To the people who are concerned about Jim. We all can agree that we love him and Angie and their fur babies and want what is best for him. I worked as a nursing assistant. I have been and still am a caregiver to my 90 plus yr old Mom. He is doing fantastic for what he went thru. He is a grown man and can make up his own mind. He is aware of what he has to do. He is listening to his body.

Thank you for speaking out in their defense. I am 72 and a caregiver to my 39 year old son who had a car accident at age 22 which resulted in him being a paraplegic and a year after my son's accident my husband was diagnosed with early onset dementia. I take care of my husband too. There are challenging times but we get through it with faith and prayer and lots of kindness and positivity. Thank you again and love to you and your mom !
I also care for my Mom who turned "90" in August.
I consider it a gift to be able to do so...

I think Jim is doing amazing and not one person should criticize if we have not been in his shoes. He had major surgery and it hasn’t been that long. Please people be kind and considerate. Jim and Angie are truly special people ❤

Unbelievable that people could say such inappropriate comments. Jim is certainly doing as his doctors advised and Angie couldn't possibly be more of a loving wife. We're all thrilled how well Jim is doing and how fantastic Angie is to her husband...and her cats...and her raccoons...and taking care of all plus the house...and getting readly for Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee. That was a serious surgery, people remember Jim’s not 20. He’s a grown man and he has to do what is best for him. I think he’s doing great for his age and what he has gone through, that was no littler surgery. Angie is doing great with all these babies, Jim wouldn’t have it any other way. Hey, great to see that you feel like coming out to the deck tonight, Jim! Fantastic news about how your incision is healing! I can tell that the raccoons are glad to see you! That's why they are grabbing at you and biting at your boots. Angie, you are amazing at how you take care of the raccoons! They're getting so fat and ready for winter❤
It can take up to a year to completely heal from abdominal surgery. The gut is known as the second brain. And one of the lymphatic systems is located there as well. Walking and eating certain foods helps with relieving gas and fluids. 5 small light meals a day is easier on the body when it's busy healing. The body is healing from the inside out and that takes time and lots of energy. You'll get there before you know it.

I agree with JoanneBea, Jim is taking care of himself and doesn’t need busybodies telling him what to do. He has been through major surgery and he needs to rest at times. I had 3 raccoons come visit the other night! The amazing thing is I live in the suburbs of NY. You probably do believe it. I guess I am in disbelief because I have only seen 1 so far all Spring & Summer. Imagine my surprise when I opened my door and I saw 3 fluffernutters go flying up a big oak tree about 25 feet away.

I remember them, too! A family of high wire performers and famous for difficult high wire acts.

Don't let folks get ya down jim you've earned a break . Why I remember you worked so hard before you met Angie you wound up in the hospital trying to get your heart slow down from all the wide open running and chore doing keeping up with everything. You look great. I bet angie still can't get you to slow down, just a guess 😅. Them raccoons remember who their papa is. Soon as you set down, they were more coming out of the would work to meet you. Stand up really, pretty trying to shake your hand, and you nibble your boot 👢. To show affection from missing you. Angie has done great job feeding the little furbals . They look like they could tuck and roll like fat little bowling balls. Not one raccoons going hungry this winter or next😂😂😂. God bless

The wallendas were great. I never saw them in person, but i got to see video of them many times. Angie, some people don't realize just how intrusive surgery is; I'd just ignore them. Both of you are in my thoughts, take care of yourselves, get rest and enjoy the days before the snow flies.
