Assetto Corsa modder Pyyer is back at it again with an amazing Singapore F1 2023 track layout! The layout has only been announced a few days ago. Brilliant work! What do you guys think of the new 2023 Singapore layout? Is it better or worse? What has been changed? 🤔

I actually liked the last sector very much
But i also understand the change
They didn’t change it for entertainment purposes, the government told them they need to change it because they will build something new there

Hard to say whether it was at full blast, but crazy that the 2023 lap was only 0.7 slower than Lewis’ lap in 2018.
Defo didn't look like the car was anywhere close to its limit. Easy 0.5-1 seconds in that lap left to squeeze out
maybe because the 3rd sector has a long straight now instead……..
@@tadhgdarcy8367 yes and the fact is literally that, Lewis was so fast that whether having a much slower lap had only 0.7 deficit from the 2023 layout Singapore track.
@@tadhgdarcy8367 That's what he meant, it's crazy that the 2023 lap is 0.7s slower than the 2018 lap despite there being a straight now instead.

The Reason is, the goverment told them to change it because they will build something new there. It will change to the old after the work.

I really liked the last sector in Singapore very much. Too bad it's going to be gone.
There weren’t any overtakes there besides the Perez sirotkin crash
It's only for a year, the Singaporean government is building something in front of the grandstand
It will return to the old layout, they will build something there and they need the place clean
It will come back, they’re doing work there and when it’s done the tunnel will come back
I love that tunnel bit but that's last sector will be good for overtakes
I'm pretty sure all the drivers will be happy with this change, easier for them now
It's not fun anymore tho

Turn 16 to 19 and thw lap increases to 63
this change is really healthy for the track, that last sector really prevented any chance at overtaking unless throwing down a hail Mary Massa 2012 style, this change will also prevent the race coming to an end on time rather than on laps due to one SC period
The change makes a lot of sense, whilst fun over one lap the micky mouse section just kills the racing
Guarantee Codemasters won't have the new track ready in time for the next game
Ohhh so the tunnel its gone , i actually like the sequence to the tunnel but the chicanes after those i hate

Sad they'll not use the bay grandstand again. The stand has the greatest view (not race view).
How many seconds different between both laps ?
I think it will increase overtakes, with that being said it’s only gonna be like this for 2023
That was the only part that wasn't drying as quickly so these changes mean the track will dry quicker, better for racinh
My favourite track and the last sector was the best part. such a shame to ruin it like that. just boring the last sector
as iconic as going under the grandstand was, i'm so glad they're making this change. Should make for much better racing IRL and in game should be less aids to actually try and drive
Most likely better for overtaking and it's probably for the better, I will miss the old layout though. I wanted to see if Hamilton's lap record could be broken.
I prefer 2022 cause of last sector
The straight looks DRS eligible. Anyone knows if it will be a DRS zone?

They removed the coolest part of the track in the tunnel under grandstand

This change does not make any sense.
I think it make sense for more opportunity to overtake in the straight with drs enable, but i felt they deleted the essences of the circuit
It’s not up to the fia or f1, the “bus stop” part of the track will be a construction site soon. The street won’t even be able to be used be citizens or tourists let alone f1 cars.
@@octafianmahaputra153 honestly the braking zone into t16 is one of the best, alongside t13 russia. The corner itself isn't fantastic but I can't hate an angled braking zone

They changed the circuit at the request of the Singapore government due to construction.
It'll return to the original layout in 2024.
Good to see mercedes got quicker in 2023 🤣🤣
