I would've made a number of changes to Tic Tac Dough and Joker's Wild if they had renewed for the 1986-1987 season, first, fire Dan Enright, lure Jim Peck to host instead of Cullen, lure Wink back, reel in Ron Greenberg instead, shoot at a more expansive soundstage like either Hollywood Center Studios or Paramount Studios. Also, double the cash winnings to $1,000 and double the categories values, too. And most importantly, computerize the credits!
Richard Kline and half the crew left Barry and Enright to form his own company, so it would be impossible and besides, the two Merv Griffin game shows (Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune) had much higher ratings in the syndication lineup. On the other hand, Barry and Enright teamed with Wink Martindale Enterprises and the Canadian Global Television to form "Bumper Stumpers" for the USA Network.
