no this is genuinely a fear i have too!! my house was actually broken into CHRISTMAS EVE 6 years ago - none of my family was home at the time - but all my mom's purses, jewelry in the master bedroom were all stolen. to this day, in the back of my mind, i always worry about someone breaking in to my house...
