Yes those bags are heavy. Just like the original Florentine ones. Boy I had that experience. My shoulder was hurting so bad. I got country with it. I took the bag and carried it up under my arm. 🤣 I knew I looked awkward and didn’t care. Beautiful bag!

Very Good Review. This is a Beautiful bag. The Camera doesn't do it justice. I'm definitely going to carry her the way I carry my other Pebble grain satchels and that's short shoulder. All of my straps are doubled. Very Comfortable that way. Tfs and have a Happy New Year 🎉
Yep. Short shoulder it is. I’m really a top handle girl so not being able to wear her top handle is a bummer but imma make it work

Dre she is a beautiful bag. Nice review. Great idea about the web strap. Would change it up and hopefully alleviate the pressure on your shoulder. I wish Dooney would come out and offer in addition to this bag with a light leather line for this satchel. I would eat them up! happy new year 🎉🎉

I actually took my bag to a shoe repair shop to have the shoulder strap shortened. It works well!

I really wanted the micro version, but i think I'll get a different dooney. The Marc Jacobs leather tote can get heavy and feel bulky at times, it's a Turn off for a bag to look or feel like luggage.*removes from cart*

I had my eye on it for months and kept debating and often hoping for a better sale than 30% off. Recently, Dooney sent me a coupon code for 25% off. During a more recent sale code in place. And i was able to get it for 55% off. So i couldn't really pass that over. 😊❤

You are very lucky. There have been some occasional “glitches” on the site over the years where people have been able to use 2 coupon codes. I’ve never caught one though

The weight is definitely something to consider and one of the reasons I waited so long to purchase. When I wear her I double up the strap and as wear like a shoulder bag
@@Drelovesbags do you likely think the drawstring bag is heavy too probably
@shelleyzoe8254 it may not be quite as heavy depending on the size and the leather. Dooney had so many different leathers and some are heavier than others. Also a lot of their silhouettes come in more than one size so we got a few variables to consider. But generally speaking if you don’t have back or shoulder problems even the heavier bags will be OK for shoulder carry.
