I agree with Scott on this one. Why label yourself as allergic and force your kids to go lactose and gluten free if they don’t have an actual lactose intolerance or celiac disease? Ridiculous.
Yep…people with real allergies can end up hospitalized and unable to breathe so it’s not a joke!
Maybe she uses the allergy card to make it more believable (it doesnt) but she probably just doesnt want to eat gluten and dairy because they’re really bad for you and shes into being all health conscious. Also you could argue that you’re ‘forcing’ your kids to eat dairy too, it goes both ways. You’re just a parent raising them there’s no ‘forcing’ to eat a certain way, they’ll grow up and cook for themselves and get to eat whatever
I get it all the time at the restaurant i work at. When ppl say they have a gluten allergy I say are you gluten free or celiac because you can’t eat anything here if your celiac and then they’re like oh it’s not that serious I can still eat it. So you’re not allergic then lol smh 🤦♀️

I don’t have a problem with anyone wanting to change their diets but putting an allergy label on themselves when there’s not is utterly ridiculous and wrong. As a mother of a child with multiple food allergies I am pretty offended. I would give anything for my child to have dairy, eggs and peanuts.

Dairy is the milk of another spices that humans only started consuming out of starvation. 2/3 of humans do not have the enzymes to digest it. Dairy is not healthy

I have a cousin that's allergic to so many things: eggs, gluten, lentils, chicken, soy, greens and beans and probably more, pollen, dust, mould. It affects his skin and lungs and he can never sleep soundly he's always crying from pain He's still a child and it's so sad that he can't eat things normal children eat we have to be very careful around him. Normal pizza, cakes, cookies he can't eat it. It's so hard to find products which are not cross contaminated since we're from a 3rd world country where it'ds hard to find this stuff.
So it's so annoying to see people who are perfectly healthy removing specific things from their diet for no reason and being fussy when people have actual diseases which prevents them from eating even a crumb or else they have to be hospitalised and be on so many medicines.
Yeah like me. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, so I have to avoid eating so many things

People without allergies will never understand. I suffered with allergies for years, thousands of Doctor consultations, no help. Until I started researching, I had to completely change my diet and now I'm allergyless, no fatigue.
People don't understand why my diet is so limited, but I don't boarder to explain as they'll never understand the pain I went through.

Choosing to be gluten free when you’re not gluten intolerant or allergic is not healthy but it’s such trend these days to go gluten free even though you don’t have to, ugh, people, you’re hurting yourself.
What the hell was he thinking to just waste all those gorgeous foods by throwing them away like that. So many people around the world don't even have enough foods and drinks to keep them alive yet he is here to waste all those foods. Sorry but I just can't watch people wasting foods and money.
But even if he ate it all insted of throwing it away those people would still not have food.even if he hadnt gone and bought all that,it wouldnt have affected those people in any way.

I just want to put it out there that I developed celiac disease after giving birth. I ate bread and naan and all wheat based stuff for 28 years with zero issues but after giving birth I had diarrhea and vomiting for 5 months and lost a shit tonne of weight and got bedridden until. Every single test came back negative. then my doctor FINALLY tested me for celiac disease and it came back positive. I've been gluten free for 1 month now and feel better now.
It looks like she feels like putting the allergy card out because her family doesn't support her in her Choice. She really wanted to change her diet but they were all like : "you are so extra" so she looked for a good excuse enough for them to let her be. Kourt can never really be herself with her family , they are always trying to make her do what she doesn't really like just because she should "fit" or in other to not being "boring" . Sorry for my bad english .
Ok I’m gluten and lactose intolerant, which means small amounts I’m fine, I’ll get bloated if I have half a piece of bread for instance but nothing severe. So I can “cheat” like I can have a biscuit or a coffee with regular milk and just be bloated that’s it. But if I have more than that my god my stomach starts to hurt so bad I can’t even sleep that night and even worse I can start throwing up. So he has no idea. Also I know it’s just for an episode so they have some content but people think like Scott all the time. Also allergens can happen any time in your life you can outgrow them and develop them. she’s not anaphylactic nor am I but allergies effect people differently. anyway regarding she’s actually allergic or not it’s her choice not to eat that stuff, so just let her be gluten really isn’t Good for your gut so let her live her life gluten free lol

But when you say you don't want to eat meat, drink, or whatever, people will pressure you into doing those things and it's really annoying. Its a question of how much Gluten at the time. I ate 7 Days only wheat and Honey and got serious bumps on my skin and a swollen face. I never before in my life reacted that much to wheat - but after 7 Days only wheat it got me heavily. So i think it is good that Courtney is restricting herself from time to time - it is just 80% Gluten in nowadays Wheat - it did not use to be that high of a concentration- it was at 20% years ago. Things change - give Courtney a Break.
What he did was so disrespectful.
I don't have lactose or gluten intolerance at a high level. But when I have them I get severe acne and a bad rash. I didn't know until I stopped eating gluten and dairy. My skin cleared and I stopped scratching. I do have them from time to time and regret it immediately. I get a rash so bad it doesn't go away for a long time.

I’m a coeliac myself I have to have a strict diet..
As a person who is allergic to egg and has been all my life people like Kourtney do not know how isolating it is. For example, a classmate bakes cupcakes for the class because it’s their birthday and you can’t have any because your allergic to egg and you just have to watch everyone else enjoy the cake and talk about how it takes like this other you can’t have, that has eggs in it. A food allergy occurs when the immune system reacts to a harmless food. A food intolerance occurs when the body has a chemical reaction to eating a particular food or drink. That could be what kourtney is experiencing,but A food allergy occurs when the immune system reacts to a harmless food. Like Scott said you can’t cheat on allergies. If I could have one day where I could go out with my family or friends and eat any and everything And not be the person that everyone has to work around or have to cancel plans because the stress of what to eat , will I be judged for getting that is too much. I know to some people this sounds like I’m ranting about nothing but I genuinely annoys me that she talks about having an allergy when she has no idea what having an allergy really feels like.

I don’t eat dairy because I’m vegan. But before I was vegan is still didn’t want to have dairy. I just think it’s personal preference. I get really get disgusted by milk products in general
