Can This Greasy Rangehood Filter Be Saved?

  • While working on a vacant apartment, I noticed the rangehood filter was caked in grease. I have been using the Goo Gone Oven and Grill cleaner but it seems like I can't find it or it's a little overpriced if I do. I decided to try out the Weiman's Stove and Oven since they had it at Menards and looked basically the same. Here's a look at how well it did. I just sprayed it on, let it sit and then washed it off. I could have scrubbed it with a brush to get it to clean up faster, but I wanted to see how well the product did on its own.
This is not a paid sponsorship or anything, just wanted to show a way to clean these filters without having to buy a new one.

Of course. You put it in your dishwasher and it comes out clean

If you had gone to a Round 5 I would've officially given you an OCD diagnosis. And that's after only one semester of junior college Introduction to Psychology class. Regardless, job well done and thank you for the video.

Haha, I know. I was just trying to see if the cleaner could actually get it clean on its own. I'm sure if I used a scrub brush it would have been done in 2 rounds.
