- I had to get out to the neighborhoods to see the Christmas lights before it was too late! It was cold out and my gloves were squeaky but it was still magical to me. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. Or at the very least, experience some of the magic that I did. There is a mini home tour at the end of the video. Come on inside.

I know this video is about a year old now but I always come back to it, I use to go around with my dad every Christmas to see the lights in the rich neighborhoods LOL. He passed away a few years ago and this video always brings me such peace and comfort. Thanks for what you do for us Rebecca! ^.^

This was so fun and festive, I’m super jealous of the area you live. My town has very little decoration outside its centre so driving around to look at lights is quite a task. This was a delightful experience!

I loved this one! I love your quaint little town! It is wonderful to see the Churches and the many homes remembering the true meaning of Christmas. (I do have a soft spot for Santa though) 😊 I enjoyed the sound of your gloves squeaking on the steering wheel. I am truly envious of your wintery weather! We are anticipating a VERY hot Christmas day boohooo The forecast is for 110 degrees! Yuck! At least we have a/c. We are extremely blessed just the same and we have so much to be thankful for. I am curious if western culture has influenced people in Australia to wish for a cold Christmas. I ask this because… when I was a child growing up in warm and sunny Southern California I always longed for a snowy Christmas with red Cardinals. Pictorials that I had seen from other places influenced me.
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction I am sure that it has. Along with the fact that the majority of Australians stem from British families. Also it is much more pleasant to cram a crowd of people around a table and to be roasting turkey and ham etc on a cold day. It is not so enjoyable to eat a hot, traditional Christmas dinner on a stinking hot day. Like you, I dream of a snowy Christmas with red cardinals and spectacularly decorated houses and streets. Over here, very few people can be bothered spending hours and hours decorating the outside of their homes. Given that the sun doesn't even fully set until 8.30 to 9.00pm, there is very little time to even appreciate the lights. However, as a Christian, I can still appreciate the singing of carols, the Church services, donating to the needy, spending extra special time with family and loved ones, time to reflect and to be thankful for surviving another year and on and on. None of the things that really matter are influenced by the weather and I am certain that you will agree 😊😘🤗

Mrs. Rebecca….I almost pulled up your video from last year where you drove around & looked at lights….then the one where you & your hubby walked in the snow. Then I saw this new one!! 😬. What better way to help get you in the Christmas spirit & relax while checking out the lights. Thank for taking us along. You know I’m always up for a car ride with you. There were some really pretty displays this year. Growing up every single neighbor put up Christmas lights on our dead dead road. I remember there was a family that moved in who did not believe in all of the Christmas traditions & were the only house who didn’t decorate. It seems like not as many people put up lights like they used to. Our family would load up in our full size van & my Dad drove us around neighborhoods to see lights. Back then almost every house was decorated. I’m thankful I grew up in the time period I did. The Goldberg’s was my life growing up. The Mom has a silver wallpaper with big flowers on it that my Mom had when my Dad built our house in 1975. Life was simple then. PS….Snoopy is my favorite. ♥️. Merry Christmas Rebecca. To you, your hubby, kiddos & grandchildren. Thank you for coming into my life & helping me. ♥️♥️♥️. Sometimes work & memories get stuck in my head. Your videos have become an escape for me. What a treat to go along with you looking at Christmas lights. 🎄I really loved the purple lights💜 and I fell asleep only a third of the way in. I'll save the video for Friday and I'll curl up with some hot cocoa and watch the entire video on my TV and with my kitty on my lap.

Such a fun and festive town you have! We have two large historic districts that I absolutely love driving through at Christmastime. In fact, I FINALLY get to drive down the major boulevard of one tonight on our way to dinner! I always tell my husband to slow down, haha. It's speed limit was recently lowered to 25 mph so that shouldn't be a problem for him this year. Loved all of your home decorations and trees. I M NOT WATCHING SNOW ON YOUR ROADS , HAS IT NOT SNOWED YET IN AMERICA AS WINTER IS AT ITS PEAK
Tennessee is considered the south. Relatively warm compared to the north. Our temperatures are about 35 to 50° right now. We will probably get snow once or twice this winter. And then it usually melts away. When I lived in Montana in the north it snowed eight months out of the year.
Oh dear I think people are loosing there Christmas spirit I for one am not as I could have died two years ago from a stroke I live everyday as if it was my last and now I have grandchild I’m livening my best life

I guess it is since I’ve been doing it for three years straight. It would be a different story if I was posting identifying addresses correlating with names or personal information. Houses are just out there. lol 😂 I guess we could build fences around our houses if we didn’t want to be seen.
