    I am glad that i am in a state does not require front plate😅

    I have mine bolted on the bracket with a washer and nut. I did have to use a step bit in the back for the nut to fit from the back. I can just clip the bracket with the plate in and take it off wherever I want to. It fits on there pretty snug. Luckily my grill wasn't drilled into when I got it.

    How did you measure/find the exact spot to drill in the bumper cover plate for the tow hook mount?

    Do you have any recomendaciones for a tow hook been trying to find one on the front for mine 😅

    Have you thought about doing the CE grille and rear valence swap? I think the gloss black looks better and the grille wouldn’t have holes.

      I have thought about it. Just haven't wanted to spend that much money just yet for something that wouldn't really benefit me short of just visually looking better

    Fits in a Camry?

      I doubt it would fit seeing as how it was designed with the GR bumper in mind.

    I find it funny at all the people in the comments saying "I don't like the way it looks"... why did you click on the video then??? It clearly shows in the thumbnail where it is located from the get go.....

      Because I subscribed to his channel for a reason. And he always talks about other things going on, not just the part or topic in the title/picture. Plus the thumbnail picture doesn't show me how it's made or how it's mounted. And now that I've watched and I have all that info, I'm not a fan personally. And I shared a couple of my thoughts as to why. Sorry you take offense to others having an opinion. This is on social media after all, and no topic will ever have a 100% yea or nay respone.

    Its stupid to have to have a front plate in any state.

  • @carlstrohm3785
    @carlstrohm3785 Před 4 měsíci +1

    That just doesn't look good to me. And it would never last up here in the frozen north. It would be ripped off in the first snow bank it encountered. It also doesn't look that strong. The plate itself won't last that long without support up to the top. Plates aren't very strong and they flex easily when not fully supported. Idk, try it out and give us an update after a few thousand miles I guess. Otherwise you already have the holes in the grill so I'd just leave it in the factory position. Feel better.

    • @jaysunhong9532
      @jaysunhong9532 Před 4 měsíci +3

      I've had this same bracket on my GR for at least 4k miles now with no issues. Now I don't' drive in any snow. So I can't vouch for that.
      But on the aspect of just put the factory one back on. That's not his worry. This is clearly a video to give people who don't have their front bumper drilled an option. Otherwise I'm sure he could have just put on this factory one and been done with it.

      @@jaysunhong9532 I understand that and even suggested giving feedback after being used for a while so...if it doesn't work out, the holes are already in the grille was my point. Maybe I didn't word that clearly enough.

    Wait... we run front plates in Houston? I've stared officers in the face without a front plate for years now. My wife's Sienna hasn't had a front plate since 2021. That officer definitely wanted to see your car up close. LOL.
    Plus the amount of blacked out, 5% tint I see running around this city, there is no way this is really enforced.

    • @JasonTran04
      @JasonTran04 Před 4 měsíci +5

      Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it isn't against the law. Texas is a state that requires by law to run both a front and rear plate.

      @@JasonTran04 it doesnt mean that law is retarded... I also don't use and will not drill the front of my cars unless it came already drilled. There is a couple groups already fighting this silly law and rather have inspections to come back due to the amount of idiots driving rust bucket vehicles leaving debris on the highway.
