The only way Ronnie Mac and be interested in is if it was a 2000 or older HPP power valve in it 2002 up were straight junk every time you went to go ride the power-valve would only work maybe 10% of the time
Ronnie would hack the fenders off and have the rings smoked within a week.😑

That bike is amazing. After growing up on Kawasakis I switched to the cr250. Ive had as 97 that I brought back over the last 5 years. I absolutely love them. I'll run this bike for as long as possible. Long live the 2 strokes.
Back in 2003 I had a friend that got a brand new 2003 Honda 85, looked exactly like this one. That was also a rad bike!

I rode 1of the first cr250 Elsinore's in California, I got a good idea, I think you should send me this bike to test out. I bought a brand new CR 250r in 1994 and it was my favorite. I also bought a brand new 2001 CR 250r and it was great but I still loved my 1994 more
The only moto he lost on the suzuki 450 in 05, he crashed, got back on and got third. He was an amazing champion.

Wow , I'm 41 and this was my first 250 , man , I remember being on the back wheel all the time , I'm sure it was 2002 , I absolutely loved that bike I used to do a lot of riding in the bush/enduro on it and did I have a ball , had a crf450 , xr250 , yz426 and 5 yz450f's since then and my 17 yz450f is up for sale for the 2021 yz450fx.. I absolutely love my 17 yz450f , power and handing is insane but electric start and larger fuel tank and being able to change a map with my phone doesn't get much better than that ... would love this bike as a wall hanger 🇦🇺🤙

Have had the same 2003 model bike since 07. Still love it.
I don't think if they do this in other markets but, in Italy, they get the bikes directly from Honda, and a company basically makes them road legal for the streets (plate holder, mirrors, front headlight, etc) which had a different name. They were named CRE 250R.
Great bike.... CRs are fun had a, 1989 cr 250 it was a beast.
In the UK you can get a day time ticket ,so you don't need lights 😂

Very fortunate to have been able to race and own one of these back then pro circuit pipe and jetted is all I did too mine and hole shot so many races in Australia

You have to live in the right state to register it, there are many that won't let you because of the VIN alone. Having a title does not mean its street legal

Oh you’re definitely right. Theirs just says not for sale on it. Some guy went to an auction in Vegas like two Months who... got 3 2007 hondas. An 85, 125, and a 250... all in the crate. Auction went for only $6000 for all 3. My point is that hondas are dogs compared to the Yamaha motor. I’ve had both. In a recent interview whisky throttle did with Ricky Carmichael he tried to get Yamaha power out of his hondas and they said they couldn’t do it, and that he had to ride the 450 if he wanted more bottom end power. The hondas are sick 2 strokes and I love em... but Yamaha and Suzuki both made better 2 strokes in 2002-2007.

Man, at the time I hated how those aluminum perimeter-framed Hondas looked, but they've really grown on me these past 10 years or so. That thing is beautiful.

I bought that bike 2004 at chaparral it was my first brand new dirt bike I had no idea it was iconic. To be completely honest I was coming from 1998 CR250 that was bored out I don't even know the specs but it was way faster lol to be a kid again.
Back in 1973 it was introduced in the Philippines as the CR 250 Elsinore. a silver motocrosser with an aluminum tank. Later models sported a porccupine cylinder head.
I have one of these, in great condition. Always garaged hardly ever ride it. I just love looking at it 😄

Hofstede motoren in the Netherlands still has a few brand new cr's 125 and 250 still in the box and some are assembled but never ridden.

Hey Kaplan. Bills cycle in Steinbach, mb have a brand new 07 cr250. Never fired 27k Canadian and a cr250 07 for 15 fully decked out
I actually had an 03 with pro circuit full exhaust vforce 2 reeds re jetted. Kept going through plugs until I bought what was called a copperhead spark plug. That plug lasted until I sold it
You can get one of these in Finland for about 1700€-2000€, they are used of course but they arent even in bad shape. I would love to restore one but I dont got the money for it right now😅.

These guys are great They bleed red no doubt hahaha. Had an 01 wasn't a great racing motor stock. Thankfully they could be fixed and tuned into a beast down low where they severely lack.

I have a 2002, two owner from new. I don't ride off road, the guy before me thought a little 250 would be fun to ride around the fields, how wrong was he. He shit himself and sold it to me. 5 hours from new. Extremely good condition.
Same thing with my 2003, I always felt like I should have just stored it away instead of putting another 10 hours on it, still near mint condition.

What was better was when Ricky went to the Motocross of Nations and smoked Stefan Everts and his full works Yamaha and the rest of the boys over there on their works open 4 strokes on a track made for their big bikes and then Ricky told them after the race we might have lost as a team but " it was important for me to show everybody that i am the best " and then said
" i won all the races so i feel i was the best" ..........something like that ...he was a true PATRIOT..........on this bike
