Aloha, Amanda & Felix: Today is Sunday and I want to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER! I loved this cafe series. Perfect mellow episode for this week. Thank you for pointing out all of these wonderful coffee places. Some new coffees now that I want to try now and not to mention the food. Croissant seemed bomb, that sandwich and the burrito looked so ono too. Everything seemed pleasant to the palate. Have an awesome day, again Mahalo Plenty!

Tradition coffee roasters was our go to when we lived there. The employees knew us because we were there so often. 😂 they were all so nice and the coffee is amazing!

I think I went to the Kauai Coffee Co cafe about three times during my trip last year.
I just finished the coffee from there and the usual one doesn't seem as special.
The ground coffee I got from Lappert's smelled amazing but it became a souvenir for my cousin.
I work in the building right across the street from common ground. Didn't know they have such good croissants. Will have to try!
It's a pricey but so flakey! 🤤
Felix...FYI...Coffee at Common Ground served in "demi-tasse" cup(Fr=half-cup)normally reserved for espresso servings. Enjoy your Easter weekend

Is the AC Hotel recent addition? Coz I know for the Longest time, the Aston Executive Center, right down on Hotel/Bishop...was the only hotel in downtown HNL.

Los Angeles is a hotbed for high quality independent coffee houses so when I was coming to Honolulu I was very underwhelmed. I had tried 6 in the Waikiki and Kapahulu areas. That is until I tried the Honolulu Coffee Company. Very fine quality coffee drinks. They could give the LA shops a run for their money. I will definitely try some of the places you mentioned here. Thanks!😁

Happy Easter. I was at the airport on Sunday and Tuesday at the baggage claim and I always talk to the people and they always ask me where is there a good place to eat. I have been telling them to watch Amanda & Felix Eats on youtube ( is that ok with you guys.) If you like i can put a small sign on my moped because i'm all over painting over graffiti and people are always talking to me.

Usually any pho restaurant will have good Vietnamese coffee! If you just want the coffee then Thangs is pretty good! 🤙

Not sure why it caught my eye, but I did get a chuckle out of it. The cup handle on the Cortado was so small that at first, Felix had to drink it with his pinky up. It must have been awkward for him cuz he changed his hold and then his fingers looked like they got all crunched up. Guess it had to be served in that smaller cup.
He did have a hard time! 😅 he usually just drinks cold coffees haha
