Well they live in LA so I’m sure there’s a tonnnn of thrifts store with a bunch of cool things there.
I get a lot of my furniture that’s pretty new from the thrift store! A lot of big stores like target donate to the goodwill.

I just LOVE how a family is helping another family. Like I dont mind when yall decorate CZcamsrs rooms and stuff but I just love these budget makeovers and makeovers gifted to people who deserve them, like dont get me wrong CZcamsrs deserve them too cuz they put a lot of effort into their content but when u have a platform such as this u have an obligation to help those in tough situations, and many many people forget this. Watching a young family like yours helping other families is such a blessing. Not only that but how u bring people of all walks of life together. For example, I'm a hijabi (I wear a head scarf) and literally hardly any people of such a large following like urs give us any recognition so I was ecstatic when u brought a hijabi girl in for a video. Another example is how u bring men into the designing world as many men feel they cant become and interior designer As this is a very female dominated area. Thanks for doing this to people that deserve it. Love u all x

I have a feeling it appears more saturated on camera because in some instances the wall looks more muted. Like when they zoom into the photos, the wall looks less vibrant.

She's literally working with a sleeping infant on her tummy. And I'm sitting here brainstorming about the fact that this should be the norm in all work spaces and places.
what should be the norm? Decorating or working with a sleeping infant? Because if it's the latter, not everyone has the ability to walk out and give the baby to their mom or take time. Noon is a well-behaved baby, but definitely a challenge to work around for them. Babies in the workplace are a distraction and make things hard and awkward on their mothers. (think breastfeeding?)....why am I explaining this? you probably meant the decorating, lol.
@larry wayne I love your comment so much! Where it could be done safely I think it should. It would definitely give parents the best of both worlds. People may not have a grandparent to takeover but imagine it's your job's daycare. I believe that sort of thing would be a great way to invest tax payers money into a system that integrated work and care for children. An incentive given for businesses that participated perhaps. While it would be nice to have babies and parents around each other as often as possible there are some downsides (business-wise) to bringing a baby to work. Distractions to the parent and others, illnesses that the baby's not immune to, liability if the baby gets sick or hurt (or worse) and the parents decide to sue. Some businesses allow baby-at-work programs but I can see why others would be wary of it, especially if something happens to the baby.
I can't believe how far you made that $1000 go! Things add up big time before you know it, and you did a great job!
They are so deserving, the rooms are so beautiful. Moon is so chill so cute. You guys are truly a blessing to this family.

Karen Robertson, I agree. I love how the hanging light casts vertical stripes on the wall at 30:32. It helps balance the offset window. ( wondering how they change the bed sheets. That would be a workout, for sure. )

@@kalievesely3200 it's safe as long as the baby has open airways, which it looks like moon has. It get scary when the parent or whoever is carrying the baby isn't paying attention. When babies are at this age it is best to carry towards you, this is because of all the impressions and this can get very tiring for the baby. It's not recommended to carry frontfacing untid they are 6 months old because it's not ergonomically correct for the babies hips and at this age the babies are more curious to the things around them, but it's not recommended to carry frontfacing for more then 10 minutes at a time. I live in Norway and this is what's recommended here. My baby is 2 years old now but i still carry her in my tula free to grow. As long as the back of the baby has a C shape and the legs have a M shape when the baby falls aslepp in the carryier and like i said the airways are open, everything is safe :)

I know right? That branch is actually beautiful... I have my grandpa's walking stick/cane, it's a polished Rowan branch that grew into a cane shape, I think I may do something like that with it.

I literally said "oh my god" outloud when I saw this. Probably my favorite budget transformation, I would actually live here lol. It feels like a whole new house, its so light and fresh yet cozy
I almost cried a little. I know how expensive can be to furnish a whole place, even when you thrift it takes time to find things that work together. Staying within budget is what amazed me the most, wow! For the amount of money, it is an unbelievable transformation. Keep it up!
I got my carpenter husband to watch part 1 with me, and he was so impressed with Joey's 2 handed painting that he wanted to see the outcome. He was like "That's actually a genius idea, cutting and rolling together." Joey earned the respect of a seasoned historic restoration carpenter. 😊
