@3:14 users that it wont really charge as fast as it should. Real question is, how much faster than the previous charger(is it worth dishing out the $). I honestly was going to pick one up this morning but now that I saw your video. I'll still use my older model fast charger till further tests are done🤔

CZcams tech guy, just to get your point of view on this, wouldn’t it technically be better for the battery to have the slower charger as it wouldn’t cause as much heat and degrade the battery? Like most, I begin charging my phone before I go to sleep so faster charging isn’t super important as any charger will charge a phone for sitting there for 6 hours. What a 5 watt wireless charger be the best option or are there any wireless chargers that shut off once the phone reaches 100% capacity??
I like the old one for two reasons..... one the stand up pad so I can see my phone and two I really only use it at night to charge my phone and watch so I don't need it to faster charge.

My note 9 takes more than 2 hours 30 minutes to charge on this and 1 hour 40 minutes using cable. Isn't this a fast charger? I'm planning to get a note 10+ soon, will this fast charge note 10+, I mean as fast as cable fast charging?
New design, much better. However, I agree, wish it had a kick up feature.
I'm guessing they did it this way for the cooling.
Just bought the single pad charger from Samsung. Had to take my rubber sleeve off my otterbox for it to sense it and only a 6% charge increase in 15mins compared to wired charger of 15% in 15 mins. I get that wired is obviously faster. Taking the rubber off phone case tho defeats what is suppose to be convenient. Will be returning it.

I didn't pay $150 for the old one on Amazon, It was closer to $60 or so in November. Now while I wish it would lay flat when traveling because it is by far my favorite way to charge my phone at night, I will NOT be buying the new one. For me, the tilt is crucial on my night stand and while I have a tall bed, it is aligned with the night stand just right. Sometimes when I just want to watch something really quick before bed but don't want to hold the phone over my head in fear it will hit me in the forehead (again). The tilt helps me watch whatever show.

18W is for cable super fast charging.
This charger is 25W but it divides into 15W for one pad, and 10W for the other.

Nothing, but there is a new 15w wireless charger now, only works for the Note 10, so I will test that out this weekend
