I'm 82 yrs old and started riding in 1964. Ducati, Ducati, Yamaha, Norton Atlas and a '69 CB750 Honda. Rode the Honda for 11 years then sold it in '81 and quit riding until 2020 when I bought my Harley Davidson FXST Softail Standard. What a machine! I absolutely love it. At my age, this bike fills my needs perfectly. It gobbles up the road effortlessly. Wish I had gotten one a long time ago. Harleys have soul! (USA)

My story is similar to yours. I started riding at an early age back in the early 70's on dirt/motocross bikes, then transitioned into street bikes as I got older. I Owned and rode many different types and styles of bikes over those years, but never owned a Harley. I Went 25 years without riding anything at all, then bought a new HD Lowrider S in 2020. I cannot explain to you just how different the Harley Davidson is from other motorcycle brands I've been on, but there really is something special about them that can't be explained. It's really an incredible machine!
Awesome, hope i'm able at your age but doubt it. Standard is basically what i have with slightly smaller cc, The 114 Streetbob. bet you love the torque and i found nothing out there for smiles per gallon you get with these machines, and i have been on lots even the new Rocket 3.
I own a 2018 Heritage Softail Classic that I purchased new. I love the bike! For an older guy like me, it's light and nimble compared to the Road King, for example. I'm 5' 11" (180.34 cm), and the bike fits me like a glove. I made several modifications and upgrades to it. If you remove the saddlebags, rear seat and windshield, you have yourself an H.D. Heritage Softail Deluxe. I highly recommend this bike for cruising or touring.

I'm 68 .. I learned to ride at 16 on my brother's Honda 305. My favorite was my Norton 750. I took it to Hawaii in the 70's. I owned it for 20 years and am sorry I ever sold it. Couple weeks ago I got my first Harley .. a '90 Sportster ... hey, it was $1500 ... but I'm now an official Harley owner :-)

The 305 was my first love.
After retiring during the virus and sitting around for 3 months I decided I wanted to get back into riding again because it was a way to social distance and get out of the house...
I wanted a Harley but lucked into a Yamaha V Star for cheap...
Rode it a year and decided I really wanted a Harley, so I went to a local dealership to check out the touring bikes.
Sat on a standard Ultra but because I'm only 5'7" I couldn't even sit flat footed...
Gave up on an Ultra until I found out the Ultra Low came out in 2014...
Bought the second one I looked at...
I was a little intimidated at the size and weight at first, but after watching a few videos of the riding skills needed for that large of a motorcycle, I adapted quickly...
Ridden over 30K miles now, and absolutely love it!!
I think starting out on the V Star, a 600lb motorcycle, was a great way to stair step up to my Harley...

I'm 6'1" and 120kg. I bought my first bike at 20, and I have had Japanese bikes on and off ever since. I did not get my first Harley until aged 56 and it was (is) a 2013 Sportster XL1200 Custom. Aged 57 I now have a 2020 Harley Fat Boy, and at this stage I have no desire to get rid of the Sportster 1200 as each rides completely differently! One is for having riotous unbridled fun, and the other is for laid back passionate cruising. I'm sure you can guess which is which...

Just got my first Harley, a 2011 Dyna wide glide. I absolutely love it. I have owned metric cruisers and i like them just fine but theres just something intangible about riding a harley. Everything else is a distant second for me.
I live in the southern U.S. Just found your channel and subscribed. I feel like your channel is great for me. I used to want a bike since I was 2 years old. I became an adult and got a job and went to some college. When I turned 41 I decided I wasn't getting younger and I wanted to fulfill that dream of having a bike. I knew I wanted to get a harley because my grandfather had one when I was little and I just liked the sound. Keep in mind, that was 3 years ago. I started buying gear in January 2021. Once I had what I needed to ride with, I took my MSF course in Oct 21. Passed first try. I never rode any motorcycle before but learned to drive manual transmission so I was familiar with how it worked and the principle. I rode mountain bikes all through my teens, so I was familiar with body position and counter lean. I just had to get the feel of it on heavier rides rather than mountain bikes. MSF course was on a street 500. I enjoyed it but not the sound or the look. So I started looking for what harley I wanted. I kept paying off some debt and buying more gear. I now have 3 helmets, 3 jackets, 3 sets of gloves, 3 riding boots. It's been 3 years since I started this journey and I just finally bought my first motorcycle. I bought a 2016 Harley Roadster. I had my eye on this bike from a non-harley dealer for 9 months. I'm happy no one bought it before me because I really like it. I'm waiting on delivery of it from the dealer and I'm going to start in our neighborhood as there's not alot of traffic. I also bought cones and I'm going to go through some of the msf courses on my own to get used to the bike and riding in general. I'm so excited and can't wait. I wanted to also make sure I could get a harley sportster line bike with the evo engine because of the discontinuation of the engine. Thanks for reading for those that do. I'm so excited to start my motorcycling journey. I remember the thrill of riding when I was a kid on mountain bikes riding on the roads and I look forward to enjoying that feeling again.

I'm 70 years old and started riding a Harley trike when I was 12 and have ridden and owned many brands of bikes but now I own a PanAm and a Street Glide along with a 650 Royal Endfield Commander. I love them all and enjoyed your good and informative video. I will ride well into my 80's with the help of God.

After owning many bikes for over fifty years and after buying 6 HD’s brand new since 2003, I have found a much better bike for me in the BMW R18. A retro style cruiser. I recently ordered a 2022 Low Rider S 117. I visited an HD dealer once there was a demo bike available and took it for a test ride over various roads. It was a nice bike and as I left the dealership I had some doubts. Next door was another dealership so I walked in and saw the R18 First Edition. What a bike! Priced less than the HD, included radar cruise control, heated grips, shaft drive, three riding modes, adaptive braking and headlight, self cancelling indicators, triple disc brakes, 158nm torque, hand painted white pin striping on black and more. Very little difference in riding feel although the R18 is a bit heavier but much smoother when cruising and instant torque. I cancelled the Lowrider order and bought the R18. So I guess I’m over the HD thing although I still ride with a group of HD riders. Interesting to see which bike receives the most attention when parked up in a group… no surprises there!

I purchased my first bike at 50 years old. Im 5foot 11 180 lbs. I purchased the 115 anniversary Sportster 48. Love it ! And ive been riding for 5 years now. Have a 2 up seat and my wife and i ride around the Ozarks in Missouri. My next Harley will be the Pan America.

A couple years ago I started my riding on a 08 electra glide classic. I spent a a good 2 months getting to know how to handle it and not going on long trips, just practicing and easing my way into regular riding. It was great fun, and after nearly 2 years of becoming as well versed in the heavy bike I switched to a new road glide. It’s a lot more maneuverable and fun than people think. You can go straight for a long time if you want, or you can get into twistier roads easily. It’s not impossible to start on the bike you want, if you have discipline and put in the work.
Yep, I agree. The touring bikes are more fun and easier to ride than people think.
Finally, someone understands. That's exactly I told my wife few years ago. She started with the older Breakout 107. I showed her how for few months and she passed the test from Harley Riding Academy. After that, she rode my Vrod Muscle, Street Glide ST and now she has the new Breakout 117 and loving it. Attitude is important and lots of patience.
I am a from the midwest in America and I have always loved lowriders of any kind, mostly older cars, lots of spokes, dropped down with that gangsta lean. However I recently got a "Vicla" or whatever you would like to call them.... Softail deluxe. I just love the old achool look with that gangster lowrider style plus they are super comfortable. Yeah people joke and have lots of different names but for the most part over here we just call them a lowrider.
Always great content and perspective. I'm a 54yr old and only licenced for 3 1/2 years so in Feb (when LAMS restriction ended) I upgraded from v-star 250 to the Ultra Limited and I use it everyday even to commute to work in the CBD. Certainly a large bike but absolutely great and thankfully easy to lane filter in. If I was to get a second it would be the breakout.

Oct 2021 i went into the dealer just to look around, spotted the Streetbob and they offered test ride, asked me when i last rode, i said 13 years ago on a CBR150, needless to say even though i had forgotten everything i bought it, now after 200 hours of good you tuber videos, police safe course and 4500 miles i have grown to love it, i have other bikes too not Harley and managed to clock up around 10000 miles in 18 months, nothing beats the 114, its had a stage 1 and V&H mini grenades, Saddleman seat, sissy bar, engine bar nice for foot rest and a mephis shades screen for wind protection, i love the torque and non Harley riders just don't get it, best bikes out there, got the new Monster & XSR900 they don't come close, but they are lighter and easy depending on how i feel as i get bad fatigue. Harley was a childhood dream and i waited 30 years to get my softail. And it is possible to learn on one if you go steady, but i would not recommend it tbh especially with mini apes or any high bars.

Congrats to you on a very well done video. Entertaining, informative and held my interest until the end. Best ride I ever had was on a trip out to Glacier National Park June 2019. I rented a Heritage Classic and it was the best bike trip ever. The next year we planned to ride around Lake Michigan and I rented a Street Glide which turned out to be too big for me to handle. So I'm a Heritage Classic guy.

I'm 72 an Aussie living in Thailand and riding a honda rebel, I've travelled all over Thailand 60000 km in 5 years, I've done the famous Mae Hong Son loop many times clockwise and anticlockwise around 1860 very tight curves over beautiful mountains, hundreds of bikers do this loop on all sorts of bikes from humble scooters to BMW, triumph, Suzuki Yamaha etc etc, but I can count on 1 hand the harley Davidsons, there are hundreds of Harleys in Thailand but most of them are posers who don't go anywhere, I would love to own a harley bagger to use on my trips as I am often riding 600 km + per day but unfortunately they are out of my price range at 1 million baht about 45,000 Aud and that's second hand ,but if I did have one at least I would use it, thanks for a great video

Have had a VRod, LowRider S, 2 RoadGlides, an ElectraGlide Ultra & now a 2005 Road King…. I think my overall favorites have been the LowRider S( so much fun!!) & the Road King(she’s so light on her feet and has great ground clearance). Surprisingly for me, my favorite dresser was the ElectraGlide.. fairing just seemed to work better for me even though I like the RG looks better. I’ve only put a little over a thousand miles on the RK(work and winter suck!), gonna break her in this summer.

Just got a 2018 Road King. I needed a mule not a race horse. I needed a bike that I could ride everyday or go long distance on. I might need to carry a mini fridge on it or multiple cases of beer.
It’s got enough lean angle I can carve corners fairly well. The ground clearance is enough to ride on a dirt road.
The Road King is pretty much the perfect mule for me.
Plus, I don’t mind windshields too much but I hate fairings.
RK is an awesome bike
I'm 70 (but still 25 in my head!) and a lifelong bike nut. I live in the UK and ride a 2008 Softail Custom. At 6' 3" it suits me fine, stage 1, Vance and Hines big radius 2 into 2 exhaust, 16" apehangers. My dream bike, it does everything I need, cruising or touring. Dig your channel!

You were right, this is another great video! I’m very fortunate to have two bikes. I have a Street Glide for the longer rides, and a Street Bob for the in town rides. It would be very difficult to pick one if I had to. Each one serves a different purpose.

I'm on a Road King Special. Built into a kind of murdered out vicla/hotrod style. I like the Road King because it's the best of both worlds... I can pop my fairing on or off as needed and there's no electronics to age and make the bike look dated in a few years. I use Bluetooth audio in my helmet for music, and a phone mount for GPS and music controls. It's sleek, it's simple, it's light, and it's timeless. And the roads here in Idaho are to die for! Endless blacktop ribbons through all the mountains you can handle.

Just purchased an 06 Heritage Softail Classic. First Harley that I've bought, but have ridden the V-rod and Heritage models before. Been riding since 1977 on Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, some were good, some not so good. Have enjoyed putting lots of miles on the 1982 Yamaha Maxim 750 and the 1999 Kaw. Concours. Anxious to see how those miles are on this Harley. Don't have plans to Customize, just maybe change a couple of things to suit me. I'm 5'10, 180 lbs, 65 yrs old, and do like the protection aspect of the big baggers, but didn't want all that weight. Have large Windscreen and hand wind deflector on this Heritage. Just started watching your channel, I like your content.

I enjoy your videos very much. I am currently riding a 2011 streetglide. I think it’s the best bike I have owned. I got it used with 3600 miles on it. I’ve got over 65000 on it now. The year before last, I took it out on a 12 day run to Colorado and back from Maine. Great ride on that bike.

My wife and I say big!! We’ve traveled all over the country (US) on my Ultra Classic. Sometimes we’ve put 12 hour days in the saddle and felt fine behind the batwing. We love touring.

My father in-law is in his 80s and still rides. A few years back he asked if I would like to ride with him and his friends in Austria. Obviously, yes. I'm Canadian and I jumped at the opportunity to ride there. He hooked me up with a 600cc Honda. I couldn't tell the model. A small touring bike. I was the youngest in the group, just turned 50. I think there was 8 of us. Most of the guys were in their 70s. They took me into the mountains, early spring, absolutely stunning . I had never seen anything like this in person before. So I tried my best to soak it all in, at the same time riding these switchback roads. After an hour or so we stopped for a quick rest. I had been riding an unfamiliar bike on unfamiliar roads, so of course I was riding a bit slower. The one rider thought he would give me a hard time for riding slower.
He says "Why are you riding so slow? Are all your roads in Canada just flat and straight ?
"
YES ! We don't have massive mountain ranges in Toronto, and the roads are straight."
That was my introduction to Austria. Getting my ass kicked by a bunch of 70 years olds, and my 80 year old father in-law.
After a few hours in these new surroundings, I had the time of my life. Something I will remember forever. The only thing that would of made that experience better, if I had my own bike there. I ride a early tube frame Buell that handles corners like nothing else I have ever ridden.

Normal a Triumph rider with a Laverda thrown in over the years bought a Heritage 107 2021 however not my thing unfortunately I have now gone to a 22 Street Glide ST 117 and I have found my love it’s a keeper ❤. Also a big fan of the cube s

I started with a 2022 Iron 883, looking to add a Street Bob 114 and a Road King Special to the stable, I love my Evo Sporty, the Softail frames and American Grand Touring frames equally in different ways. The Sporty is my first love and has its own special charm, the Street Bob feels super easy to flick around and dip into turns and really pulls at low rpm, the Road King Special pulls really hard as well with that 114 and is like floating on air, the floorboards tuck my knees to the tank and put me in a really relaxed seating position, that combined with the supper smoothness from the suspension and that 800lb curb weight and it's a Lazy Boy chair on wheels. XL Sportster for commuting, Street Bob 114 commuting and medium length trips, Road King Special add quick detach windscreen for long runs. I love them all. Add some good friends to the mix and you can't go wrong.

We picked our low rider s up a few days ago and have put over 700kms on it already just cruising around the Hunter valley. It’s my first Harley after many years of riding sport bikes and nakeds and I love it. After coming from a Yamaha xsr900 it’s funny to hear you call the LR small and lightweight, but it’s all relative I guess! There is definitely a learning curve to riding them compared to the lighter, more nimble bikes I’ve come from, but the rewards are worth it. I get it now.

Can’t recommend Ride like a pro and Be the boss of your motorcycle video channels enough to get you the skills and confidence to handle the weight and length etc of a Harley. Really changed my mindset- along with your excellent channel of course 👍🇬🇧

Riding since I was 17, now 62, 1st Harley bought 2 years ago, my softail slim (2020) is perfect for me as a road bike, especially now it has a stage 2 (SE power cam) and ohlins fitted front and rear, May look to get a touring Harley but my Diavel does a great job of that duty

I have a Chieftain for my everyday transport, twisty roads, touring and camping, suits me right down to the ground!

OND, born and raised in Southern CA here in 1958.... And these Vicla's are very much alive in East Los Angeles, Pico Rivera, on down into Orange County, Santa Ana and San Diego. It's very much Chicano culture in origination, but much more homogenized the past couple of decades. You could probably get a better feel for it from some of Matt Laidlaw's employees over at Laidlaw HD.
64, and my first street bike (had dirt bikes in the past) was a 2018 Harley Davidson Sport Glide. At 6'5" and 275#, I had to have the forward foot pegs. It does almost everything a Low Rider ST does, but with the 107 CI motor instead of the 117, so it's a little bit slower and less peppy. Put a 56mm Showa rear shock on it in back for 5.5" travel instead of 4.5" of travel, and it leans over pretty close to a LRS in the twisties. Stock bars are great, added a Mustang Explorer seat, HD mustache riding bars, and 6" risers with 2" pull back, and it fits great at my height.
I've found the Sport Glide to be a great first Harley Davidson for me, maybe it works for some of your readers. See if you can find one to ride with a Stage 2 torque cam in it and take it through the twisties. Plenty of canyons and mountains to ride in here in Southern California and the Santa Monica Mountains area. It's very, very close to a Low Rider S, but works well for us taller riders.
Thanks for the input. I know a few people who have sports glides, they look and ride great. Im just not a fan of those bags (also found on the low rider st) - the bike is great. I wish there was a solution for that. Lol, us tall guys - always spending on adjustments
Sold my bagger to get a Lowrider S lol, put some of the old FXR bags and FXRT fairings on it and it's absolutely perfect. So much more fun to ride than my old bagger lol I think with the cam I'm dyno'd around 119/128 and my bagger was a bit higher, but the weight plays such a huge difference. Absolutely perfect bike!

I have a 2011 road king after owning softtails, dynas and even a couple of rigid. I ride from Brisbane to Sydney about 4 times a year and it is an armchair. I now have on order an anniversary road glide and I ride about 25000 km a year

I traded in my 2017 Street Glide sp. for a 2022 Heritage Classic. I love this bike because of the lighter weight and I swear it is more comfortable. The wind shield even works better the the bat wing faring. I'm 69 now and this bike is perfect for me with a 28" inseam. It is really 2 bikes in one.

A lot of people, especially younger people, think all harleys are just for old people, I don’t really understand the dislike. Their loss!
You are right, I think part of it is the expense relative to the other options they have.
43 now, had 3 fat bobs and now fat boy lo. Hands down my favourite bike with 38” beach bars and being vertically challenged it’s perfect to be able to touch the floor 🤣 I’m thinking to get a second bike, brother has a sportster 48 and thinking to get one for a bit of fun and something different. Either that or an old evo fat boy but that’s more of a lifetime itch scratch 🤯🤣

My 2020 Roadking is 1" taller than my 2008 anniversary Heritage was. I'm 5'6" ,... and after trying different seats, the remedy for me was to trade out the rear shocks for the same ones 1" shorter. It made all the difference in the world!.... Since then,.. I've seen guys put lowering blocks on their bikes,... however the shorter shocks were the better way to go.

I have had five Harleys. Started on a 79 roadster, then a 81 lowrider, then a 99 Fatboy, then a 2010 Electraglide classic, and finally my 2020 street glide. Hands down the street glide I like the most. I ride mostly open road touring. Very first modification was a taller windshield and hiway pegs. I've rode several 500 mile rides and feel it is unbearable on the hiway yet easy to get around town. The best of both worlds so to speak.

Yeah, you get off any of the tourer's and all the other line up feels light. Wish I had more coin, I would certainly add a Low Rider S or ST to the stable.

Those were some exceptional, well thought out machines. Very good turn out. I honestly had no idea that Harley would be so popular there. How are the prices of the bikes and aftermarket parts. Are they extremely expensive compared to what we would pay in North America ? I'm actually located in Canada. I've owned lots of different bikes in the last 35 years. I'm 54 now, and I ride an early tube frame Buell. This one is a 01 Buell Cyclone with the 1203cc, and it's over 110 HP now with a few minor changes. I love riding this bike. I'm 6 foot 4. Just a little too tall. I made my own handlebars, relocated the foot controls as well as making a custom solo seat and rear fender. Riding position is so much nicer now for me being so tall and lanky. Love your video, mate. I just discovered your channel so I will be checking out your others. Thanks gentelman.
Welcome to the channel. Yeah Harley's are very popular and expensive here - also the second hand market prices are high too. Part of the problem is the dollar conversion because the USD is so much higher at the moment.
@@OldNotDead-Club I can literally drive/ride to the United States border in an hour and a half. Our Canadian dollar gets beat up pretty bad by the Americans most days. So yeah, I feel your pain when it comes to that. Obviously our shipping charges will be nothing like what you guys would have to pay.
Now is there a lot of businesses in your country that manufacturer aftermarket Harley parts ? I'm just curious. I don't know anyone on that side of the planet.

For me, my preferred model is any bike with floorboards. After owning a bike with floorboards, I couldn't go back to a bike with pegs.

I’m 5’9” and I ride an Ultra Limited, and I have a seat that pulls me back a bit. History, I had a Super Glide FXDC that had its highway pegs way out, and I got used to them. When I went to my 2014 Street Glide Special I felt very confined, so I was always on my highway pegs. Now I have a 2019 Ultra Limited, and I’m still always on the highway pegs, but the fitment is perfect, my feet are flat foot on the ground, and I’m fine, even negotiating in gravel (true test) so I’m a freak when it comes to this size riding thing.

@@physiciansassist1 nothing. I wanted a late model (after the oil pump issue) 114 but not brand new. Also with out too many mods that I would have to pay for and replace. That left zero RG specials.

Thanks much appreciated. You will fit nicely on most models as long as you think about a seat that pushes you back. Personally I find the touring bikes are best but any of the softails will do nicely
I have 2 Harley's, a FXST and a 03-FXD, love them both but hands down my "03 Super-Glide anniversary" is my favorite, I bought it new and it still kicks ass, only problem on these bikes is the "Cam Chain-Tensioner" these will screw your bike up if not taking seriously, it happened to me several years back

nice shirt mate :-) I had a heritage loner from HD , during its first service, I have to say , it was more comfortable , easier to ride and very comfortable out of the box , much more so than my RKS , but I never considered it, because of the ugly looking bags ,

Yeah I bought the ‘21 Low Rider S with the puny, little, 114 in it so mine can barely even leave a stop light it’s so slow and underpowered. JK. It’s a blast to ride but I definitely wish I had that 117. Not trading in for it though. I love the gauges on the tank where they belong, and I’ve put way too much $$$ into my bike already. I’ll just have to live with that measly little 114. Definitely putting a cam in it later this year though! That will be exciting!

Thanks, we have no manufacturing of vehicles left to my knowledge. (Maybe some speciality vehicles) The police in Victoria use BMW bikes last time I noticed. This is probably just tendered out to whoever wants the contract.

my fellas got 2 bikes,RKSP and new low rider s,he cant get enough of the low rider,he loves it ! myself from learning from 125,my 1st bike was a street 750,and as you said i was clamming for a bit more oomph :D next bike i had was the sportglide, had that for a year then bought roadking sp,which i absolute love to bits,but,im just too short,and he is a bit heavy,had him for a year and gave in.so now ive gone for the breakout,bought a 2015 one with hardly any mileage,i can flat foot it and easily get off the stand ,compared to king x great video ! some beautiful bikes,love the engraving

Harley really does make a bike for everyone. I just recently traded my big Roadglide for a new Heritage Classic. Not because I didn't love the RG, but I never do any Touring per sey.
I ride a lot of country roads, and the Heritage is more suited for those. It was just too much work with the RG.

My suggestion will always be a softail or dyna. They have the best size/performance/ergonomics for 90% of riders
I've owned a RK, and ridden a variety of shields. But I got 2 softies and a chopper now. Maybe I'll get another RK, but I miss my 15 Indian Vintage and its the same size.

I went from a touring to a softail because getting older, less muscle, I kept dropping the roadking in the parking lot, just trying to maneuver it around. I swear a trike isn’t in my future, time will tell

@@OldNotDead-Club good advice, exercising, except the ten pound weights keep falling off the handlebars. Honestly though I lost a lot of leg muscles after both knee replacements, I have my eyes set on a street glide after I tire of the slim.

most MChead injury accidents involve the chin. Get a full face helmet. They also keep the bug from hitting you in your face.
My fatbob has a lean angle of 31° left side and 32° right.
I've done a stage 3 on it and it's now got 131flb off torque
I lost my left leg serving in a British infantry battalion , it hasn't stopped me from riding, i live my fatbob, with all the changes I've done to it the bike gets plenty of attention.
Some people say it doesn't handle because of the large front tyre.
All you need to do on the twisties is put a bit more effort and aggression into it.
The bike handles great and if a one legged fat man on a fat bob can do it then there's no reason why you that are thinking about buying a Harley and think the bikes are too heavy then remember if a one legged English bloke can do it then you can as well. 🇬🇧🇦🇺e

Well ride a Fat Boy like you did. From what I understand you can add a windshild thou it would make the look of the Fat Boy decrease, but wind or no/little wind. Adding a sissy bar and a rack for trips back and forth from marshal arts training with my gear and for short rides in groups. :) Again well done!

im 74 now and have small stature l prefer softail its just about right size for me but somehow ended up with electra glide its heavy and not as nimbal as softail it took me awhile to get used to
the electra glide ,,if l had to do it all over again l would go with the softail

I rarely see sports bike riders that can actually ride. SG lean angle is acceptable on the road
Which HD should I buy? My criteria are: Less than $20,000US, one where I can hear myself think and one that can go 25,000 miles without wrenching. I know, doesn't exist.

For me size matter that why i looked at all the HD so i look at other brands and at my biggest surprise the biggest manufacture bike was in front of me so i bought it last summer in August to be precise and its no other than the Triumph Rocket 3 GT 2500cc or in HD number 153 cubic inches of pure torque and power no need to buy another harley motor the 135 with an additional 8k here in Canada no the Rocket right out of the box huge motor no extra cash needed that the king of the road for me bad ass motorcycle.

Things have changed a bit. A smaller HD like the new Sporster S or a Nightster are not underpowered anymore. After a test ride I'm sure they're at least more powerful than a 107.
I won't touch the "soul" topic. But in terms of power they're a lot faster.

Aimon, I thought you would have went in depth a bit more..You know I'm currently on the LRST, where would you classify that model.. Medium or large.? For me i found mid mounts very tiring..so I went forward and lower with boards. and a different seat of course. Now i won't part with it. Although I have found the 10 inch screen. Causes nearly the same buffeting so I'm glad i kept hold of the smaller stock screen..so my beard can blow over my shoulders during summer..keeping me cool anyways. As for cornering I still haven't manged to scrap the boards..but I figure I'm close.
Still feeling my way through which videos are suitable, not sure about the depth yet? In the video I say the Low Rider is "small" but I guess as its on the soft ail frame now it could be medium. Great bike!
