I see a lot of people say this comment and I have to disagree. I would bet the way it was constructed was that he wanted to use melanin as a joke and thought of things that would rhyme. From my perspective it seems a little forced but I know a lot of people disagree since many think it was clever.

Kwanzaa is celebrated around the same time as Christmas but mostly by African-Americans. Though most African-Americans celebrate Christmas as most are Christian (duh) quite a few celebrate Kwanzaa as a cultural event.

Im aware hes a politician now but he was in a radio show recently and hes still getting invites to musical stuff ;) , after all he is one of the 3 legends so dont come with that fucking attitude.
i get that this guy is okay with being a goofy comic but this is by the far the greatest comedic song of all time...and he really has a lot of talent as far as singing goes. I'm biased to this song because i definitely have a preference for black girls so every single word of this song hits home for me...but it's done in such an intelligent and funny way that it's just really awesome. i know he doesn't script it but it makes even funnier that right on cue when he says if you're a whitey...you're just not for me and the white girl in the room speaks up in such a typical defensive white girl way and voice. but as far as the song I'm the silent listening type but more than once sitting in a car by myself i had to literally laugh out loud gave a few loud woooooooooo's
My wife and I laugh like hell whenever this plays, she's black and I'm white. We tend to find the whole nonsense about people (in our experience mostly black folks) who have an issue with it.
That's because they are automated captions... It' a thingy CZcams made, but it never works correctly. It makes completely serious videos sound hilarious tho
