This time I will be flying for the first time on Delta's Airbus A220-100 from Seattle to Chicago. I will show you the boarding process , onboard service, the Airbus A220-100 cabin and an amazing view from my seat.
Delta Air Lines is the largest operator of the Airbus A220 family in the United States. Flying a host of routes out of major hubs like New York, Detroit, and Salt Lake City, among others, the aircraft is making its way on more routes.
As the smallest jetliner in Airbus’ commercial aircraft product line, the A220-100, was built from the ground up to serve the 100-135 seat market with unbeatable efficiency and comfort. With broad seats, plenty of overhead storage space and large windows, this is a single-aisle aircraft that feels like a wide-body jet.

Very interesting seat configuration, I don’t see many planes with a three and two setup. Also, I notice crew are all wearing masks in the new safety video, makes me think Delta anticipates masks will be required for a long time. Thanks for sharing!

This route seems a bit busy for an a220-100. They probably figured this out, because they’re flying the 737-800 on this route as of now. I remember they had a319s on there at some point as well.
Hey 👋 yes I think so too that they realized that the A220-100 was a bit smaller for this route , when I filmed this video the flights on that route were not that busy. Thank you for watching ✈️✈️😀
I agree, however, the 737-800 is a very notable step down in terms of features, at least the ones they are flying on this route. The ones I flew had the smaller IFE screens with the headphone jack in the armrest, and also featured the older, non-interactive flight tracker. They also lacked adjustable head rests, though the seats were fairly comfortable otherwise. IFE was also inoperative on the SEA-ORD flight, though it worked on the return trip to SEA. (took like 2 minutes to respond to any touch response, wouldn’t load movies, and flight tracker was stuck in Bakersfield, CA on a SEA-ORD flight.)
