That is a great and simple build! Putting those side skirts will really prevent the table from bowing. 10/10
Just wanted to point out an error. The materials list says 2 1x10x8s and you really need 3 of them.
I built this this evening and it’s really sturdy. Took about 30 mins after the wood was cut. Letting the stain dry now then applying poly. Legs come in from Amazon in a couple days.

Beautiful desk, simple enough a novice like me is willing to try it but wondering how I can use mahogany slabs instead. Every time you tossed the rag I kept thinking that was a Salt Bae move!

Would it be easy to make this into an L shaped desk by making two desks one longer than the other?
I'm still waiting for you to screw something into the floor while putting things together I do love these 'simpler' projects, though.

No glue this time 👀 would it be safe to say that glue really isn’t all that important if you’re using screws ?
