I believe Amanpulo is one of the most expensive beach resorts in Philippines, if not, the most expensive. It looks beautiful and relaxing but may not be as lively as Boracay. I’ve stayed in Boracay, Bohol, Palawan, and I have to say Boracay is my favorite of the three, simply because it’s obviously beautiful, relaxing, and lively at the same time. Can’t wait to go back to Boracay with my wife and son. It’s been almost 20 years since the last time I went to Boracay.

I’m so happy you brought this up. I don’t know if it was Shangri-La or Boracay in general but the buko was DELICIOUS! I was have about 3 a day😳😳😳So fresh and not bitter at all🤤🥥
#3 my wife breaks out her karaoke mike, sets up the flat screen and goes for it. Typical Filipino, it is loud so I try to find a spot in the house to hide out for an hour.

I'm curious to know where the staffers of Shangri-la live? Outside or inside the resort? If inside, you save on rent. If outside, how much do they make to afford living in Boracay. Must be the best type of work -- hardly any stress perhaps than working in Manila?

That's a nice resort. In my opinion, Boracay is overrated. It's way too touristy and not much to do besides the beach. El Nido, Coron, and Siargao are much nicer and have lots of stuff to do outside the resorts.
Ahhh Boracay is just so beautiful! The sunsets never get old. But I heard Siargao is AMAZING! Going to plan a trip there next. Can’t wait to feel the difference!🏝️

I know of content creators who does this stuff and I feel that resorts/restaurants are forced to obligate and give free room and board/food because content creators that have have to pay out of pocket will just leave a bad review because it wasn't free.....just curious.😉🤔
