Thank you so much for sharing. I can totally understand how you can struggle with planners. This is my first year at using a planned out journal. It is nice, but similar to you, I have mostly free flowed with my journaling and writing. I have sent myself a bit of a challenge this year. Hopefully, I can keep it going. Yep , I went back to journaling , especially to cards I noticed to pop up more often . I used to journal every day , year ago or so for very long time and I noticed I don’t go back to those card readings/ spreads if I can be honest .

I think once you finish a journal, it gets shelved, and we rarely return back to it. I have found, though, that I return to the journal I created when working through the ancestral tarot. I have returned to it a couple of times now more because it is specific info rather than general info. 🙏❣️

Lovely to see you this morning! Yup, I journal but it’s free-flow on myriad subjects and in a variety of places depending upon whether it’s contemplative, reflective, tarot-reading led or inspired, or related to my current manuscript or on-going research. LOL dozens of journals lying around or on shelves and I’m good with that. I do, however, have lists and am organized as to what goes where in all those journals; my organized chaos that hubby just shakes his head at in wonder! LOL Many blessings to you and, hey, kudos on your planner challenge to yourself! I tried one of those big planners (the one by BWen) as a challenge and, nah, wasn’t for me … too much pressure. ;)

Thank you so much for sharing. I like the free-flowing journalling too. I had to giggle at your reference to your hubby as mine walked in this morning armed with a coffee for me and sat down in the armchair. He looked around silently, then shaking his head he said, "How do you keep track of all this? Do you even know what books you have on your shelves? How do you know which book you have written all your notes in?" I just smiled and said, "It's all magic honey, magic!" 😁❤️🙏

I do journal daily and pull one card for me and three for advice. The card of the day for me I put on my phone so I can see how the day progresses. Each evening I update on how my day has gone ... reflection and any influences. I use the Artists Way Journal - but don't do the three pages! Currently using Insight Tarot but change each month as want my decks to feel used and not neglected so they all get a chance at some point in the year. Thank you for sharing x

Hi Elaine 🙂 I have a tarot journal but nothing in there yet 😎 but I do readings for myself but never wright it down, happy to see you doing the journal , I do ancestral readings and that goes well, the deck i’m using now is the dreaming way tarot , I have the deck for a while and work with it since yesterday, it gives me clear readings and the colors are very light 👌✨ and also bought tarot stickers ideal to make a journal with 😉 how are you doing with the Quarry? Find the cards yet? on the first try we mist like a lot of them 😂

I love ancestral readings, too. The tarot stickers are great for journaling. I have loaded the game onto the PS 4 and am just at the very beginning exploring. My older son popped in while I was playing and was pleasantly surprised to see me enjoying the game. 😀😀

😂 that is great ! I myself was surprised that I like the games from super massive 😉 sometimes it is a bit graphic and scary 😱 but anyway enjoy it, the characters are very good.

I'm actually so far much better than usually. I have a dedicated planner, a small one so I don't have to write too much, and even bought a bunch of stickers to make pretty pages at som point. :D

The smaller journals can also be more personal and private. I am a bit of a collector of journals and lovely parchment books that you can write in as and when you want to. I hope you are feeling much better, Orsi and the ankle is healing well 🥰🥰

i mean, i loooooove your hair!! i don't use a journal, per se. for my, kinda, daily life i have a "journal" that i keep on a flash drive (memory stick). i have a planner that i use instead of a wall calendar (for appointments and such) and when i do a reading i take a picture of it and save it along with my comments (the reading itself) in a private album (by year) on my facebook page.

Thank you so much ❣️. Your ideas for recording your readings and your planning are great. I am awful for the consistent misplacing of memory sticks. I have loads of photos that I had put onto a couple of memory stick, and recall thinking 'I will keep these safe' and put them away. I put them away so safely that I have ended up hiding them from myself. It must be an age thing as these days I need items the size of Mount Everest in order for me to locate them. I definitely need to drink more Rosemary tea 😂🙏❣️
