To the folks whining about the snare - it sounds like a compressed, gated snare that straight off an 80's drum machine. Like a Korg DDD-1 or Kawai R100. It sits in the mix in a very cool way, juxtaposed with those huge bladerunner-esq synths. Some of the most creative production on an album this heavy I've heard yet. Open your mind, metal snobs.

I got the first album i guess, where the song Reshaping the Multiverse and instantly got in love with the band. so far never disappoints me!

I can't stress how much this album has changed my entire view of Metal or anything of the sort. The cosmic sounds, the harsh vocals that makes you think a gang of 45 walruses are aiming at you, the blast beats, the "progressiveness" on all the tracks.... This album is indeed one of a kind.

God I love this band so much. What, 15-16 years of me enjoying every released album. It's just one of those bands that makes something amazing every time and sets the bar so ridiculously fucking high, it can only be topped by another release from the band itself.

Age is outright beautiful.
These guys make symphonies.
The final breakdown of Life is a masterpiece in itself.
It’s like looking back at the past. Every song, especially the ambient ones, puts you in such a pensive mood. The work on this album is so spacey - an out of body experience feeling.

One of the most (i think can be the most) perfect album ever made in metal industry. And incredibly underrated.
Age is one the most unique albums of the last few years and it's going to be one of my top 5 albums of the year. what a masterpiece!

This is fuckin awesome. I just found this band maybe a day ago when I came across the single version of Ruination, and thought wow this is brutal and trippy, like a deathmetal blast through the cosmos. Then tonight I find the whole album and I'm blown away. I mean, this is tremendous. The breakdowns, the growls, the tripped out ambient feel, the way each song flows into the next. The word masterpiece gets thrown around alot, but it might truly apply here.

I’m really loving the album , upon first listen I thought metamorph to age was just incredible . There is so much I like and of course I love it before I hear it. I’m so glad James came back, I’m sure the fans who demanded he come back may have been an influence as he’s renowned as the “Lowest” deathcore vocalist at this time.
And the album wouldn’t be what it is without proper and careful production from you, the drummer, bassist and guitarist. With your synth work to create an atmosphere influenced by the film, the Martian, it’s something unique and calm. You guys are definitely more appreciated than you think from metal fans around the world. Such a strong album, and an emotional work of art. You’ve gifted life to me and millions of others.

VinnyFromVT it’s so weird because it really does. Well not all of it but a good sum of it. Neural Union was a awhile back so maybe it was heavily re-written or some parts were used. If not and it’s just a throwback, it’s a nice little Easter egg for the fans 👌🏻
