  • I was a bit sceptical on how better new GSF/FIGs/RR racing bushings would be, but after replacement, I cant believe how big of a difference it is. Car is not the same anymore, its super drivable and precise now.
    Highly recommended to everyone who owns one of these and doesn't like wobbly steering and vibrations.
    I share some tips and tricks when replacing those to make it easy and fun. Enjoy

    Thank you so much this video helped me a whole lot!! I have a 2014 is350 and I know the bushings are bad because it rattles over small bumps and my steering waddles and vibrates when braking

    Cool video, awesome job. First what kind of lift is that? Doesn’t look like it’s built into the floor. Second question I have to do this job for my gs350 and since I don’t have a lift can I just preload the suspension from the lower rotor/lower control arm before torquing the bolt?.

      @MechAdventures  Před 2 měsíci +1

      its this lift - FHB3000-03-SS-2300 -- you can preload suspension from bottom of knuckle.

    Are the RR Racing bushings better than OEM? Or does it not matter? I want better handling on my Lexus GS350 AWD and was looking at their Coilovers, lower, and upper controls arms.

    Why did you decide to stay stock? I would have at least upgrade to Megan racing ones

    Great informative video, what grease did you use and is it needed think factory is without grease. Want to replace my is350 with rcf lca to reduce inner tyre wear

    • @MechAdventures
      @MechAdventures  Před rokem +1

      Thank you. I cant say for sure whether factory used grease when new or not, but sure enough it wont hurt it to do it now, to prevent squeaking. I used lithium based grease, but any grease will do. The heavier grease the better as the area gets splashed by water there.

    I'm just curious which offset bracket arm did you used as replacement if ever mentioned since lexus catalog offers a -20, 00 and +20 offset brackets. Just don't want to make any mess to my suspension

    Do you think the Polyurethane option from Fig is good ?
    I'm afraid its going to share load to other bushing and wear them out since the new ones will be very still. What do you think ?

    Hey man! So I forgot to preload that one bolt that goes through the bushing. When I wake up in the morning, I’d like
    To fix that. Would I be able
    To simply raise the car, loosen it up to 20ft lbs or so, lower the car and then torque it to spec again?
