True friendship
At night I dreamt of him
The one who has my cure;

Forgiveness is a cloth
That yearns for dirt to clean
Just bow yourself as dust
Then rise up with new sheen!
So be in love with the
Remorse that comes truly
Like rain that soothes the land
That was sunburnt cruelly
Upon a sea we sail
Up high then low the trend
May He who has the helm
Steer us to goodly-end!

I lost a very close friend on 7/4/24; she was the one who Allah swt sent into my life (when we were in the peak of our youth, living away from home at Uni!) to strengthen my connection with Him swt - may Allah swt bless her with the highest maqam in jannatul firdaus & grant her the Intercession of Rasulullah saaw, Ameen Allahumma Ameen ❤

with reverence just the same
For when you hear “Allah”
by this great man proclaim
recite it from your core
tremble and say His Name
