I have questions about fridges: I have heard on some groups they don't work when you're driving. We are the family that travels far each day (getting from Oklahoma to the coasts to start our trip), and so the fridge will be in travel mode most of the day. What kind of fridge can keep your food cold while you're driving? Or do you just have to buy food every evening of your travel (seems a bit annoying, to do that)?
I really like the tub feature on this model, and the "hot flash mode" fan. :) Can you get them without carpet (we have pets)? Also, I didn't catch anything about towing - what size of truck does this need (dodge or chevy brand)?

Hi Heather - RV fridge's are very much designed to run going down the road. I am a big fan of the new 12v fridges (like the one in this unit) because they are larger, and work more like a regular residential fridge.
