Oh my goodness!!😲I just got goosebumps reading your comment! I just read it aloud to the fam. You have no idea how happy that makes us. You’re all going to have a blast!!!!! More people need to visit Baguio, even the locals. It’s underrated to me. As soon as you start driving up the mountain roads you’ll start to see waterfalls. No one even told us about them. I mean. The vibe is so chill there. Please message me on Instagram: @MomDuty if you have any questions. I can help with some suggestions. You’ll fall in love with Baguio just like we did🥹🫶🙌⛰🇵🇭
Your travels are a great way for your kids to learn history and culture!!!
It really is! They are taking it all in. Especially here in the Philippines, where Nelvine was born. Loooove traveling and seeing the world!

Thanks a million George!🙏Wow! We really appreciate all the love my friend!🫶
Eventually I will get to Baguio and it would be fun to go there during the winter time as not every place in the Philippines gets as cool as it does there. I enjoy learning about history and there's so much history that can be found throughout the Philippines. March 24th my wife, mother in law and I will leave for the Philippines from Los Angeles and get to enjoy our very short flight of 15 hours. We will take a few days to go to Bataan and I wish that we could spend some time in Subic Bay. There is a strawberry farm in Alfonso, Cavite called Queens Strawberry Farm. That is in the same province that we live in.
Hi Steven! You definitely have to make it to Baguio. I highly recommend it! You will fall in love with the beautiful mountains, fresh mountain air and the rich culture it shares. How exciting!!!! It’s right around the corner. You’re going have to have such a wonderful time. How long will you be here for? Any plans or just visiting family?
凄く楽しいね、it's ultimately an explosion of fun. Nice going 👍
Sooooo much fun! My goodness we love Baguio! I want to visit every February.lol.🇵🇭The energy and excitement is so grand and contagious! Love it!🌼🇵🇭
Thank you for visiting my hometown. Try to visit Sagada next time. ❤
Ok adding it to our travel list!👏Thanks for the recommendation. I already looked it up. It’s north of Baguio. I wonder if it’s cooler there like Baguio.
You guys are amazing. Family teamwork

Yes! Definitely! We visited back in 2019 before the pandemic. Knox and Nia got to meet most of Nelvine’s family in Pampanga. They even got to see where Nelvine was born. Such a beautiful moment for them🥹👨👧👦

Grew up in Manila....but Baguio will always be our comfort place 😊
Aww thanks awesome! Where in Manila? I love Manila, it has a special place in our hearts. But you’re right, there’s something unique and comforting in Baguio. It felt so home-y. We loved the vibes up there. Next time, we gotta stay longer. So fun!
I've been to Baguio before the pandemic. It's such a nice place.
That great to hear! Isn’t it such a beautiful mountain town? I hope you get to go again. Such a great break to breath in some fresh air. I love the feel of Baguio! I miss it🇵🇭☺️

Wow much fun... See u idol shut out one mackenly place housekeeping...
I miss One McKinley Place and everyone there!😭😭😭I want to come back and say hi 👋
You’re the man MELVYN. I hope I spelled your name right. You are so funny. Sorry Rocio I like him so much. Your twins are so adorable, very smart kids. And of course I love Rocio the most because you are real good story teller. I wonder how you’re able to know the history and full detailed info of the things and places you’re visiting, on the spot. That’s clever. Love watching your blogs.❤
No problem my friend….I like Nelvine so much too🤪😆He makes me laugh every single day.lol. Plus I really admire all the hard work he puts in with editing these videos. I don’t know how he does it. As for knowing all the history of each location…..we do hours of research. But it’s great because we learn so much and we get to teach the kids too☺️
WHAT I WENT TO THE SAME PLACES EXCEPT THE CAMP PLACE love the channel soooooo much ❤️❤️❤️🦄🇵🇭🦋
Thanks a million Audrina!🎊You’d love the Camp John Hay place. It’s like staying in a cozy cabin. Loved it!
Wow 😮 the negativity cemetery is such a cool thing! I love it, get rid of that negativity 👏🏼
Yup! I did NOT know how to feel about it.lol. It felt like a real cemetery to me. I kept telling the kids to not step on the gravestones🤦♀️They’re like “mom, it’s not a real cemetery”🙄😆🤣
@@MomDuty 😆 I would have probably felt the same way.
Such a wonderful experience" btw strawberry is best dipping in nutella haha
Uh oh….gonna tell the kids😜They LOVE Nutella! They’re so happy there’s Nutella here in the Philippines because not all countries around the world carry it. We’re so spoiled here🇵🇭🫶😭
@@MomDuty yes for sure the kids will like it.. 💯❤️😉😃👍
MomDuty and the kids should have a tiktok with them dancing ting ting ting tang tang. 😅
Haha! They love doing the Ting Ting dance😂it’s such a catchy song right? We do have a tik tok but haven’t posted all our Philippines stuff yet. Will do 🫡
You forgot to visit baguio city museum..the oh my gulay restaurants with its unique design..baguio xity hall..PMA..and more
I am so glad you are enjoying my homeland. My favorite is MINES VIEW PARK. Did you see those boys down below trying to catch those coins people were tossing to make a wish. Last time I visited there was a warning sign "no longer allowed".
We love your hometown my friend! You can feel the difference right when you start driving on those mountains. The fresh mountain air just gives Baguio a different vibe.
I heard about that but we didn’t see anyone catching coins. I heard it’s not allowed anymore. Hope no one got hurt trying to catch coins.
strawberries smell really nice
And they tasted delicious!🤤🍓🍓🍓🍓
Wow
Thanks a million Danielito!🫶
Nice to see you guys visit my birthplace. Had lots of great memories there as a kid. But then we migrated to the SF Bay Area.
Btw, it's pronounced Bag-yoh or Bag-yoe. Not Bag-yao or Bag-yow like Manny Pacquiao.
Ahhh you were born here? Lucky. This place is absolutely breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back. That’s how much I love it! How’s the Bay Area treating you? Now you gotta come back and visit. Philippines misses you🥹🇵🇭Oh gosh I know🙈So embarrassing….I kept saying bag-yow. Now I under its bag-yo. Thanks for teaching me☺️
Wow these kids are smart
Oh thank you Ignacio! So sweet of you to say☺️Love these lil munchkins of mine👧🏻👦🏻
Hi Momduty we mis u maam
We miss you too Rodrigo!🥹😭We have to come back to see you one more time before we leave to Japan😭😭😭😭
Try Sagada I dont know if it is still cold there now... you'll enjoy the extreme cold weather there especially during December until Amihan season ended... while exploring the trails of Marlboro hills x Blue soil.. or do spelunking in Sumaging Cave, and short trails to The Cemetry of natives that will lead you to the Hanging coffins ⚰️ 👍 👌 😊
Ahh ok good to know about another cool town. Is this north of Baguio? I think someone else mentioned something about a cave also. Sounds fun and exciting!
@MomDuty Sagada is 4 hours away from Baguio... you will also see the Banaue Rice Terraces along the way... little trivia, the locals of ifugao eat smoked pork there called Etag, I think They used that meat in majority of their dishes.. a little smoky flavor of filipino dishes & westernized menu. That town is secluded they still practice their ifugao culture there.
❤❤❤
Thanks for the love!
When you hit Baguio in the future, try Hill Station and Oh My Gulay (vegetarian).😊
Ahhh yes…..we missed Oh My Gulay! I was so bummed. We should’ve extended our trip another for days. There is so much to do in Baguio. I miss it so much😭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
@@MomDuty 🙂 Baguio is not going anywhere… it’ll be happy to have you back soon.
You misses the Baguio Orchidarium and the Forrest bathing trail inside the Camp John Hay
Yes we did😩I wish we made made more time to see it all. It’s such a beautiful property. I would’ve loved to go hiking too! The mountain fresh air felt so good🙌
Are you going to be visiting Costa Rica again or maybe visit a new country in Central America?
Did you wash the strawberry before tasting?😲 I was just wondering coz many tourists eat them without washing. I'm from that town and I know what kind of water the gardeners use to irrigate the plants. 😀
We saw some people just eating them as is. But Nelvine did wash our strawberries using our water bottles. I didn’t even think of that🙈Thanks for the heads up. You’re amazing. Hopefully people/tourists watching this vlog will read the comments about washing the strawberries👍
Oh dude you almost hit the whole joke 😂. Is too berry (strawberry) good. Hopefully you guys make it back to Baguio soon and not during the rainy season. But then again rainy and foggy Baguio is another charm the city has
Lol!🤣Oh my gosh…the kids were so done with the “Berry good” joke.lol🤭It was so not funny anymore that Nelvine had me cry laughing😭😆You are right! One of the reasons we love Baguio is because of that cool mountain fresh air. Love that feeling! We all warmed up around the fire at Camp John Hay at night. It was so cozy. We’ll never forget it🥹
@@MomDuty hopefully the next time you guys come and visit it will be longer. It would’ve been so good if you guys experienced session road during Sunday when it was closed to let people use it as their canvas to create their art.
Were you in the Float parade?
I wish we had made it to the Grand Float parade but we didn’t. We were there the first week of February. It was such a blast though! So many festivities!🌼🌸🌼🇵🇭
What happened to the Military cemetery there, I wonder?
I believe the Baguio City Veterans Cemetery is still there. It’s down Loakan Road from Camp John Hay.
🥰🥰🇵🇭
Beautiful Baguio!🌼🇵🇭🌼🇵🇭
❤️❤️❤️🍓🍓🍓
I see you Frankie!🫶🫶🫶🫶
I’ll be back! 😝 that’s Arnold Schwarzenegger ! 🤣
Haha🤣😂I thought the same thing when Knox said that.lololo!🤭
😝
I hope you washed the strawberries before eating it.
Sure did. It’s a habit.lol. But i saw people just pick them and eat them too🤷♀️🤪they were so friggin’ good and juicy🤤
If you think that's a bit pricey well my mom orders it online for 1,040 pesos for a kilo of strawberries from the Philippines but I guess it's bc she's buying it online so they have to ship it and all that I guess
We thought it was pricey for sure🫢😋but the while experience and freshness of the strawberries was soooo worth it! 💯Your mom must LOVE strawberries. I didn’t even know you could buy fruit from the Philippines?😲🇵🇭Thats amazing!!! Yeah I’m sure they add the shipping.
Those strawberries are way too expensive, here in Canada, while picking strawberries in the farm, you can eat all you can.
la trinidad is not part of baguio city, its a municipal of benguet province..
Got it! Thanks for clarifying 👍👍👍👍
The woman who guided you through the farm was also the woman who guided us through the farm
No way! How cool. She’s so sweet🥰We asked her if we could put her on the vlog but she was so shy. Love her🥰☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
@@MomDuty im pretty sure i saw yall at the manor. I didn't bother because i was still processing if it was you guys.
it"s pronounce BAG-YOH not BAG-YAW. i love watching your vlogs..
Thank you for clarifying🙈Ahhhh I kept trying to catch myself🙈I even asked the hotel staff and they corrected me but I kept slipping🙈So embarrassing. Sorry🤭
it took me until today to realize that you guys have been pronouncing Baguio a bit wrong 😆 its "Bag-Yoh"
Ahhh I know🙈Sorry Klevin.lol. Sometimes I pronounced it correctly and then I would slip and say it wrong🙈I keep getting confused🙈
12 Oct 23 guess who ? When the camp was bombed, the U.S. probably didn't want to pay to fix it up SO here, I think this place belongs to you. Our son often went
paint ball shooting with his friends - lots of bruise spots because they hurt. Time 11 min. in and that hill with all the homes on top of each other are just waiting for
the next big rain storm. No thanks - back in the late 50's I was a young teen and I would pick strawberries, raspberries for my summer money. I bought my first
bicycle - 1956 - with my berry money. You really needed a long thumb nail - if possible because we had to take the berry with out the stem. Raspberries were easy to
pick - just don't eat too many as you go, no money that way.
Hello again my friend! It’s always so nice to hear from you! Great story about you earning your first bicycle. Can’t wait to tell Knox and Nia your story. Haha…don’t eat too many berries on the way or else no money.lol. Wish I could see pictures of you in the 1950’s. Wow! So awesome!!! Tell your wife Janet we say hello 👋
