For that amount of money I could simply build a better trailer for around $10k to maybe $15k if I really wanted to go all out and have it perform exactly the same or better. Fortunately, if you know how to weld you can save a ton of money. I’m not opposed to companies making a profit but price gouging is different and this is outright price gouging if these are costing between $50k to $75k fully loaded plus taxes and other State mandated fees.

The trailers won’t reduce in value by 60% for new ones in 5 years. Also, if that’s the case then why hasn’t other trailers done the same exact thing? Hive trailers are also in Utah, very similar in design and even do some things better. Their off road trailers cost $30k to $45k new. Vorsheer trailers are $50k to $75k. All they are doing is price gouging and nothing more. Oh, and Hive offers a shower and shitter with their off road trailers.

Otherwise you’ll be climbing onto your bed wet and muddy to get changed 🥴 plus it would be somewhere to hang wet stuff to dry. Costco sells big tarps for cheap, and then get you some cord. Sure you could makeshift something. I think the point of these trailers is simplicity and ability to modify what you want.

I just watched Jay Leno do piece on the Earth Roamer and I felt the same way. When Jay Leno says it’s expensive then you know it’s out of reach for most folks. I would rather just get an RV. Obviously the trade off is the lack of off-road capabilities but I’d rather go RV. Even just rent one ✌️🇺🇸

I’ve got a gas generator on the RV. My 4 horse trailer has a propane generator. The propane is quite, no carburetor, safer fuel. Fridge, stove propane, also
