- Ignore what the man says about giving you the abridged version of the expo. Seeing as we went all three days this time instead of one, the video was gonna be longer by default. Anyway, Too Many Games 2014 has come and passed, so Elliot and I are gonna give you guys the down low.
- Hry
Dude I was glad we got to run into each other again two years in a row \m/ Also the pic....that shit made me quite happy XD
You as well good sir. If you stop by next year, I'll be sure to drop in and say Hello. :)
SomecallmeJohnny You and AlphaOmegaSin need to make a show together!
we need a collaboration
*****
Most definetly. I'm thinking that if Johnny will ever do a review marathon on Resident evil, he has to get Alpha in there, at least for 1 of the videos. I say RE because I kinda recognize Alpha as an RE fan especially for whatever reason.
SomecallmeJohnny
Hey Johnny what kind of editing software do you use?
"He paid HOW MUCH for Conker's Bad Fur Day?! Surely that game can't be THAT expensive!" (one trip to eBay later) "Oh...oh dear..."
Flashcart go!
Believe it or not I got Conker's Bad Fur Day on one Christmas Day years ago and no I'm not lying on what I said early and yes much like Paper Mario & Megaman 7 it's that much on eBay I checked.
Also, it kind of felt heart warming when you were cheering Elliot when he got that cartridge. :)
Dude a donations marathon is such an awesome idea!
I seriously hope you do Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom. I spent so such time playing that game as a kid.
These videos always put a smile on my face. Glad you had a fun time this year Johnny. Can't wait to see next year's video and possible panel and I hope one day to meet you in person. ^^o
Yeah, Extra Life and Too Many Games! It was good to meet you Johnny, I was the lead for the Extra Life booth. As for the "Pixels for Kids", that went to support Children's Hospital of Philadelphia via Extra Life.
0:05 Is that Matt or Louis C.K.?
matt is fatter so Louis c.k.
I'm glad you guys had a lot of fun at TooManyGames. It looked very entertaining and the stuff everyone got looked awesome. ^^ Also Johnny? Thank you very much for signing my LA Noire fanart. My friend said he was going to try and get it signed for me seeing as I live on the other side of the pond in the UK, and I can't thank you and him enough. :D
Man, you guys got a lot of great stuff! Some of my favorites from your haul include Elliot's copy of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (that game is a *gem*), Matt's copy of Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (which I think he'd find enjoyable), and Johnny's copy of Mega Man Network Transmission. I'm hoping that someday Johnny talks about the Battle Network games. I feel like that series doesn't get enough love.
Hey I'm glad to have met you again at TMG, Johnny! I'm super excited to see something on Ty the Tasmanian tiger. It's too bad that I didn't have a boxed version to give you. It's a really fun banjo-kazooie like collect-a-thon.
The Bird Jesus shirt was my best grab of Saturday and Sunday, a little better than the Kanto and Hoenn badges that I got. It was great to actually meet you guys in person! Thanks for taking time out of your day to meet your fans!
Thanks for featuring Treasure Adventure World at 13:55 - I'm glad you liked it and I hope to see you at TMG next year with the finished game.
When I heard that you got a Spongebob Squarepants: BFBB as a donation, I was excited. That game is amazing, although I'm not sure how the PS2 version is, since I played the Gamecube version, but this means that I will be seeing a review of that game in your donations marathon in the future. Until that time, keep doing great, Johnny!
It was great to see you and thanks for the selfie pic on day 3...i was the guy standing next to you while waiting to get into AlphaOmegaSin's panel...
The big guy with glasses, Kingdom Hearts messenger bag and black shirt that said " World's greatest Gamer Dad"...
If you can recall..lol
I met you there on Sunday. Thanks for taking a few minutes to chat and making this fan very happy. You rock bro!
Never really heard of the Too Many Games convention, and seeing this video was really cool! Makes me want to go next time.
Also Johnny, i'm glad to see you got the Blinx games, i've been wanting that game for years and i finally got it. I also think you'll love Battle for Bikini Bottom, one of my favorite games of all time. All the other stuff you got was really cool.
Hell yes, Mary Kate and Ashley & Cory in the House DS! Got yourself some gems right there, Johno!
I really hope this is sarcasm lol
Nice to see the spoils from the convention. Just subscribed a couple weeks but I want to say I appreciate your channel!
When I saw the infinity gauntlet in the thumbnail, I freaking rushed to watch this
Croc! Have fun with it Elliot! I still play my copy of it to this day and it's still fun to play ^_^
"I'm so anxious to get to Mary-Kate & Ashley" - Juan Ortiz 2014
John, Battle for Bikini Bottom is actually a really good game. It'd be great to see you review it.
I love seeing all the appreciation for BfBB in the comments. It's really fun.
ToskiHero and EHAN I'd hardly be surprised if that is mainly because of Fawful's Minion drooling over it in like half of his videos.
I know of it from *****
I just know it from my own experience, I've never even heard of Fawful's Minion or Fred5107
Same here, I really do enjoy the game myself. It's just that it's built up a bit of a following in the past few years and the only reason I can see for that is Fawful's Minion talking about it pretty frequently (Even going as far as calling it his favorite 3D platformer. EVER).
Nice grab on the silent hill 2 Elliot, It's one of my favorite horror games of all time and the HD remake pooped on the voice acting pretty hard. Hopefully we'll see it come Halloween fest. and I can't wait until you guys tackle bad fur day and the banjo games, I can definitely say the next couple of years of SGB are gonna rock!
i'm so disappointed that i couldn't get there, i really wanted to thank you in person for entertaining me with your great reviews and lets plays, rock on Johnny.
That Delorean has plenty of room to open the doors. It's a misconception that the gull wing doors need a lot of room to open. It really only needs about a foot of space to clear.
Awesome video you guys have. To some call me Johnny and the SGB you guys rock I always enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work and I will always support you guys. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed the SEGABits panel Johnny! (I'm that Liam Ashcroft guy they mentioned). I agree about the Japanese Dreamcast advert, haha!
I hosted the after party and help run the event. Cool video. Ours is coming out in a few weeks, I'll send it to you when it's out.
Leave it to CZcams to randomly recommend this to me...with TMG '24 about a month and a half away.
As someone who didn't start going to TMGs until 2021, it's interesting seeing the Expo Center as it was ten years ago, though. 😮
Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality john! I met you on the first day and was super humbled to meet you and how generous you were
Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom? I really hope you have fun playing that one, I love that game! I just finished a 100% run of it a few days ago.
Dude..so you're the one who bought that Metroid!!!!!! I saw thst and asked the girl how much and she said she sold it already!
I was so pissed, but seeing how it found a good home and to someone who loves the series as much as me, i cant complain now....
But damn, i really wanted that!
Why must VA not have any of these events lol. Also, High five to Elliot for getting that mother 3! Thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts on this years too many games. Oh, Almost forgot. I did not even realize that was matt until he spoke LOL so use to him having a beard xD
You can go to MagFest in Maryland. Not too far from where you're at and has about as much stuff as TMG.
30:01 THE COOLEST T-SHIRT EVER! I loved that!
Hope that after your summer marathon, you will do a Super Smash Bros. review marathon to celebrate the series 15th anniversary.
When Johnny did the Hulk Hogan pose, it made my day. To hear that nobody cared about that kinda upsets me, as I am a gigantic wrestling fan.
I had to take a double take at the thumbnail, because it looked like Automail .Anyways, this was awesome, Johnny!!!
That convention looks like my kind of convention! Breathing room while walking around, and mostly games. I wish we had one like that.
Glad you guys had a great time! Sadly, I couldn't go cuz I lost my job last month and had to use my tax return which would've been for the trip to paying off last month's college loans. Hopefully I will have a job established by the time next year's comes along so that I can save up, meet up with a hometown friend who lives in Philly, meet an online friend for the first time, and meet you guys for the first time as well. See ya next video and take care! :)
This popped up in my recommended today, like an SGB time capsule. :D
so jealous of that mother 3 rom, one of my favorite games. also, I suddenly want to duel you guys
Damn the majoras mask 72 hours remain etc. has been in my head since yesterday waiting till the 5th since im getting the wii u with Mario Kart, New super mario bros u and lugi u, Windwaker HD with the mario kart deal, and Sonic Lost World as a gift from my friend. damn 21 Hours remain (not including sleeping time)
Wait, does this mean we'll see "SGB Play: Conker's Bad Fur Day"?
I'd love to see that, including multiplayer videos. The multiplayer is great.
"SGB Play: Conker's Bad Fur Day"
HA. THAT RHYMED.
coopercastille
I come from the future. Your wish has been fulfilled.
We also got Banjo Kazooie.
Wow! Glad you and the gang had an Awesome time on Too Many Games Expo! Awesome video!
Great video John, really looking forward to Johnny vs Ty the Tasmanian Tiger review.
Hey Johnny, I'm Brian and I gave you guys Super Mario Bros Deluxe. Nice seeing you and here's to next year!
Yay! Johnny found the original Biffalo. May you cherish him/she/it/heshit forever!
it's pretty rare that anyone mentions Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. I thought people forgot about that game. Kudos to the person who sent it.
I guess I'm just gonna add going to a Too many games expo onto my vacation bucket list. I'm still baffeled at how over here in Finland we have like 10.000 anime oriented conventions clogging every season, but not a single gaming convention. It's always been such a wierd thing how video games definetly have a history in my country's culture, but it's more focused on the developement of games rather than the gaming community itself.
Hey Johnny, you should get your uncle to join you in a let's play at some point this year. That would be a treat. ^^
Elliot should definitely play the Z.o.E. Collection, especially Z.o.E. Second Runner. It's a great game that doesn't get enough love.
Glad to know you enjoy the Smash shirt I gave ya Johnny, what did Elliot, Matt and Mark (if he saw it) think?
I'm glad that Johnny is doing a donator's month, mostly because one of the games is Eternal Sonata
I need to head to one some time(currently in CA at time) so what kind of prices should I prepare for (outside of entrance fee) games/consoles, trading cards, merchandise, and shirts?
It was awesome to see you there John!
Thanks for showing my fan art Johnny. It means alot to me
Holy shit Elliot got a translated Mother 3 GBA cart! Now you kinda have to LP it lol
I just remembered how much I LOVED Blinx 2. I couldn't figure Blinx 1 for the life of me, though.
Yes! John please review Ty! Those games were one of my childhood favorites!
Music for Right before the AC thing at the end?! I know it's the Brawl Credits but WHAT REMIX?!
Wow, Kevin Villecco is one of my guildmates and friends from online gaming, Ragol. I forgot he went to too many games. Nice job on the catch Elliot and also what do you guys think of his album?
P.S. It truly is a small world.
Is it strange for me to now want to see a smackdown sunday that has them playing yugioh?
Aside from that two other things. Johnny, you may want to play a battle network game or two before trying out that Gamecube Megaman game. Trust me on this. The other thing is, what are the odds of seeing a Megaman Legends 2 LP being done later this year?
I can already imagine Matt talking like Pegasus the whole match lol "Oooh Johnny boy!!!"
I didn't know Elliot was into yugioh. I would smoke them with this new xyz deck I made but I need to edit because monster reborn, sangan, and return from different dimension is banned. Shit!
Wow Johnny, you and Elliot sure had a hell a lot weekend there at the Too Many Games Convention this year!
I don't know why I watch this video...all this does is remind me of the pain and misery of the reality that I will never get to go there for years...
*Watches more*
I take it back...somewhat. This was fun to watch
My friend went to TMG. He was cosplaying as Cole Phelps and he played Project M with Johnny, Elliot, and Matt. Just to let you know, Matt, I was the one that told my friend about how to use Giga Bowser in Project M. So, if you're going to kick my ass, you'll have to find me first. If you can...
I wonder what Elliot was pointing at? Also, you have really cool room, Johnny.
Come to Ireland Johnny! :D
YES! I second this
GT8191ms I third this!
Please do come to Ireland.
What they said!
There's no land like our land, like our whistle throughout the breeze,
Where one man may make a stand, where his freedom is his please.
And along this emerald beauty, a lure of charm does pervade,
to fulfil those with beauty, whose heart it may persuade.
28:00 My hearsay about 4Swords Adventures is that it was a very good game, but no one really played it. The main villain is Vaati, who is also the big-bad in Minish Cap and the original 4Swords (with two hugely differing back-stories).
YUS!!! A review of the games I donated?!?!?!?!?!!! AWESOME!!! (BTW Still don't know how or why we always bumped into one another every 5 minutes..... and at wawa...... ENJOY THE WONDERLAND OF BUBSY AND SPONGEBOB!!!
Do you plan on attending Sonic Boom 2014 this November?
I am so glad I got to go to this and meet Johnny and Elliot. Shame I didn't get to meet Matt though.
Johnny, do you ever go to Magfest? It's like TMG, though there is a lot stuff, but captures the same charm as TMG.
It's not too far from your area, it's in Washington DC
Johnny, to give you a definition of trap music, it's just rap instrumentals
I saw you there! I hope i see you next year!
Thanks for hitting up our panel! Glad you enjoyed the convention (who wouldn't though?)
Megaman Legends 2? Wow, nice buy, Matt! Even if it cost $75, online it is usually over $200! If only they would release it on the PSN... and it's safe to say just about every Megaman Legends fan is jealous of you now.
Johnny, I think you are going to like Eternal Sonata. I bought the game while it was on sale on Xbox Live (for about $3.50, I might add) and I loved it. It really is a fun, music themed game that music lovers will probably enjoy. The only real problem it has is that the PS3 version has more in it, like an extra character even.
... Now I wanna see a review on Eternal Sonata one day, just to see what he has to say about it. :P
27:26 Me: "Is that!!! IS THAT LAGOON!!?" I kind of jsut freaked out. I don't know if Lagoon's that obscure or not, but man it's one of 4 games my grandma had for her SNES. Classic game that kicked my ass.
Also, Matt. On the whole $80 bucks for Conker's Bad Fur Day thing, be glad you own Tales of Destiny. It's roughly 80 bucks on amazon. Luckily I got that for christmas. I do know that feel though, sir. $125 for Tales of Eternia. I am proud.
Holy shit, Matt looks so damn different without his mustache O,o
Johnny thank you for signing my sonic rivals! It's me David!
Videos like this remind me of why it is awesome to be a gamer. :D
I think I made a comment like this last year, but I'm definitely gonna try to go to TMG next year. Especially since it seems to keep getting better every year!
Glad to see Battle Network: Net Warrior among your donations. It's not the most popular Mega Man series, but it's very fun in it's own way.
I really wish there were expos and conventions in Canada. :(
Mother 3 fan translation on a GBA cart? I didn't know they did that! How much did that cost Elliot?
Johnny, have you considered reviewing Freedom Planet? It's coming out in fifteen days!
I am so ready for the X-Men Legends games in the donator's marathon
Apart from the panel video are you doing a TMG2015 for this year
You should really, really, REALLY review Ty The Tasmanian Tiger, Johnny! It's a childhood game of mine and I happily see what you think of it. I love that game to death!
0:09 Is the song "Sandstorm"? Nope. It could be a remix of Flying Battery
Is johnny going to Too Many Games 2015? if so im definately gonna be there.
His fedora makes him euphoric in this moment. 19:23
Something you didn't mention about Treasure Adventure World is that you can get the Prequel(?), Treasure Adventure Game, for free on Good Old Games. By the looks of it, It's pretty much the same game, except with Pixelated Graphics. One could call TAW a remake.
Not specifically advertising, but I'm not sure if you knew that
at 0:53 can someone please tell me where to get that 8 bit megaman? is it online? somewhere? i want one!
I'm pretty sure it was made out of Lego. So you too can have one... also!
What? BioShock 2 is terrible?! I mean... It wasn't as original as the first, sure, but I thought that so many things were fixed in 2, the story was on the same level of cool as the first, and almost all of the new items and weapons were quite the improvement over the last set.
okagron Fuck yeah.
okagron With a Motherfucking Drill. I mean I know nothing about Bioshock but come on! A Bloody Drill! What's not to like?
Knuxfan24 Nothing! Even then, I think that Delta and Sigma are slightly better characters than Jack from the first game. I mean, finding out your life's a lie is one thing, but then again, it felt like we did most of the shit in BioShock for no real reason other than to leave Rapture. In BS2, we knew Rapture was a place that sucked really badly, and probably worse than in the first game, but we kept going through to save our daughter. C'mon, that's some powerful stuff right there.
Raster Punk Point taken. Yes, they are not as good in terms of gameplay or replayability compared to System Shock, but they aren't "terrible" games. They work just fine, if a little stale and watered down. And sure, replayability is important, but so is the first time you experience a game. That determines whether or not you'd go for a replay most often for people. Even still, you seem to be exaggerating, because I don't find the first two (Didn't feel like touching Infinite, but I've seen quite a lot of it) to be pathetically easy. So there may be little reason to replay them, but there certainly isn't no reason. Err... I'm rambling, let's just say you win.
Raster Punk Been wanting to try System Shock 1 and 2 for a while now. If the enemies regained all health when you die in the Bioshock games it would have fixed the difficulty issue, you would actualy be punished for dying. Also you can turn off the Vita Chambers so that complaint about the difficulty is invalid.
But i still really enjoyed the first two Bioshock games, while somehwat linear there's still some exploration. Bioshock Infinite on the other hand is extremely linear and there's barely any exploration.
I really wanted to go but I got sick on the day before I could leave I hope to see you next year.
hey johnny if we missed you at the convention, how would we send out fan gifts to you? i managed to go this year but wasnt able to catch you.
WOOO! Go Elliot for getting Umvc3 for vita! I just.... really like that game.
dude those pixel standees and posters are flippin' awesome....I wish I could find those vendors online.
lmao i could hear the ice cream truck sound at 9:20. Nice!
Johnny now has biffolo in his house...John keep it away from the federation! Keep him safe!
Also it's cool that Matt and Elliot is into yugioh. That's cool.
what was the name of the booth who were doing the pixel portraits?
AWESOME john you got blinx. its so underrated =D
