The 257 is operated by Stagecoach London using Enviro400's & Enviro400MMC's from Leyton [T] Garage. The route goes from Walthamstow, Leyton, Whipps Cross, Leytonstone, Maryland & Stratford. It is a nice and short and helps to connect both ends together which is a nice alternative to the 69 & the 97. However, I really hate the 20mph roads and the cycle lanes as well. I do believe that the 257 & the 215 could possibly get merged as they are both short, whilst doing a loop at Walthamstow Bus Station. The route is set to be retained with Stagecoach with electrics as well later this year.
No, I didn't make an error with the road name in Walthamstow. It is just a weird road name as Idek how it was approved. It's also not really a nice word which was why I had to slightly change the name of it to Heo Street. Please refrain form using that word in the comments. I'd love to try more routes around East London but it's too far for me since I'm around NW but I still completed the 58,SL2,25,393,D8 and 30 and they were all really long. I must've picked the wrong day to do them but nevertheless I enjoyed all of them.

Regarding the 215/257 merger idea, wouldn't it be a bit overkill to merge a x20 min route with a x10 route?The 215 is one of the least busiest DD routes so it probably doesn't need a frequent bus service like the 257.Not to say its not a good idea,tho-it is a good idea of a merger!

I get your point! Merging them would be good, but then if you slightly increase the buses on the 215 and decrease the buses on the 275, there would start to be a problem overall.
route 257 is defo getting electroliners!!!
Or maybe the MCV BZLs. Gets Electroliners will look disgusting. Just know the MMCs are going fully to route 275

@@javellsuktransport3588 because where else would it go to. Route 55, 215 & N55 are LTs, the ADL Euro 5s are on route 56 and sometimes route 275 but now the MMCs would replace the Tridents from route 275. It’s self explanatory. If not then it is what it is
