Hello and thank you for stopping by! Thanks also for the support and subs! I won this 1980 vintage British Seagull 40 in a local auction as a non-runner. Join me as I investigate the faults, and overall condition of the old motor as I attempt to get it running.

I don't know anything about seagulls either, but I've found that chucking some bits of bread around gets them running. Happy to help.

I have a similar seagull with a recoil as you have from 1979, with a smaller fuel tank in restoration. The fuel line you can put in boiling water to re fit it. I have taken it all apart and re painted it almost ready to put it back together.
