Let's be honest--Jadzia Dax is probably one of the most attractive female characters of Star Trek Deep Space Nine, let alone Star Trek as a whole.
...but this nut has the balls to ask the question many of us never would, and receives an answer that's hard to be let down by.

Uhh, this episode... It made Jadzia appears to be an idiot. He fell in love with a guy with no personality in like a day and planned to leave her friends and Starfleet for him. Some priorities...
xxlCortez I never quite get how long Star Trek episodes are in universe. Sometimes they reference days passing with no indication that days have passed, since they're in space. So she could have been there longer than it seems, time was compressed for the TV slot. That said, this was hardly the best DS9 episode, though I think the Curzon side of her does leave her prone to passionate, reckless romances.
I agree. I thought Dax was the wise ageless, but humorous one. This seemed so out of character.
@@DivinePearl Iirc they even said this is out of character of her in the episode, but simple self awareness doesn't make a good story imo
Although i agree that ots stupid to see such a wise young (oldman) woman can just leave everything and everyone behond for a random love... So instead i try to see it as dax really has been living a physically long life and would have love to experience a non physical dimension so Dax was willing to give up everything and Persue a new experience/path. Then it makes more sense.
Wait til he finds out Dax has a symbiote and was an old man in her former life. Should be required disclosure to any potential lover.
And has been a woman... and other men... and other women... before that. Both a mother and a father, etc. Required disclosure? Sure, but not because she's some kind of "used to be a man", or trap or anything like that. Jadzia is entirely female and always was while Dax has, for want of a better word, worn many skins and is more or less sexless.
But getting involved with someone who has 10x your life experience is no small thing. (She'd not only have all the experiences that Dax directly lived but also all the experiences Dax's hosts - including Jadzia - had before being joined. That's no small thing.)
