Thank you Nam for giving us a glimpse of this beautiful family! Despite the heartbreaking diagnosis, it's cleary evident the love & devotion they both have. They are persevering with determination to cherish each moment & make everyday matter. I hope the Butterfly model becomes a norm across communities to help Alzheimers individuals & families ❤

Ruby and Pasha are wonderful ambassadors. I have been very fortunate to get to now them and to share a stage with them. The subtitle of my book My Bert Has Alzheimer's is: Caregiving is Living for Two. I relate very much to Pasha's being a 'partner'. Alzheimer's is devastating. It will bring you down low but it will not break you if you are motivated by love which this couple demonstrates so well. I would like to tell their children not to be too worried when Ruby no longer recognizes them, because they will know her and remember for her. Thank you for an enlightening segment on dementia.

I like that you provided a variety of perspectives on the topic. I am a care partner for someone with mild dementia. A big challenge for me has been keeping my partner entertained, so to speak. This is partly due to the fact that they don't carry forward any memory of recent or slightly older fun activities. Programs through the local Alzheimer's Society have been very helpful in providing activities for my partner and I. A very troubling point made in the show was about our health system relying so heavily on care partners.
