Well that was the weirdest goosebumps I've ever had, big-time nostalgia, love of this incredible song by what was an incredible band, for a moment hearing this took me back to my awesome college days, then I snap out of it and felt anger and utter repulsion at Watkins, the f*cking sh*tbag. I'll toss my 2 cents in. I heard this song on Pandora for the first time in a long time. It instantly brought back the memories of that time in my life. I didn't know about the situation with Ian until I googled them. Instantly I was upset. Upset in a very selfish way, because the memories that were/are associated with this CD now feel tainted and wrong. Almost like im ashamed to enjoy this band even though the band itself had nothing to do with it and Ian for better or worse was the identity of the band. Am I wrong to feel cheated? probably.
Even though it’s been many years now since Ian’s arrest and trial I still can’t get my head round it. I was a Lostprophets fan from the beginning, like I saw them nearly 20yrs ago when they were doing the tiny venues. They were a great band with some great songs and over the years I must have seen them live 20+ times and they always put on a great show. What Ian did was disgusting, shocking and I hope he never sees the light of day again. But don’t take away from the band that the music was good! The rest of the band don’t deserve to be tarred with Ian’s disgusting behaviour.
I only got to see them once, a few months before his arrest. They were fast becoming one of my favourite bands. As much as people say separate the art from the artist its impossible to have the same enjoyment with the elephant in the room of just how depraved he was. They had so many brilliant songs.

I enjoyed Lostprophets song and just learn the singer affair that is absolutely shocking. Good to see people having same feeling as mine feeling sick when hearing the song they loved. A criminal affair in France is about one singer who beat his girlfriend to death in Latvia and got 5 years jail (yes you read well) sentence and freed went to festivals, recorded songs, until women demonstration finally made him banned from TVs and large scenes. But still peope supporting him on youtube videos, I'll never play his songs again, and will do so for Lostprophets.

Lost Prophets Last Train Home is a good song, irrespective of what subsequently took place. However what I would say - I probably would not have actually taken the last train home with any of them.
I love the opening of the live version of Last Train Home... I've seen them twice and still not enough :(

Me parte el corazón saber que alguien con un talento tan increíble, pudo tomar un camino muy equivocado, sino se supiera del caso, y te hacen escuchar este tema y hacen ver este video, quedas enamorad@ de la música, quizás una chica, hasta del vocalista… Sin imaginar la mente perversa que es dominada por el mal.
No sé si talento, porque Ian en vivo no se escucha muy bien y muchos de los comentarios resaltan eso. Lostprophets en voces sonaba bien en los discos, pero en vivo dejaba mucho que desear.

No it’s not. The band mates knew, he was so openness, they didn’t care enough. When you tour with someone you are super close to them and their actions. Watkins spoke openly about sexually assaulting children as though it was a joke. People around him said he would always talk about children, and wanting to do things to them and if someone became upset he would say he was joking. I don’t but they knew him that long and knew nothing. I hope most people realize this and also realize the band mates were complicit for doing literally nothing,

Sascha Rieke thank you... that reason alone is why I still listen to these songs.... even though they are tainted due to Watkin's disgusting behaviour.... I still appreciate them because they influenced a lot my teen years.... I will always appreciate the LP for writting anthems for all of us.

Well that was the weirdest goosebumps I've ever had, big-time nostalgia, love of this incredible song by what was an incredible band, for a moment hearing this took me back to my awesome college days, then I snap out of it and felt anger and utter repulsion at Watkins, the f*cking sh*tbag. My thoughts are with the band, but I'm afraid listening to Lostprophets is going to have to be a once in a decade thing for me :(.
I'll toss my 2 cents in. I heard this song on Pandora for the first time in a long time. It instantly brought back the memories of that time in my life. I didn't know about the situation with Ian until I googled them. Instantly I was upset. Upset in a very selfish way, because the memories that were/are associated with this CD now feel tainted and wrong. Almost like im ashamed to enjoy this band even though the band itself had nothing to do with it and Ian for better or worse was the identity of the band. Am I wrong to feel cheated? probably.

Even though it’s been many years now since Ian’s arrest and trial I still can’t get my head round it. I was a Lostprophets fan from the beginning, like I saw them nearly 20yrs ago when they were doing the tiny venues. They were a great band with some great songs and over the years I must have seen them live 20+ times and they always put on a great show. What Ian did was disgusting, shocking and I hope he never sees the light of day again. But don’t take away from the band that the music was good! The rest of the band don’t deserve to be tarred with Ian’s disgusting behaviour.
I only got to see them once, a few months before his arrest. They were fast becoming one of my favourite bands. As much as people say separate the art from the artist its impossible to have the same enjoyment with the elephant in the room of just how depraved he was. They had so many brilliant songs.

I enjoyed Lostprophets song and just learn the singer affair that is absolutely shocking. Good to see people having same feeling as mine feeling sick when hearing the song they loved.
A criminal affair in France is about one singer who beat his girlfriend to death in Latvia and got 5 years jail (yes you read well) sentence and freed went to festivals, recorded songs, until women demonstration finally made him banned from TVs and large scenes. But still peope supporting him on youtube videos, I'll never play his songs again, and will do so for Lostprophets.

So sad I loved this band growing up and shocked when I found out the truth about the singer. It’s sad to know monsters live among us hidden in plain view right in front of us. The band and fans are also victims of this guy as well.
