A possible alternative - My neighbour had voiceover problems; however her's was sequentially stepping through the screen options. It turned out that she'd accidentally activated Switch Control in the accessibility options and this also had voiceover activated.

Hello, as well as that way you showed in this video, you can also show the accessability shortcut method where you either tripple click the home button or the side/top button depending on the device being used. You could have also showed how to do the same action, turning it off using Siri. I use the accessability shortcut method on both my phone and iPad as I think this is much quicker than either going into the settings or asking Siri to disable it.
This helped so much I had to use my moms phone bc I couldn’t do ANYTHING AT ALLON THE IPAD so I had to do it step by step on two different devices it worked!!
I purchased an iPad mini a month or so ago. And I have never regretted anything more in my life. And I cannot change it anymore because of the date of purchase.
I have the voice over repeating what letters I key in and it changes everything I key in because it says A for Alfa B for bravo etc and that gets keyed in so searching for anything is impossible I’ve searched everywhere and googled and you are the closest I’ve found but still doesn’t solve my problem… I would be eternally grateful if you can tell me how to stop this annoying issue Thanks 🙏 in advance Robyn
Different problem. I have to have it silent in the room because if anyone talks, or the tv is on it picks up outside words and types the in my typing box. My voiceover was off so I tried turning it on then off. Once turned on my iPad won't respond to any screen touch and it won't let me reset.
Have a line through my mic icon in upper right hand of screen so I can't set up accessibility features because it tells me mic is being used by an app but I can't find out which one!
Good video. However, I can't even get to the passcode screen now. And when I did get the passcode screen earlier, nothing happened after I entered my passcode. Was I supposed to enter each number of the passcode twice. Thanks!
Help mine is a different issue when I use the keyboard it speaks every letter in that police code..alpha bravo etc then it says capital whichever letter you touch then it repeats it constantly then it will start calling words that begin with the letter you touch..it’s driving me crazy and this method you show doesn’t help.

i can't help myself right now... after I got the voiceover. i was trying to remove it I turned the assistant manager and try to go to setting but I don't know if I just accidentally put my brightness to 0 but my screen turned black. i tried the find the assistant manager in the dark screen but I cant find it. it did flash bright once but shortly become black again. it's happening right now. i don't know if its the game I downloaded but I'm stuck with the dark screen now. please help me if u can find a way.

In ipad2021 (gen.9) accessibility is a separated option from general and is to be found in the same Cullum as general, a little lower
just search voice over by writing v and double tapping it then o tgen you can easily turn it off
