    Hi Meghan! I was so glad to stumble across this video as I’ve always rough periods. The tips you’ve provided are super helpful and I will be implementing them. I will be trying the natural brand of tampons/pads you’ve recommended however they do contain less product and are more expensive understandably then conventional products. Do you know of any reusable/washable pad brands that you’ve tried and had success with that you’d recommend as well? Thank you so much and I appreciate your time. 😊

    This is great!! And seriously sooo accurate 🙌 I started taking a magnesium supplement 1 week before my period last month because I had had a chronic headache for 2 months, and even though it didn't help with the headache I did have my first period without taking pain medication 😍 Which is insane seeing I've used pain medication on my period for about 15 years 🤯

    I read the book "Cure" by Morley Robbins and learnt that we're all in iron overload from lifestyle, fortified foods, water and so on. The nutrient we actually need to utilize iron in the right way is copper! copper is so essential! i eat it in forms of bee pollen, whole food vit-C (camu camu, berries...), oysters and grass fed beef liver :)

    Not saying that eco friendly pads etc ain't to be used but when I started using biodegradable pads, I got a severe allergic reaction cause' they weren't as good in absorbing the blood as the cellulose ones. So be mindful n careful about what does n doesn't suit your body.

    • @natracare
      @natracare Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Manisha, we're sorry to hear this was your experience - were you using Natracare at the time? As our products don't contain Super Absorbent Polymers (SAPs) which often promote wearing pads for longer than is hygienic, we do recommend changing pads every 4-6 hours to avoid irritation. We hope this might be useful for you!

    So confused about caffeine now. Why does over the counter period medication (midol) containe caffeine? I’ve always heard that caffeine is supposed to relieve cramping.

    • @ShadowRaven66669
      @ShadowRaven66669 Před 2 lety +1

      Caffeine doesn't help cramps and can actually make cramps worse for some women. Midol has caffeine for the fatigue and as a diuretic to help reduce bloating.
