn wires. You need to connect the motor alone to the battery by carefully checking the wires are connected to the right terminals. If the motor turns freely without any noises or hesitation, then you need a new controller. If the motor doesn’t turn on connected to battery power, you need new motor. You can get any parts of your scooter from your seller or the scooter manufacturer’s website.

Hi, sorry to hear that. There are two things that can cause that, your Scooter’s controller and the motor. The easiest one is the controller. Most often, the transistors on the circuit board can get very heated and blown up or cracked. If you are good with electric knowledge, use the multimeter to check the readings of those transistors. If you not good with electric knowledge, simply replace your controller with acne one and it should work again. To test if your motor is fine, manually turn the wheel that has the motor with your hand and it should spin freely with very little resistance. If you turn it and it’s hard to turn, then your motor has a fault and needs replacement or repair.

Does anyone know why my scooter won’t turn on? I have a hover-1 Blackhawk, it didn’t turn on a couple of times with a full battery each time I had to keep trying over and over until it turned on. Rode it downtown yesterday for about 3 hours got home charged it over night well I woke up and saw it was green so I took it off but all today it wouldn’t turn on. Hi, sorry to hear that. I will try to give you best advice. First, I need to know your scooter make. Many scooters have different set up. In my experience, if the battery is charging but not holding power then it needs replacement. Sometimes it could be faulty controller so send me a small video of your scooter and the error showing.

It looks like there is a bridge in your scooter wiring system, sometimes caused heated cables touching each other or when people had an accident with the scooter and the wiring damaged. Check all your wiring you can see outside the scooter and the ones you can reach inside to see if there is any damage. Also check you ON/OFF switch is not damaged or stacked. If the switch is OFF and the scooter still moves means there is still connection between the switch terminals. After your checks, replace the switch and try again and let me know the results. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. From what you said, you need to do three diagnoses.
1. If the end of the charger that connects to the scooter each time you charge it is not inserted well or damaged can cause your scooter not to charge. You said the charger is always green when connected to power supply, which mean either your scooter is not charging or fully charged.
2. The actual charging port on the scooter where you connect your charger could be damaged from outside or blown from inside with the connected wires from inside not connected anymore. In this case, the charger might be supplying power but the port might not be gaining this power to the battery to charge it.
3. The battery itself could be damaged depending on how long you’ve had the scooter or if there is any contributing factors from your side like accidents with scooter, wrong charging the scooter or water ingress causing damage to the battery.
You should always beware that if your scooter has an alarm and has a physical turn off/on alarm key, each time you allowed the scooter battery to completely dead zero with not power, the battery has not power for the alarm so usually the alarm would engage by itself without you initiating it. You should make sure that while you charger is showing green light, you disengage the alarm and turn on the scooter and it should work if your scooter has an alarm system. If this is not the case, do the three checks that I have listed earlier to find out which part is faulty. I hope this helps you.

If your scooter had an impact due to a fallout accident, you need to check all connection to motor, controller and the throttle are still connected without any loose or broken parts. This should help you locate which part is sending the error fault code and get it repaired or changed.

@@r1trapo903 ok. Don’t worry about that yet. Try to disconnect your controller which is located under your deck where you stand on the scooter. You need to turn your scooter on it’s side and unscrew the screws under the scooter to open it . If you not good with electrical wiring, use a marker to mark how each wires on the controller are connected to other wires before disconnecting the controller and connecting it back to see if it reset the fault code.

Hi Emily, sorry to hear about your problem with your scooter. Error 003 or 03 is mostly associated with motor connection with the controller to the battery. Check that all wires from your Scooter’s motor is securely connect to the controller and the battery connections without any loose wires or broken wire. If the controller also failed can cause error 003 or 03 since the controller serves as the signaller to many oar of the the scooter. If no loose wires or broken wires found, you need to change your Scooter’s controller and it should work again. I hope this helps you.

Hi, some scooters that have alarm key or remote on/off key, if you allowed the battery to completely drained out, the scooter will go into protection mode to save the battery. Once your scooter is charged again and your charger showing full charge. You need to use that remote or alarm key to turn the scooter on before using the on/off button on the actual scooter screen. This will disengage the protection system and your scooter screen on again. I hope this helps you.

I bought the emmo kamen .. i. Dont feel that he was sellint me good bike i belive he sold it to knowint it was a lemon. He even said oh thst didnt work b4m. It was a new bike ive mwyv3 rode it 75 km since i biught it and i kmow he didnt even ride it they they would of seen the km go down as bat dies . Hi, it looks like you have a defective wiring or your instrument accelerator needs checking. Try to trace the wiring outside the scooter and see if everything is connected properly. If so, check the your LED screen is connected properly. You may need to open the scooter to check the internal connections but do the outside checks first.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Your accelerator needs looking at. If the scooter is charged and has power but not turning on or turned on but immediately off, your accelerator is bad and needs replacement. I hope this helps you.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Put your scooter to charge till the charger light shows full charge. If your scooter has an alarm key on/off, use it to Lock and unlock your scooter. Press the power button on the key and try switching the scooter on again. It should work but if not then you need to check your display parts. I hope this helps you.
