I've noticed that if you upgrade 6 cards from level 10 to 11 it gives more xp than getting one from level 13 to 14 (and you save 10k gold).

Yeah but at first (like Mr youtuber over there) one would think that more gold means more xp
I also made some math a while ago when i Grinded for 4 Hours for level 14 king tower, 15k gold for level 10->11, gives 600xp
If you upgrade 6 level 10 cards (90k gold) it gives 600xp*6=3600 xp
While one card from level 13 to level 14 requires 100k gold and gives 2000 xp
Upgrading cards from level 10 to 11 gives 200xp more per every 10k gold, basically gives double the xp than upgrading cards from level 13 to 14 (200xp per 10k gold)

It’s more xp efficient to upgrade your lower level cards rather then your higher level ones (still takes ages). Upgrading from level 13-14 takes 100k gold and gives 2k experience (0.02 exp per coin) while upgrading from level 10 to 11 gives 600 exp for 15k coins (0.04 exp per coin). the lower level card you upgrade the more value you get per coin
level 15 is coming so you will get even more

People mostly most CR for fun OR skill plays. This guy gives you both things. So you don't have to go see entertainment and skill separately

As a fellow level 11 player I am going through exactly the same stuff Brad is talking about. The new trophy system is pain.

@justbenagain season resets aren't a thing anymore, you just grow in trophies up to 7500 and then you stop. and as always for arenas, you cannot drop arenas so once you reached an arena on the new trophy road you cannot go below it
Luckily I was level 12 so it was a good thing for me since I got all the champions the 1st month after I hate that there's level gates and stuff but like the limits on path of legends cuz used my own deck so when I transitioned from pekka logbait to mighty miner logbait(golem this season and it's actually higher cuz champions are hard to level)my stuff was really underleveled
@@justbenagain2291 There's now level minimums to get to higher arenas, and it's impossible to break through unless you're at that level

You only need 113 games to be a world record holder for most consecutive wins in *history* of clash royale.
You calculated how much gold you need spend to upgrade level 13 cards to level 14 and get enough XP to level up, what you forgot about is that Lower level cards (6-12) give you more XP for your Gold than high level ones. 👍👍

Idk if this helps, but the most efficient xp is lower level cards, most levels have a 20 gold to 1 xp ratio but 13-14 is at a ratio of 50:1. Best efficiency is 5:4 with level 1 commons but level 6 epics (or commons/rares lower level slightly) gives 400:25 (I specified epics cuz it's the first level to level up) so if it comes down to an xp grind, your money is going down the drain focusing on max leveled cards only (without magic coin of course)

The actual hardest challenge in this game is reaching 7500 on a F2P account in less than 3 years of constantly grinding.

if you upgrade cards of a lower level you get way more xp/gold. For example for level 1 to level 2 you pay 5 and you get 3/4 xp, wich is 1.6 gold for 1 xp, while from 13 to 14 you pay 100 000 and you get 2000, wich is 1 in 500. It goes along the higher the level you do. So it's not impossible to get to level 14 quickly, you just need to upgrade the lower cards.
Watch for the midladder plays, stay for the Cooper boops

btw b-rad, cards give increasingly less xp per coins as you level them up. the optimal xp is upgrading to level 11, which costs 15k and gives 600 xp, which about doubles your efficiency.
You get more xp per gold upgrading lower level cards. For example, level 14 nets you 2K xp for 100K gold, which is a cost of 50 gold per xp. Level 11 however gets you 600 xp for 15K gold, which is a cost of 25 gold per xp. Level 4 is even better, at ~8 gold per xp.

hate the new ladder system, was halfway through arena 15 when it came out and i started getting 3 or 4 trophies per win because i wasnt level 30 yet, i have basically no hopes of ever reaching the top arena at this rate since im never gonna spend money (maybe a pass royale if im desperate)

0:06 Good day everyone! I have a Question about the arena level requirement. Currently im at 5470 Trophys and one win away from arena 16. The King level requirement for arena 16 is 33 but im only at 31 right now.
So what happens when i get to 5500 Throphys without the required level?
Obviously i wouldnt be able to unlock the champions but what about the checkpoint?
Does it unlock once i reach level 33?

3:38 see CR devs are killing their own game. I downloaded CR once again after approx 1.5 year and found out that they added a level cap to progress to the next arena. I literally upgraded all the cards I had, even the ones not in my deck. But now I couldn't progress anymore until the next season starts which was around after 7 days. Straight up uninstalled the game the same day
Hey B-rad just wanted to say that the lower level your card is when you upgrade it the more gold-xp ratio you get so upgrading to level 14 is inefficient.

I felt so much pain after reaching 7500 as a level 13 and not getting the chest benefits. You also lose trophies, even at 7500😭
