OK, except for the setup, this is just as easy and functional as DaVinci Resolve's auto subtitle tool. I really hope these kinds of developments keep happening in Kdenlive!! ... and BRAW gets added
I'll ask around for the BRAW support. As for the Speech to Text, there's so much more that can be done that I haven't covered yet, like making cuts and generating sequences.
@@nuxttux BRAW support would be huge! That's almost as popular to shoot in as h.264 for some people.

It would be great if there was some sort of integration with kaggle or colab or lightning AI to use their GPU for some tasks like these
It would be great. For now there's the OpenAI Wisper option available in the configurations, although I'm not too familiar with it just yet.
Which model should be downloaded for Bengali language??
I haven't seen a Bengali module for VOSK, but it does seem that the Whisper speech engine has Bengali.
I recommend referring to the Kdenlive documentation page to learn how to properly installed Whisper.

Is this available for Indonesian?
Not on the Alpha Cephei website that I can see, but they do have a list of other places where you can check for models which might be compatible, it's near the bottom of the page.
