  • Filmed at the Fort Worth, Texas Water Gardens. This is a rare aerial video of the filling of the 'Active Pool'. The Fort Worth Water Gardens is an incredibly unique feature in Downtown Fort Worth, TX. It features several other pools but this one is the main attraction. I've gone here since the 1980s and have never seen it empty, much less filling up.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens - Active Pool
    --------------------
The main attraction of the Water Gardens is the active pool which has water cascading 38 feet (11 m) down terraces and steps into a small pool at the bottom.
The active pool experience was built for people to walk down the terraced steps and experience the power, sounds and motion of water crashing around them.
Part of the film Logan's Run was filmed in the active pool at the Water Gardens in July 1975. The pool is also featured briefly at the end of the 1979 TV adaptation of The Lathe of Heaven.
Filmed with a DJI Phantom 3 Professional in 4K.

How deep was the bottom before they made it shallow? Remember that father/son drowning and they fixed it right after.

That middle part doesn't look deep enough to safely dive in like they did on Logan's Run.

Savage Mister yeah sometime in the 90's, they made it shallow because there was some drowning incident unfortunately.
